AT-779UV: The programming software could be a lot better, but the value is amazing. Tiny form factor takes up hardly and space. Good strong transmit, and paired with a nice antenna (Nagoya UT-72) makes for a wonderful mobile setup.
On the Anytone AT-779UV radio can you transmit on 2 meter or 70 centimeter bands? I bought one with the plan of transmitting on GMRS, 2 meter, and 70 centimeter bands. Thanks for your input.
Hello, how could I configure my station to be able to operate with a repeater. I have correct subtones and frequency, I can transmit but I do not receive through the repeater. greetings thanks AnyTone 779UV
What a load of rubbish the programming software is, no insert, no copy, no past, no import, no export, no move up, no move down. its a abysmal. Also no nick gain, i really really love the radio, programming software is the assault!!! well can't describe how frustrating it is, it really is frustrating compared to anything else have used that's crap. For me this radio will never see the light of day with me again until they sort eplace the software or chirp add this radio.
