      @@publiuscorneliusscipio2874 I did get the CZ 75 SP-01 Full size it's the same exact size as My Beretta 92 XI SAO but weights about 8 oz. more. I did well at first range day , happy with it. The glitch in the trigger is the firing pin safety plunger I think, I try a spec. Of oil or gun butter on the face surface

    Have the p-01 with night sights installed by a local gunsmith plus lock grips...very accurate. Have several CZ's..all of them are derivatives of the 75b which started life as the Communist Browning with the derivatives really being upgraded refinement of the original 75b. You can't go wrong with any CZ...accurate, easy to field strip for cleaning, size fits multiple uses so it you can only afford one these will do the trick plus quality made to where they'll be heirlooms for grandchildren.

      Scored a P06 today. That's the .40 version of the p01. Discontinued in 2016 still looks great

    I have a 75 D Compact. It is steel. I also have the light attachment. It has the decocker on it instead of the safety. I have had this several years. It's great. It also has the serrations on the front and back of the grip. It's like a hybrid between the two.

    • @erik22lax

      @@edgybob1 sounds like a discontinued model. There was a p01 steel frame previously. Now it's only alloy.

    You can just cut off the Lanyard loop. Ive done that on all my CZ's, just smooth it out with sand paper afterwards & hit it with a Paint Pen.

    I had a huge problem with the angle of the beaver tail on the Jericho 941. I loved the pistol, and it was super accurate, but that downward swept beaver tail didn’t agree with my high grip and after long range sessions the meat of my hand between my thumb and index finger would be throbbing and I’d have a noticeable mark there as well. Traded it off. Looks to be a similar angle to your 75 compact. Thanks for the video as I was thinking of getting a 75 compact as the steel frame P01s are impossible to find. Already have a p01 omega in urban grey.

      I have been looking for a steel p01 also and I got no results so far. Somebody posted a 97bd in .45 a few weeks back but they wanted $1100.

      @@erik22lax the cz subreddit leads me to believe that they only come into the country once a year, just like the od green p01. When they get scooped up, that’s it until the next year. CzCustoms sells a steel frame one, but it goes by a different name and the price is bananas. I could be wrong, but I believe the steel frame model has a safety as opposed to the decocker. As for the .45, you can see them pop up on occasion for 900 and slightly under, but as time goes on the price seems to be going up since they’re discounted.

    There is a in between model, it is called cz 75 semi-compact, a compact slide with full size grips. CZ custom makes another semi-compact model with bull barrels calling it the bull shadow semi compact. And some times you can find Israeli surplus semi compacts stamped as Massada.

    My Beretta's weigh 33. Oz unloaded it's heavier than the G-19 but the Beretta's shoots very good . I guess you own both on your table top review , Double action is a safe carry because of that first pull but you have to train that . My M9A4 DA/SA is so smooth 6.94 lbs and the SA 3.5 lbs follow up is great . My 92 XI SAO. SA.-4 lbs. Is more Glock (only carry) like both are Beautiful ❤️ styling , Much more Beautiful than CZ 's. However I nearly bought the P0-1 the other day very good in hand ergonomic feel , I probably will add one soon. PS DON'T DRY FIRE WITHOUT A SNAPCAPS IN CHAMBER . I HEARD A GUY TELL HOW HIS HAMMER ROLL PIN SHATTERED FROM DRY FIRING IT hard to get part.

    I like the Safety Model better , because you can never have that first strike capability single action with the decocker Model, ( Cocked & Locked ) but you can still can carry it in quarter cocked double action like the decocker Model . So with the Safety Model you have that option that you can't have with the Decocker Model , hope that makes sense . I think both Models would be better with a little bit lighter double action pull , 7 lbs. DA/ would be great, 3.5 lbs /SA also ,....like My Beretta M9A4 . My brand new CZ 75 SP-01 has a bad glitch in the SA. just before the brake ( a BIG CLICK before the brake) fucking terrible ! Maybe it will either brake in. Or just brake, however i did pay for a full warranty at purchase extra $30. bucks . But i did get very good groups +/- 4" at 35 ft. Not bad first time out.

    • @erik22lax
      @erik22lax  Місяць тому +2

      If you change a few of the springs you can get the DA/SA pull to 7.5/3.5. I have done it with a few of my czs. Cajun Gun Works parts not expensive either.
