    I made a 7 pound bowl yesterday. It is the biggest I have made so far. It took me a whole lot longer to throw than you do. This is a great video, and my bowl shape is quite similar to yours. You do beautiful work.

    Thanks for this demo. I found the narration very helpful. Was curious how you decide on how wide to make the base/foot. To my (admittedly inexpert) eye, the base seems too narrow for the width of the rim, creating a potential stability issue. I'm hoping we get to see this trimmed-- I'm curious to see how you deal with trimming when the rim is larger than the wheel head. Thanks again for another excellent lesson.

    Maybe not only call pounds but also kilograms for non us viewers? That would be even more helpfull!
