Thanks for the follow-up video Aaron. Your macro calculator made so much more sense to me than others! The recipes are sound and look delish. At a 20% deficit I am about 2k calories, 30 total and 20 net carbs, 225 g protein and 110g fat.

Thank you for doing a video on healthy keto. Ive seen so many videos where people smother cheese, sour cream on things. Also thank you for doing stove top meals. Many people don’t have access to a oven /air fryer I definitely will be subscribing. Maybe put healthy Keto olin title of your videos.
Hey Stephanie, I,still can’t seem to wrap my mind around Keto meals. Even Mayo for example, it’s so high in calories. I just need to really dig deeper and do my research.

I just made the beef and mushroom bowl - and holy cow!! That is a flavor explosion! Who knew about the chicken bouillon cube and beef?! Made the recipe exactly as directed, but added just a bit of fresh minced garlic. This is going into the dinner rotation regularly. Thanks a lot!!
These vids are great, thanks Aaron! Would it be possible to have one for men that represents 2100-ish calories and 165g-ish protein? Trying to keep the carbs in line isn’t just a question of increasing portion sizes is it?

Yup, that's a classic keto macro split. Not everyone has to eat in that specific split to induce ketosis. Ketosis comes from the absence of carbohydrates.
Hello! New to your channel and loving it! I just tried the macro calculator and mine is as follows: Total Calories: 1313 Total Carbs: 20g Net Carbs: 20g Protein: 111g Fats: 88g Can you help explain this? Thank you!
Great! So likely you have a fairly low body fat percentage, which is why your protein is a little higher. Thats good! For weight loss it's important to keep protein high. Follow the protien recommendation from this video but reduce the fat slightly
Thank you so much your the reply! When is says 111g of protein does that mean 333g cooked? That is what it said on the site. I just saw another video for 1300cal meal prep, would this be better? Sorry for all the questions! Its all so new to me!
Hey there, I,still can’t seem to wrap my mind around Keto meals. Even Mayo for example, it’s so high in calories. I just need to really dig deeper and do my research.
I'm confused. That tub of yoghurt contains nearly 8 grams of carbs, that's way too high for me, I am surprised you put that in. OTOH I don't know of any low carb yoghurt in Australia, they always seem to stuff it full of sugar. Greek yoghurt seems to be the lowest, but even that is around 4 grams per 100 ml.
Hi Percy. Yup, so the whole day comes out to under 40g of TOTAL carbs, and around 25g net carbs. It matters less where those carbs are placed throughout the day, and matters more if you're in an energy defecit. Going ultra low carb doesn't speed up weightloss, especially if it's unsustainable. I try to keep to close to real life here on this channel.
@@FatForWeightLoss Well as I have been doing it successfully for 14 months (from 102kg to 76 kg), I can't agree with you, but a lot of it depends on whether you were addicted to the modern heavy sugar laden diet or not. I wasn't, with the exception of bread. Most days I would be under 10 carbs.
His macros obviously allow a higher carb percentage. I also wouldn't fit in a yoghurt that high but I find I have to stick to 20g total carbs per days for my best results. Have you tried the "Two Good" brand of yoghurt available in Coles and Woolworths? They are only 2g of carbs per tub and its a good size, same size as the chobani pots :)
@@pearlsky83 To be honest I have never eaten yoghurt in my life EXCEPT for when I have gone out for an Indian curry (Cucumber Raita I think it's called), which, sadly, I can no longer do. Thanks for that, I don't recall ever seeing it on the shelves but will take another look.
Easy enough to follow, good suggestions. I think you don't need to cut the fat off of the bacon. In fact keto is all about fat, Also, I believe you may be using too much protein. I'm not an expert, but my understanding of keto is a moderate amount of protein with a high amount of fat and low carbs, because fat is the fuel source and excessive protein can actually lead to weight gain. Just my understanding. Thanks though for the recipes they are pretty good 😊
Bare in mind that there are females that are tall and lift weights! We need waaaaay more calories than that! Maybe you can follow up with a 2500 or 3000 calorie keto meal plan?
EVERYTHING I have read about keto, everything except this and from actual doctors- Jason Fung and Carl Berg to name 2- states that the ratio fats/protein/ carbs needs to be 70% fats, 20% protein 10% carbs. How do you get your number?
From years of working with actual people - those splits are great in an ideal world with a healthy metabolism, but generally from years of dieting my clients need to recomp more than simply just losing the weight.
