- In this video I give a full in depth tour of a 1993 Ford Explorer Limited. My first detailing video of 2010. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this suv while showing details before and after I did a complete detailing to the vehicle, which had been sitting for a while. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this suv designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
That Explorer is in awesome condition! It looks amazing! The inside is fantastic! I want that Explorer!
@Mr. Cairo not really, mine is a 98 and still going strong!
I am dutch. i have been in love with the USA since I was a kid. Everybody in the neighborhood played football = soccer for you guys; we played baseball. and so, naturally, I love American cars. no german shit. I emigrated and now I can buy a 96 explorer, where I live. So I check out all those explorer's vids. Wow. This seems to be nice, real nice car! Cant wait to test drive the one I am opting for!
Dude, keep up the good work! No one treats vehicles like this anymore. That explorer will last a LOONNGG time in your hands!
In other words be grateful for what you have. From the new owner of a 98 ford. I'm so grateful for it.
I would drive all the way down to NC just so Kyle can detail my car.
He does very good a job each and every time I see one of his detailing vids.
I completly agree with you. My dad has a 93' Ford Explorer XLT. The breaks squeak like hell, 3 of the four windows dont work and the one that does somethimes has the occasion to fall into the door, it is leaking somekind of fluid, and there is something wron with the thing thats causing it to get 10 mpgs. This car will be mine in one year and I'll be damn proud driving it. New York City boy get real with yourself.
1993 black Ford Explorer was my first vehicle..I want it back aww absolutely love it...
Good work as always, Kyle!
I had a 90 Ford Ranger for 13 yrs loved that truck! The dash panel and everything was great!
Man, those things were nice back in the day
Beautiful truck! My favorite gen explorer.
I saw a Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 2 Door, it was this gen. And it had an Aqua Blue Paint Job, it was most likely the only one left in Canada!
Actually, it looks very well kept. I'd love to own one like this.
Wow 1 year ago from today (Dec-'11 back to Dec-'10) I watch this video because my uncle got a '94 Explorer. So then I looked it up and saw this video and clicked on it to see what it was more like. Then so when I did that it was my first ever video form saabakyle04. Nice videos, keep up the good work Kyle.
Always loved the design of the only SUV that ever came with the ability to do a totally random unannounced backflip: The first gen explorer. Seriously good looking though and I like the color in this clean Limited example.
Really impressive. Not a bad looking car, especially for being 17 years old. Great job
he should have used ArmorAll or Turtle Wax Trim Restorer on it to make all the plastic on the outside brand new. I love the suv , I just bought a 1998 Ford Explorer XLT with the V8 engine and I only had to replace the pcv valve hose , O2 sensor , and oil changes and im going to get the other fluid systems changed out one at a time . My explorer has 216K+ miles and it still runs strong
Use 303
I would totally buy this Explorer if I lived in the area, hard to find one this nice up here in Ontario... Love the vid's keep 'em coming!
i have a 94 limited and i wish it looked that good do you know of anywhere i can get body parts like fog lights and a front bumper in decent shape?
You did a fantastic job cleaning the Explorer Kyle
I love how I am not the only one that puts my explorer in Overdrive to drive it.
Damn Kyle, keep up the good work bro!!
KLEEEEEN!!! Nice Job! Thats how people should take care of their cars!
Beautiful Explorer!
Awesome job dude!!!! Just leave it to kyle he'll work his magic on any car. :D
I love this model explorer
Nice job, you really made it look a lot better.
You do great videos.
man its amazing how detailing a car cold go from a 3/10 to like a 8 or 9 out of 10...... even in purple this car looks amazing for its year. man saabkyle sell me that car for 500 ill take it any day! gorgeous. ford made some good looking suv's even in early nineties.
Great job Kyle. I hate pollen. I cleaned my SUV the other day and as soon as i got done drying the whole truck, there was a thin coat of pollen on it already. Ugh!
My friend's mom's Explorer looks EXACTLY like that. But its failing to pieces lol. Still runs like a champ though
@saabkyle04 That's exactly why I love your channel. Rather than like all the shows on TV and all the different videos on UA-cam that show the most expensive cars, or the most technologically advanced cars, or the newest cars out; you show the cars that everyday people drive and give us the opportunity to do a virtual inspection/test drive of the cars. All the way down to the way the turn signals blink, and the what the horn sounds like lol. Your channel is so unique.
@rsscarr i would say you would need to go to a company that makes the plexiglass skylights for houses and give them a mold and have them make it. Costly but worth it when done right. i would recommend a dark tint also
I LOVE THESE OLDER CARS!!! I just wish they had more power :/ (that is the the 6cylinder 4WD's)
those limited models were top of the line back in the mid 90s, and they were pretty expensive too.
Excellent job!
@saabkyle04 So true. I recently bought a 2000 Saturn SL1, and your review on the '02 SL1 was really informative.
This car is in really good condition. I live in Ontario and I never see these anymore, but the ones that I do see are always beaten up and rusty. This one looks great. I've seen a lot of your other car videos as well and I can't believe how good condition those cars are in. Are road salts used where you live?
WOW, Great job!
What did u do to dress the trim? Tire shine on it? Or did u buy trim blackener? A response would be great :)
OH SNAPPPPP, wow, that car looks fantastic now, thats an AMAZING JOB, great truck!!! :D
Just curious my friend, do you see many Chevy Blazers this Old on the roads there ?
What do you use to get sains out of the interior, aslo what do you use to shine the tires, i cant find anything good!!?
Thanks!!
@TheFirstBloodyNation Thats been my plan since 1993, the only problems I have had are with making the glass bubble roof. A large clear Acrylic sheet, heated over a mold of the roof was going to be the way I did it.
what do you use, and how do you "dress" the plastic trim?
WHAT DO U DRESS THE TRIM WITH! THAT LOOKS GOOD!
beautiful truck!
my first car was a 1993 Ford Explorer mine was the two door 5speed stick. I still have it parked in my back yard cant bring myself to sell it
'
how come this SUV do not have 2 amber yellow lights on the rear taillights
There will come a time that I will buy a Ford Explorer and make it like the one's in Jurassic Park!!
If you sold that explorer to someone over here where I live, it wouldn't last a month, lots of people have explorers but they don't know how to take car of them. good video.
I like the look of the antenna on the SUV though.
kyle, what do u do 4 a living?
I wish these older early 1990's Ford Explorers had the 5.0 liter V8.
@tcknapp1984 Can you tell us what did he forget to do on this car?
'
do this 1995 SUV have 2 amber yellow lights on the rear taillights or not
Can you do a video on the white Ford Explorer ? thanks
dude is that mud spatters behind the wheels AFTER the detail?
What if you didn't slam the doors so much?
wat kind of wax did u use?
Good job.
thts kinda nice for a Ford, i just luv the color tho its an awesome color :D
looks great but can definately use a buff with compound. The sides of my dark cranberry metallic '93 Exploder still look new. =)
The greatest body style of the Ford Explorer
That vehicle reminds me of Jurassic Park. (First version)
That's what I thought too!!
thats because its the same car used, except the one in the movie was a 92 i belive
¡Parque Jurásico!
Now paint it like the Jurassic Park touring truck :)
1995 is the best year they made them
I want one of these!
@NewYorkCityBoy123 If you didn't like the video, then why did you watch it in the first place?
I am not sure about other years just the 93, but ,yea most Explorers dont seem to have the yellow.
@saabkyle04 Don't take it personally, some people are just ignorant like that (NewYorkCityBoy123), he's just a hater because he can't afford cars like that Explorer. I like it...for the most part :P. It's just the color that creeps me out a bit, other than that, it's great. Good job!
Yeah I know, see my 93 Expore sports tailights are all red, but one got busted ,so I went to the junk yard and all they had was a 93 Mercury Moutaineer light, same thing just abit different and has the yellow ! Thats how I knew the guy told me..
Jurassic Park Tour Vehicle :D
Because only the 93 Mercury Moutaineer and the Navajo had the amber in the tail lights.
you burnt the clear off good job
@ryangood38 sure I "can," but I'm not gonna waste my time explaining to you how to recondition a car properly. 2 cans of insta-shine doesn't count
Paint it into the Jurassic Park Jungle Explorer and I'll buy it off of you....seriously
@saabkyle04 i completely agree kyle thanks for thinking this way u and i think very much a like lol Thanks 4 the detailing vid i really enjoy these!!
do a 1995 ford explorer xlt please
theres one in every crowd that has to put someone else down cause they're not happy with their life, who would rate this down?
👍Стан ідеальний
U don't see these in this shape anymore that's for sure
@talldude123 I think the color is ugly but different something you don't see everyday
Have one love it and my name
man you make great videos...I like this car but not its colour
that was definitely a mustang at 4:47 lol
This video really only needed to be about 3 minutes
@ryangood38 and not to mention who recons a '93 explorer? dump that fucking thing at auction as soon as possible before it blows up on your lot
Ethan O'Connell age 1
Woah... sorry for all caps lol
'

ford is a big lousy job automaker
@NewYorkCityBoy123 There are people who can't even afford a car, they walk, i would like to see someone total your car and u have to drive a cheap car or walk for a change. People like you just makes the BMW brand image worse.
'
dont use a word YOU on me,,,
both are better front and rear with amber lights,,,
red is stop,,,
amber is turning sign and emergency parking
'
