I also thought there would be a few chicks in the video that might refresh my memory as to how much better the woman looked in the 70s compared to the 60's but that's really all the 70s did was make people more attractive. The 60's was full of life and revolutionary breakthrough of all kinds and I didn't care for the idiotic yuppies either but I did do some hallucinogens like alote of other young people in my day and that helped expand my mind a bit but in a good way and it ultimately shaped who I am today, it also helped build character and integrity. Now the 50's were essential in that it created the framework for the following decade but the 60's is really where rock n roll exploded beyond all barriers, it's the time of the greatest bands that ever lived and figures that will never be forgotten. Rock n roll became alive and swept through the nation bringing us into what some call another enlightened dimension of music and human expression, the possibilities seemed infinite and dreams were dreamed. We landed on the moon, we saw JFK assassinated, the economy was stronger than ever and should I get into the type of muscle cars that were made at the time with 425 hp straight from the Chevrolet factory? The U.S. mint was still rolling out dimes, quarters and half dollars that were 90% silver. The 70's will be remembered as the decade white people got their groove on. As for disco it will in all likelyhood never be remembered definitely not the same way rock n roll will. Our rock n roll will live on because it's from a magical place, it will continue to inspire and move people in a significant way forever.
