Excellent video brother. I can tell you though because I'm a poor ma'fucca here's where you went wrong with that mac and cheese. You add the water and you let that absorb and soften the noodles and after that there's almost no water left. Then you add the cheese and mix it together and it makes it like normal mac and cheese. You're better at catching cook, I'm better at backpacking quick instant poor-white-trash meals. We could teach each other a few things. 😂 Sláinte!
He also could have just boiled the noodles in the water pot to soften them up then just scooped them back into the container and mixed with the cheese. The water still would have mixed decent in the potatoes.
You may feel like you a poor guy,but let me tell you something, you my friend are richer than you think. Rich people have to worry everyday about keeping everything from being taken away where as you live a life that many of us envy.
22:59 Lomaland?? I'm from the Southwest too and I appreciate your videos. I used to explore without any preps or self-defense items and knowing what I know now, that was unwise. Your video showing the damages that were done to your vehicle is an eye-opener. I'd rather run into stray animals than people. Stay safe out there man!
i already have one, ive used it in past stealth vids, i just didnt see it as the best choice for this scenario. im already tresspassing as it is, do i want to make matters worse by skulking around closed businesses looking to steal water, bringing more suspicion upon me?
@@JunkyardFox It can be good to access a target of opportunity. Occasionally I find faucets in great places, and sometimes the nearest water is over a half a mile away- cities can be odd like that.
Best stealth camping you done so far,and by far the most "realistic" one. The past two stealth camping were awesome but they felt safe. Never did i once think anyone would intrude on you, hence you didn't feel the need to put alarms. This one really feels like stealth camping, you were even trying to hide from security. Awesome stuff James, looking forward to the next one👍🏻
@Section9studio you’re a damn fool lol your cousins live in a motel 6? And the motel 6 staff was perfectly on board with someone sleeping in the lot behind their property risking possible injury, property damage and lawsuit? What would the hotel gain from this at all? And a security guard would risk her job for a guy she doesn’t even know? Quit making up things where you pretend you know things you actually don’t, that’s inaccurate and slander.
As I was one of the whom voted for the stealth camping I am happy you did this. You are a very brave man James. There were peaceful moments but mostly a lot of nerve wracking moments. You put your mettle to the test and came out a champ. I always dream of going in the woods at a moment's notice and pitch a tent and camp on the fringe of urbanites, but I ain't got the balls you have. And I am guessing Cuervo didn't either.. :-)
i did this once in California behind a Motel Six when hitchhiking down the coast once , i got rained out , and ended up giving up and getting a room . i wasn't fully prepared , later i learned how not to get wet , and learned how to be prepared . great videos ! i love them !
Awesome video! You are a brave man and must have an amazing immune system from gathering water at that source. Also. Nalgene Oasis bottles are back in stock! I like to have three different colors on me for camping. Green means "go" and I can chug as much as I want. Blue means "cool it" and I can sip it when I'm thirsty. When I hit my red bottle, it means I'm almost out and to use the water sparingly if I'm not near a clean water source.
I can tell you for a fact that I really love and appreciate the stealth camping videos! In light of what is going on in this country 🇺🇸, I do believe that these videos are very useful to me!!! Hopefully, they are very useful to all of your followers 😊
For the Mac&Cheese... you need to cook the pasta then strain it before adding your melted cheese, that's why they were so "watery soup" Great video as always!
i already have one, ive used it in past stealth vids, i just didnt see it as the best choice for this scenario. im already tresspassing as it is, do i want to make matters worse by skulking around closed businesses looking to steal water, bringing more suspicion upon me?
Those trash trucks that empty the dumpsters are told to raise it up a few feet and drop it back down bcuz many homeless are using them as quick shelters. So they wake them up and give them time to get up and get out. Otherwise they get flipped into the trash truck and compacted with the rest of the trash and yes they have found people that didn't get out and were compacted and were found at the dump site crushed Popped like a watermelon.
Dude! What a night of adventure! You should make more vids like this, especially when it too windy or hot to get out and do your regular kind of stuff. One piece of advice i would give is dont take your boots or shoes off when bedding down, afterall you never know when you might have to jump up and take off running but i really like this video. Please do more like this. Keep up the good work, guy
This was a good one! You ran into some realistic challenges with the security lady and all the noise from that warehouse. The water bottle security system was clever. Too bad your cat buddies didn't hang around. For your water situation, it might be good to get one of the two quart army canteens. They come with a case that you can attach to a pack, or use like a haversack. If I'm camping somewhere without access to water, I'll bring a one quart nalgene plus the army one and that's usually enough for cooking, coffee, and hydration.
Great video, man. I’m watching this as I’m staying the night at a motel 6. Got me wondering who might be stealth camping behind this place now. 😂🤣 Good idea about the water bottles, awesome thinking.
That was a super fun adventure with a few suspenseful moments and some delicious food! What do you look for in a good stealth camp location? Seclusion? Riskiness? All three you've done so far have been so unique and fun to watch!
One piece of kit you may want to add in suburban areas is a tool called a silcock key. It is used to open silcock/water valves around commercial buildings where they do not want people turning on the water. They have tamper proof valves and may be shaped to where a multi-tool may not provide enough grip.

I know someone had already mentioned it but yes. With the Mac & Cheese...Add your hot water and allow the noodles to cook. When done simply drain off the excess water and add your cheese sauce. I do this all the time and it works great. Another great video. How about do that Catch and Cook video next? My grandma grew mulberry and it was fantastic to pick and eat as a kid... Great video, do more of this for the preppers that want to know how to live off the city land...
I once worked at a truckstop and would do semi- stealth camping. No pun intended. What I meant everybody at work knew I am camping in the wooded acreage behind the station. Nice thing was that was only about a thousand away so I can easily resupply as needed. The only promleb I had was when two guys on atv's noticed my bright blue tarp against the fall foliage. That was thend of that season. I fixed that by getting a green one and spay painting my own camo pattern. Had to the same for my hammock. As far as fires go, I use a Dakota firepit. If I am Wild camping and not worried about stealth I'll just do an open lay.
Great video, the water bottle detector was a good idea. Wow 5 cats, haha you beat me I have 3 but I have other animals. So it adds up lol. Cheers, Dave.
Man, it's been a while since I've commented on one of your videos, but I've just caught up with your stealth camps, and I just wanted to say they were all extremely well done and enjoyable. Will definitely be giving them a rewatch. Now, I do have three tips or suggestions I would like to give you, and whether or not you take and use them is entirely up to you. I also don't know if you do these things off camera or not, but if you do, feel free to ignore me completely, lol. 1. All your stealth camps have been urban so far, but have you considered stealth camping in a state park or something where there's a lot of foot traffic, but you're in the outdoors? You walk in unnoticed, camp unnoticed, and then walk out unnoticed. 2. Have you considered a red light? I understand you probably need the white lights for filming, but a red light would make you more difficult to detect as it doesn't travel as far and less noticeable in the dark. Or, if you don't want to use a red light, maybe the moonlight settings on your flashlights? 3. More of an observation than a tip, but most of those microwave mac & cheeses are made with the assumption that the microwave is going to evaporate a good portion of the water, the noodles will absorb what's needed, and you'll have a bit left to help mix the cheese. The fill line is marked with that in mind. Next time, I would add a little less water than the fill line, let it sit and get absorbed, dump out most of the leftover water, then add the cheese and mix. Just a tip if you go the mac & cheese route again, though it sounded like it worked out for you in the end. Anyway, keep up the good work, man, and I thoroughly enjoyed the stealth adventures.
You need to add a Camelbak to your ruck for drinking, and save the canteens for food prep. Should have boiled those macaroni and drained before adding the cheese. Good video.
I don't know a whole lot about anything but you are straight up captivating in front of a camera. A born communicator and most likely leader as well. Thank you for the content and God bless brother.
Great test of skill. This may be the best stealth camp yet. I'd like to see this more often and in different locations if that’s possible. You could make a perimeter trip cord with the trash bottles and cans as opposed to just scattering the bottles on the ground. Thanks for sharing.
Thats real good vid amigo, you should do more like this when you can. I bet your bedroll on the ground was softer than the beds they have in motel 6 too, i stayed at motel 6 one time and cried all the next day because the bed hurt my back so bad. As far as the food goes, it look good but a military MRE from a surplus store sure would come in handy in that kind of situation. Keep up the good work amigo and keep getting them boots dirty
good vid I did a LOT of stealth camping in my young years.... I saw the dumpster and thought about that ..yeah it happend to me. For alarms, I would string fishline to cans w pebbles in them it was very effective
Those pasta shells might have needed to be boiled for a bit. Also, green chile goes super well with potatoes. I made steamed ones to mash. Then add butter, green chile and sour cream, etc. Super good. I didn't know you liked Townsends. I love that channel. Been following them for at least 10 years. Great info, too. What's up with all the shoes? 😳
Nice stealth! Crazy night! Close call with the security lady. Been lightening up my gear this year. Still have the Snake Eater stamped #12. It’s been 2-3 years, and it’s still by far my favorite camp knife. One of these days when I start doing videos again I’ll shoot a long term review on it. ATB Sean
Awesome adventure, the cans and bottles was a great idea. Love Cuervo's jams throughout. Two thing I would have done, mix the taters, mac & cheese right from the start, and dipped that overly sweet waffle into unsweetened bitter coffee to balance it all out, haha, the belly wants what the belly wants for me I guess. Thank you for sharing.
I really like this video, the bottles seem like it would work, its not like tou have special forces after you. Lol. A normal joe would definitely be herd.
i always wondered how funny it looks when you set the camera down and walk away but then walk back to camera to pick it up lol release bloopers and b roll!
Just add boiling water to the noodles and let sit for about 5 minutes. Any water left, go ahead and drain it, and then add the creamy cheese pack. Just a suggestion. One other suggestion, if you don't want the real heat from any pepper, discard the seeds or save them and plant them in your garden for next year's video. God bless bro.
Great video! I wasn't at all surprised when the security staffer actually said, "Is somebody in there?" What did you decide about the microwave shells n cheese? I think the only way to make it while camping is in a metal pot or mug. I love Currvo Negro's tunes. I really liked your desert camping video with the Yucca for tarp support. I love the natural foods instructions. THAT alone is worth the watch.
Brooooo!!! The house I grew up in had 2 big beautiful mulberry trees, that was my favorite snack!! Of ALL the mulberry trees I have seen here, to include the one we had in our backyard, that is the first fruit bearing one I have seen!!!
@@JunkyardFox Thank you for making the videos. Each one is a little better than the previous one. They have a unique quality to them that interesting and enjoyable.

Very nice experience. Like your alarm system, your food is great stuff I can buy anywhere. Your stove and grill are top notch. Maybe pick up a small folding stool. Thank You. Bangkok John.
Love the new video brother and I’m rocking my new tshirt I got couple weeks ago roughly. It’s perfect!❤️ I take velveeta cups on road with me a lot love em but then again my box truck has a microwave versus boiled water over fire lol and those mashed potatoes cups are great too I just have to have butter. That spice kit you revamped is great!❤ omg another reason I like you so much your a cat lover! I’m the neighborhood crazy disabled army combat cat guy🤣. I get other random strays that come by to get a snack and say hi to me even this little prego female lately😳I have a feeling she’ll drop em raise em a little then leave em for me like other mothers have lol. I gotta get back down to Texas a what a burger darn it cause we don’t have em here in Ohio. God bless brother and Cuervo negros music❤ empty water bottle idea is genius! I’ll have to remember that if I ever get myself motivated to stealth camp around my city. I do have a spot several blocks from me I think would be neat plus creek right there area I grew up as a kid and all these years later I been back since 2014. Ok I’m shutting up it’s late and duty calls later today lol. Huh a random black high heel interesting🤣
100% a great adventure, thanks for taking us along . I picked up a couple of shirts a few weeks ago . I always get a comment when I wear one . Thanks again , y’all stay safe .
you kinda made me wanna go do some lone stealth camping. looks like fun.We used to travel Texas on the weekends and camped at walmarts. fold the back seats down in the hatchback and we had about 7 1/2 feet to play with. set the laptop on the middle console to watch a movie before bed time lol
Thoroughly enjoyed your video. For some reason I am just now discovering you but I subscribed and am anxious to go back and see what you have done in your past videos.
The mac and cheese cooks the pasta in the microwave. Then you drain the water and add the cheese just an FYI. You would have to let the pasta sit a lot longer
For the Mac and cheese, add boiling water, cover for 10 minutes. Strain water and then add your cheese and spices for best results. Alternatively if you pre cook the Macaroni noodles and then freeze dry them, they'll reconstitute faster.
Excellent video brother. I can tell you though because I'm a poor ma'fucca here's where you went wrong with that mac and cheese. It’s been 2-3 years, and it’s still by far my favorite camp knife. One of these days when I start doing videos again I’ll shoot a long term review on it. ATB Sean
I have #14😂
Awesome adventure, the cans and bottles was a great idea.
Love Cuervo's jams throughout.
Two thing I would have done, mix the taters, mac & cheese right from the start, and dipped that overly sweet waffle into unsweetened bitter coffee to balance it all out, haha, the belly wants what the belly wants for me I guess.
Thank you for sharing.
great advice!
I really like this video, the bottles seem like it would work, its not like tou have special forces after you. Lol. A normal joe would definitely be herd.
Great video. Liked your earley alarm system also. Thanks bud.
Love your gourmet cooking out there in the sticks.a walmart or heb is nearby. kudos.
Is that wild lettuce all over that lot? I know you had done that urban foraging video a bit ago. 🤷♂️ Great video! Love stealth camping videos.
yeah there was a lot of prickly lettuce and london rocket, i regret not mentioning those in the video
I noticed it too because I haven’t found any in upstate NY
That spice kit is a great idea.
Lol seeing that guy walk around with the flashlight, then the spooky music stared playing..😮
i always wondered how funny it looks when you set the camera down and walk away but then walk back to camera to pick it up lol release bloopers and b roll!
lol yeah it must look so awkward if someone was watching me lol plus i usually do several takes lol
Thank you for sharing the install and the shim tip. Blessings brother have a good week sir.
im glad you enjoyed it Brother! new vidoe coming in a few hours!
Of ALL the mulberry trees I have seen here, to include the one we had in our backyard, that is the first fruit bearing one I have seen!!!
theyre delicious!
That was a good improvised alarm system.
Thank you. I love your stealth camping videos.
Glad you like them! I’m planning an epic 3 day stealth camping vid sometime this summer
Great video friend. Hope you make more. And I always look forward to your reviews. Take care.
More to come!
We will watch and that looks fun! More stealth camping
be sure to watch my past 2 stealth camping adventures! more to come
I really enjoyed watching this video. You did a good jobs. Thanks
thanks for joining me
@@JunkyardFox Thank you for making the videos. Each one is a little better than the previous one. They have a unique quality to them that interesting and enjoyable.
They were looking for you that's my guess but great stuff
Interesting ... I''ve done some stealth camping but not in town ... traveling and trying to save money between jobs .. camping right outside of town in hidden out of sight places .. I really liked this one
Very nice experience. Like your alarm system, your food is great stuff I can buy anywhere. Your stove and grill are top notch. Maybe pick up a small folding stool. Thank You. Bangkok John.
I'm new to your channel. Absolutely love this stuff 😁
Thanks again , y’all stay safe .
awesoem buddy, i appreciate the support! new video coming in a few hours!
that green chile looks tasty cool video
Great James...
you kinda made me wanna go do some lone stealth camping. looks like fun.We used to travel Texas on the weekends and camped at walmarts. fold the back seats down in the hatchback and we had about 7 1/2 feet to play with. set the laptop on the middle console to watch a movie before bed time lol
Thoroughly enjoyed your video. For some reason I am just now discovering you but I subscribed and am anxious to go back and see what you have done in your past videos.
Excellent video
Awesome video with alot of good info. Looks like a fun night. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Good video. U need to go find a welcome sign and do it there.
Love this video
The mac and cheese cooks the pasta in the microwave. Then you drain the water and add the cheese just an FYI. You would have to let the pasta sit a lot longer
Stealth car camping next! Keep up the Chuco Pride!
For the Mac and cheese, add boiling water, cover for 10 minutes. Strain water and then add your cheese and spices for best results. Alternatively if you pre cook the Macaroni noodles and then freeze dry them, they'll reconstitute faster.
I love cats too. I go to my friend's house to stay, Clean the house, play with the cats. A recharge of sanity.
Next time put the cheese in after mac is cooked and drained. Great stealth camp vid!
