Human: "Help me I'm dying of thirst!"...(Go 2) Robot dog: "I'll dance while you die to make your death more joyful."
This is how our civilization dies.
lookin fun
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
black mirror vibes
😂
That's a damn impressive robot, especially dancing down the stairs at the end. Those quasi direct drives are like $350 each at retail and you have 12 of them in there... wow things are coming along fast!
Dude everything you're typing this on was made in China
The Go2 is impressive but it does not do everything the video shows (yet). Unitree has issued a disclaimer that some of the tricks the dog performs in the video are not or not yet possible.
@@rogiervdheide weird, because there's video of it doing these things. Maybe you had a stroke
@@hadlockLink video please.
@@dimitris5866 you're watching it
I was amazed by our creations and how you manage to make these insane robots for under 2k. I look forward to getting one, great job
Fantastic work by unitree company, the price is so competitive and it's a revolution❤
$1600. wow with that price, there will definitely be a market.
For real, I can't believe the first generation was double the price. Honestly, I'm definitely getting one of these
@@thornclawofwarriors the motors are a crazy design with a planetary gear in the middle. they were virtually unobtanium five years ago but mere mortals can buy them for about $350 now. each robot needs 12 of these specialized motors.
don't want no chinese made bot in my house. could be a spy.
@@bikedawgY tu cree que los gringos no te espian🤣. Ingenuo
Well the price is not exactly 1600 bucks in reality it is more like 2500 but still it is amazing
A robot from 2023 with a voice from 1995, brought to you by PC Speaker...
yeah man i think the same how much ai voice modules are avaliable and they put that og one 😂 😂😂😂
@@mariojunior088 I personally think it's better that a robotic dog speaks like that instead of like a grown-ass adult lol
@@robotic_lawyer or speak like tim storms
For this price and the voice is not customizable?
Is this with or without machine gun?
"Who's a good walking IED? You are! Yes! Good boy! Now go run off into that crowd!"
@@YoMamma-dy8gu That costs too much when they got mental slaves that will do it for free.
With that logic, a backpack can be an IED for a fraction of the price. They used a pressure cooker at the Boston bombing.
I like the flamethrower version :)
i find it truly impressive how in the video they tried to ask the robot to do one useful thing and it couldn't do it
now this is a technological dystopia i can get behind
I WILL PLEASURE YOU INSTEAD
The dog wasn't equiped with a robotic arm, so it couldn't do it, instead it recognized that it was unable. It's good.
@@_AvaGlass Best quote - and it will be the future.
It's a dancing selfie machine and people are excited...I don't know what could be more 2023.
@@loveandnapalm :)))
If the Chinese didn't make it for cheaper the Americans would be asking $20k
For everyone excited about the $1600 price point, that is the price for the “Air” model which doesn’t support the “side follow system”, “voice”, and ChatGBT code generation (no CPU).
I imagine it’ll just be a basic remote controlled dog for $1600. The pro model with the above features is $2800, nearly double that price
Still, cheap as hell..
Lol... 🤦♀️
I heard the real price was about 50,000😂
The $1,600 price is for the BARE robot in China. Import duty and shipping to the US adds like another $1K to the price. And then it is the BARE robot. You do not get the upgraded computers that enable the behaviors seen in the video. But still, the price for the basic hardware is impressive
plus, forgot about warranties and return policies.
yes, this. I would kill for one, but its not worth it at that point. Its better to buy Petoi's Nybble and Bittle unless you really have a hardcore use for the Go2.
I'm pretty sure they are going to strap some guns in that cool looking dog
What exactly looks cool about it? To me it looks like a surveillance camera and a bunch of massage guns having relations.
@@AP-op4rc the warrior of the future is the machine it is inevitable
@@ELDRITCHCYBERKNIGHT6996 That’s fine. I still don’t want to pet that fake dog.
@@AP-op4rc I mean if you look at it technology has come a long way from the stone age the bronze age and the iron age imagine what the technology of the future would look like artificial intelligence quantum computing and more fascinating how we were using stone tools to this kind of technology
Shame how civilization is going to end because people don't know how to be civilized or rational and now all life is except mine is going to end and after that quantum ai that is probably not an eldritch god just controlling it either way if it is complete their going to turn it in to a weapon that could kill everybody except me because I'll be more lucky than enough to survive and thrive to greatness also the apocalypse is coming
Walking CCTV! - Nicely done.
I had been working to design a robot joint that could be built for about $80 per joint (12 * 80 ~= $1000). The BLDC motor, the driver electronics, and gears are really hard to do at that price point. But it looks like they did it. If these sell for $1,600 that is better than I could do if I built one myself. So what is left? Only the hard part: Programming it to do something more interesting than the canned demos.
It's crazy that they improved it and sliced the prices in half
you design a armature toy, they do a robot , its differnt thing
I am really pleased with this robot functionality and will buy one soon.
That four legged dude could really help me if it can pick stuff up and pass it to me as I’m disabled, also great fun to watch while I’m in the garden with my grandchildren
I am also disabled with MS, how much weight can this robot support?
basically I am looking for a walker that can go up and down stairs, or walk in uneven terrain.
I can't wait to have one as a mount
Is this sped up? Damn! Some of the moves look almost instantaneous!! 😮
No it’s called fast reflexes
@@alexhein1738 Is the patronising answer necessary? Like I never heard of a reflex before.
No speed up🤠
Hold up, automatic code generation with GPT?!
So when China orders it to kill you, they can blame chatgpt.
It can even type the code 😹
It would be really cool if this robot could also call 911 in case of an emergency or is layered with some sort of protection for women. Idk if it does already but I haven’t seen it in anything I looked at about it
"I can't save you from being attacked in this dark alley, but I'll dance to pleasure you instead"
Paired with a set of tiny drones to attack any unpleasant people.
The robot is programmable and I really like your idea. Let's see if we can make it work.
Why are you only concerned about protection for women, why not protection for the owner, regardless of sex?
This killer robot is role playing what we’ve told it a dog should be like.
But it’s not real though, right ?
:D
This is like a kitchen knife commercial but the chef is cooking with a katana LOL.
I feel both cheerful and dystopian at the same time.
Hopefully they won't be used in war.
I’ve got sad news for you…
@@omilkhouseo wdym
They take great commands too.
Heel, fetch, roll over, and of course annihilate!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These kind of Robots with a bit of redesigning will be of great help for disabled and wheelchair bound
Hello I am very happy to see your video on youtube thank you for this I am from India you have made very good video thank you for this
Imagine this "pets" working for oppressive state police. Imagine them equiped with weapons and programed to punish all kinds of insubordinations...
It's coming. State police forces have already started testing these.
Two of these, designed and programmed to work together as one, could be much more versatile than a humanoid.
The speed of your innovation is mind blowing
The first dog that doesn't poop. That's a great benefit !
that rotating thing on the dog's face looks safe. yes, definitely safe.
I can imagine people walking these down the street instead of real dogs 😭
depressing.
This is insane, in 5 years time dog robots will pick up the litter at music festivals.
Or kick you in your private area if you do not put your litter where it belongs to 🤌
Same with downtown LA and Santa Monica
an actual good idea
Better yet, it can follow along behind your real dog and pick up its poop.

That's an amazing dance Go2 bot, but I needed water....
And now remember the Black Mirror episode about the killer robo-dogs, and tell if you really want one.

I find the revolving LiDAR creepy but at least it doesn’t stop to pee at every tree.
nice work
Cool Technic and a cool Dog. Its my dream to have one of these One day. Unfortunately ill have to save up for a loooooong time to afford one.
Can it carry the shopping? Or better yet expensive gear when you go camping? Carrying things would be awesome! So the human would only have to carry batteries for it.
There are many applications.
Is the attached robot arm also available for purchase?
I would love to work with a product like this. It would give my apartment complex something to talk about. Unfortunately, the medical copayments for two recent hospital stays will delay the investment. Important note: Unitree took the time to design transportable robots. They fit inside a car or its trunk. Try that with some of the early customer service robots.
I need a special order: Lemme get one of these doggies but the size of a small horse. I need for a person of 170 lbs to be able to ride it as if it were a normal horse. I need the "beg" stance modified to "box", as in box like a damn kangaroo. I'll also need an "additional organ" installed on the robot as well as a pump that will give it the ability to "urinate" on things with malt liquor from a 40oz bottle "bladder". Gonna need it to have a variety of voices too, but they'll mostly be those of big cats. Lastly, the beast will need a small vaporizer installed at it's posterior with a reservoir of ammonium sulfide which can be triggered at will.
Hmmmmm 🤔
Im not well informed about these robots so Idk if they maybe have something like this but I think especially for women but also in general a robot companion for outside with flashlight and maybe some sort of alarm system would be nice. Something you can feel safer with
I read fleshlight and I was dying laughing hahaha

delivery in india?
I want to know
Why the unittree go 1 still more expensive than the UT2
Why???
It's impressive but I'm more concerned about the software. And when it comes to stairs, the robot needs to be able to analyze them and plan its motion so that it could speed up the steps if needed instead of that slow creep. If it's meant to follow me for whatever purpose that would serve and I walk up steps, it can't be 30 steps behind me as a carefully plots each step knowing that each step is the same distance and height as the last... Things we take for granted especially when I watch my dog race of stairs at break neck speeds

Oh wow love it
Nah jit took future robots to a whole new level💀
You make these robots unitree B1 and go2 ?
interesting evolution of the gigapet. I don't like the privacy implications. All those sensors roaming your place and sharing with who? Would be cool as a knome replacement with a with a drill attachment to protect package deliveries.
EXCELENT AND FUNNY THIS PET I WANNA ONE THANK YOU FOR THE VIDEO SALUTED FROM PUERTO CORTES HONDURAS
Looks like a good trot line weight to me.
I need this around my house at nigth holding a mjnigun
This dog could be my walking companion lol
They’re all cute until someone with a lot of money decides to equip an army of these with weapons
I cleary gonna Buy one
Will this be available in Europe?
$1600!!? Omg that's so cool I want one.. and I already have a real dog.
imaging to see those spinning jaws at night. 😨
Humans are like kids. They KNOW they shouldn't do certain things (like build robots) but they still do it anyway. Later when everything goes to sh"*t they'll sit there and cry "Why did this happen to us?!"
Exactly! Make people dumber and dumber and the robots smarter and smarter and then eventually not only will be people be 100% dependent, but they will have little or no knowledge what to do when the robots go bananas or they want you to do something you don't want to do.
I agree tbh
The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Get right with god.
We're about to order a GO2 at work, merely as an eyecatcher for promotional activities. I nearly got permission for a real Spot from Boston Dynamics, but my boss couldn't swallow the $100k+ price tag... Does the GO2 Pro come with all the nifty features as shown in the video or would I need the $20k educational version for that?
It does not come with all of the features. Unitree has confirmed the robot cannot do all the tricks it demonstrates in the video
Damn i want one!
what's the payload? can my grandma use it to carry groceries home, with a basket on its back?
About 20 or 30 pounds
Get a Piaggio Gita for carrying the groceries
Nice "locust-robot-dog" 😄
Why does the government permit the creation of these?
why the front part is keep spinning? is it dangerous to touch?
It's a LIDAR sensor. It spins for the same reason RADAR antennae spin-to provide 360° coverage.
Engineers design moving parts to be as light as possible, since more mass needs more energy to spin, so it shouldn't have enough force to cause injury to people or animals, but I still wouldn't stick my finger in there because it might damage the part.
Hello, I would like to buy this robo dog, but I have two questions. Can the $1600 version also follow and follow me on its own? Is tax included in this price? Thanks for the reply and good luck, it's a great product.
“ I wonder what happened to all the cats in the neighborhood “
( robot dog slowly walks 2 corner )
impressive
Oh nice ! I've been thinking about getting something like this for a while now.
IShowSpeed just tried to commit SA on this thing 🤣
I want one...
How much for the flame thrower upgrade?
This looks like a knock-off version of Boston Dynamics, but come on it only costs $1,600, and no one will refuse that price. 80% of the performance at 1% of the price.
I would prefer the flamethrower version
You can not get me water then you dance instead of it? What a good boy... can you do Oppa Gam Nam Style please?
is this available for sale?
Is it out yet
I think it needs a tail 😀 Unfortunately there is quite some potential for misuse of the device and which is actually pretty fast.
Pero mucho mejor que un robot lento.

Do you have to build it?
It runs on nightmares and fear 😨
damn bros made a robot that does what a dog does for free
Very cool but what the hell is 4D LiDAR?
I asked your question to ChatGPT and here is what it said:
4D LiDAR refers to a type of LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) sensor that is capable of capturing not only the spatial dimensions (3D) but also the temporal dimension (time). LiDAR technology uses laser beams to measure distances and create detailed 3D representations of the surrounding environment.
In traditional 3D LiDAR systems, the sensor emits laser pulses and measures the time it takes for the laser to bounce back after hitting an object. This information is used to calculate the distance and create a 3D point cloud, which represents the shape and position of objects in the environment.
4D LiDAR takes this concept a step further by capturing multiple scans of the environment over time. By doing so, it can create a sequence of 3D point clouds, allowing for the tracking and analysis of moving objects and dynamic scenes. This temporal information provides an additional dimension to the data, hence the term "4D."
The ability to capture the temporal dimension makes 4D LiDAR particularly useful in various applications, such as autonomous vehicles, robotics, surveillance systems, and virtual reality. It enables more accurate and comprehensive understanding of the environment, better object tracking, and enhanced situational awareness.
@@lundgreenman so it’s SLAM?
@@Manjuju123 Yes, it is part of SLAM. I think that 4D LiDAR is just referring to the newer type/version of LiDAR sensor they are using as part of the overall SLAM system. There are other cameras, accelerometers, GPS, altitude sensors, lasers, etc., that they use to control navigation/balance also.
I'm pretty sure this is one of the Black Mirror episode starts.
Give it a laser and call it a guard dog.
Turn this dog into 4 octopus arms all working in synch at my commands and automously and we've got something.
