This is a song by Frankie Valli that I've never heard before in my life, and I've heard a fair amount of Frankie Valli songs. And I like it. I wish they'd play it on the golden-oldies radio stations, instead of just playing "Sherry" and "Walk Like A Man" over and over and over again...
I grew up listening to Frankie Valli and the 4 seasons from my older brother. We still listen to them. Have seen them in concert many times growing up and I even saw them a couple of years ago when they did a one week legendary concert on Broadway in New York city. I got Frankie Valli's autograph and a kiss from him too. My brother is 71 now and I'm 67 and we play their records and CDS all the time on the stereo. They're truly one of a kind. Don't make music like that anymore. Much love from AnnMarie in Staten Island, N.Y. Much love is sent to them. 🎶🎶🎶❤❤❤❤😘
Just come back from a 60s music weekend in Skegness, where in between the performances the DJ played this little beauty. Thanks Mike Sullivan for adding to my NS collection. This song is brill!
Probably Frankie Valli's best rock song. Just to prove that he could if he wanted to. The groove is intense and never lets up. Cool piano break and back-up female vocalists. Absolutely fabulous.
wow back in the day 1970 listening to this at Kelmarsh alnighter, then some bugger decided to release to the charts we thought how dare do that to OUR song. But what memories and great song
Just picked this up (again) . . . having lost my original back in the 70s . . . reminds me of The Eagle Club (Chesterfield) . . . oh to be 16 again . . .
Hadn't heard of this number until now- while reading a biography of Frankie. Seen as something of a highlight of his 70s solo career. Have to admit it's a no. 1 that I didn't know.
Classic, brings back all the great memories when you knew who were your real mates, none of the backstabbing shit that goes on today.we didn't have mobiles then thank God.
Hey I'm 65 n I can dance to this like a 30yr old! Remember it like yesterday. Great tune!.
This could be my comment! I'm going on 65 and was involved with Northern Soul. I'm dancing to it now.
