I made a 7 pound bowl yesterday. It is the biggest I have made so far. It took me a whole lot longer to throw than you do. This is a great video, and my bowl shape is quite similar to yours. You do beautiful work.
You really know what your talking about man. Your narration is great.
What a lovely bowl. I really like your learning narration videos. You provide so much really good information. Thanks so much
Thank you very much!
nicely done thank you for the commentary it was helpful
Glad it helped.
Thanks, very helpful!
Glad you got something out of it.
Thank you. That was a really good explanation. I’m going to try and implement these techniques on my next big bowl and see how I get along.
Glad you got something out of the video.
Thanks for this demo. I found the narration very helpful. Was curious how you decide on how wide to make the base/foot. To my (admittedly inexpert) eye, the base seems too narrow for the width of the rim, creating a potential stability issue. I'm hoping we get to see this trimmed-- I'm curious to see how you deal with trimming when the rim is larger than the wheel head. Thanks again for another excellent lesson.
Ill have a second part in the next few days where I show the trimming and piercing if your interested in seeing that.
Hi. Why are you putting clay at the edge of your bat? Thank you
Maybe not only call pounds but also kilograms for non us viewers? That would be even more helpfull!
Thanks for the feedback, Ill keep that in mind for future videos.
10lbs ~ 4.5kg
I just google it.
