That was a really smart and nice scene. Kept the momemtum of the train while quickly heating the rails enough... setting the train down and letting it's weight and forward motion straighten out the track right before it cooled. Very Supermanish. No destruction.
It's fun seeing him knock a baddie to the moon and all, but sometimes it's also really cool to see him be very deliberate and precise and making sure everything falls back into place with minimal disruption.
Oh my god even the cape is CGIed? You can tell the zealots are out on force if they say the effects are beautiful. It isn't They tend to camouflage a little bit better because most of those things are at night
I mean.. It kinda has to be cgi in this specific circumstance. Lol. How else exactly would a scene of this caliber and frame of time dilation, be created without cgi?
3 years later but they always CGI the cape. Man of Steel also did the same thing. Ironically Supergirl didn’t always CGI her cape so it looked kinda floppy in the wind tunnel they used and people complained about that, so literally they never win.

The train rescue was one of the best sequences in the series so far.
🤣
I love how he repaired the track
All you had to do was follow the damn train, Superman!
Tag went perpendicular to the train not with the tracks. It was him cutting across it for the turn that broke it in the first place
