Hey Brad. Don't they say "pick your battles" or something? When your ticket says that's your seat the young lady didn't really have much wiggle room - other than perhaps trying to deflect . Cheers.
Thanks Wayne, your driver seems so sweet&definitely good to have honest&reliable driver. I am definitely an aisle person which they say is preference of introverts. Enjoy your time in Perth, cheers
@@fiascodagama1 we Indonesians would love to see how you would naturally spend your typical day in Perth. We know there would be minimal conversations compared to your vlogs in Bali, but that's the contrast we love to see. 😀
@@rufftoj You're Indonesian!? Your English is so polished I considered you to be a natural English speaker. Just back from shooting the video and ended up talking to people on the street instead of showing much. Creature of habit. :)
@@fiascodagama1 Yes I am Indonesian. Thank you but I do not speak Engish as natural as you think. Hahaha.. Anyway, your video will be up for us tomorrow? Can't wait.
LMAO at saying she was told the seats had changed when there's a diagram right above on every aisle. It's Jetstar. You literally pay to choose where you sit. She just probably thought nobody was coming and moved her seat. Nice of her to throw the staff under the bus tho.
Every time I return to Sydney airport from Bali I feel like I've just landed on another planet..a sterile odd place where the inhabitants walk around with their heads down staring hypnotically into a blue screen and look so serious. So many people but it's got no soul. It always takes me about a week to acclimatise.
Had the same feeling when I went back to Germany, even in this time the mobile phone device where not very common. So I push the reset bottom and move to Ubud Bali to live and work here with my family. That was 20 years ago and not one day of regret since then.
Hi Pam. I promise I don't recommend anyone unless I've been with them for a while and they consistently, unfailingly provide great service. Dewa is a very good, honest, professional, and humble man. Thanks, Pam.
Thanks again for such a wonderful video ❤ was getting a little worried that we hadn’t seen you for a few days 😢 Please do a video of my old home town Perth ❤ Please hurry up and get back to Bali where you belong ❤ You are such a beautiful person with the Balinese people and your Bahasa is so good ❤
Hey Bernadette, what lovely things to say - thank you. I've just finished a video in Perth to be uploaded tomorrow, and it's interesting you say "Bali where you belong" as I talk about exactly that! You must have been listening. :) Thanks again, Bernadette - I appreciate you taking the time. Cheers.
The Aussie dollar definately goes further in Bali. Last trip was on a Virgin 737 from Brissie, man that was rough. Return flight was the red eye, as we approached Brisbane the flight attendant thanked the passengers for choosing Virgin & said 'it's been a pleasure to watch you sleep' 🙂

So happy to know we'll be seeing you back in Ubud shortly. Have really been enjoying your content. Thank you. Im always mostly on the late Jetstar flight and yes sometimes the customs hall can be horrendously busy with redeye flights .😢 Enjoy Perth 😊
So happy to know you might continue to hang around and watch, Sandie. :) Air Asia red eyes from around the region into Don Meung, Bangkok, between 1am and 4 am is the worst i've experienced, I think. The new Jetstar Neo 321 planes are the best budget planes I've flown with and might lure me away from my normal Air Asia red eye.
@fiascodagama1 I totally agree about the new Jetstar Neo 321, great all rounders for the flight. YES Bangkok, I have been caught in that melee early am. 😳
Sometimes planes A is an aisle seat and sometimes a window. I once booked a seat on an airline site where I booked an aisle seat and on the plane it was a window seat. I dealt with it since it was a short flight but if had been a transpacific flight I would not have been happy.😊
Glad to see all went well with the journey. I magine the young woman who nicked your seat is covered in embarrassment at her (pretty transparent) lame excuse, gracous of you not o rub it in. Although an introvert, I prefer an aisle seat, usually seated across the aisle from my wife - suits us both, and since a large proportion of air passengers seem to travel in pairs this works well for the airlines too. Have an enjoyable time in Perth and I look forward to seeing you back in Ubud.
Hi Wayne. Welcome back. Do you ever suffer from reverse culture shock? There's probably a term for it. It's when you've spent a long time in another country and you become drenched in the culture and language to the extent you feel a part of it. I used to suffer terribly. Readjusting to our own culture may take time.
I used to really dislike the sterility and predictability, all the shiny steel and glass and work routines I saw in western living when i came back but I'm less affected these days knowing I'm not back for long and don't have to contend with it much. but yes, i know the feeling well, ed.
70 bucks wow! I haven't caught a Taxi in a while. I would have done it for 50 and could have knocked off those 2hrs at the Casino, another thing I haven't done in a long time, haha
Because I like the ability to lean my against a wall to sleep, to look out the window at take-off and landing as well as to see land formations like lakes, mountains, coastlines, sunrises etc. Windows also allow you to see what's happening outside if there's a forced landing - where the fire is, debris in the water etc. Why do you like an aisle seat?
Fiasco means a debacle, or ludicrous attempt at doing something. Vasco da Gama was one of the greatest, most accomplished explorers from history. I'm a ludicrous, ridiculous, shameful excuse of a traveler or explorer.
@ No, dear. You may not be as great as Vasco. But you are doing your bit, making your viewers entertained with information and filling their hearts, including mine with joy. God bless you.
Cheers, Aly. Very good flight tonight - I really like the new planes Jetstar are using. The Neo 321 is a really spacious, comfortable budget airliner and maybe the best I've flown on. Cheers.
Only here for four days then back to Bali Catherine so not much time to catch up with too many. And the fact is most of my people are living in Asia - that seems to be where my tribe hangs out. Good to see you.

Sudah pulang kampung ya Wayne. Kapan ke bali lagi?
Kembalilah Selasa pagi, Daniel.
What is the story with the silver person on the side of the road at 1:07? Is that a statue? never seen that on the way to airport before
There were a couple of them and while I'm not certain, I think they're like street beggars/performers you find at stop lights.
Wheres your next adventures and when Wayne?
