@@stephenkane3109 The whole Jaco album is great, I reckon. And of course Weather Report.
I’m very fascinated with the Bahasa language and Indonesia. My first attempt at any language. I went to Bali for 6 days recently and was overwhelmed with the heat and traffic. However, I fell in love with the place and its people.
Everyone is different. To me home is where my family is. Its not a physical place. Whats the point of being in the best place on earth if your away from family it means nothing
We all do have our own priorities and places that serve us best, mrporsche, that's very true.
You have a good skill set of picking interesting people and then squeezing information out of them😁. it's just a coincidence that you spoke to a French farmer and he said farms were business like in Australia. the British government is harassing the British Farmers right now. Australia produces three times the dollar value in farm produce than the uk and with half the labour force in the UK (I'm such a sticky beak I had to know why the British government was doing it)
Hi forbaldo. Why are is the British government harassing farmers? shouldn't Primary produces receive the full support of governments? I know very little about politics and the mechanisms of government but one would think the production of food for local consumption and export would be something to protect and invest in.
@@fiascodagama1 They have put an inheritance land tax on which will send about a quarter of them broke every generation. Something like that is happening here for revenue reasons . Lose the skill set for one generation and they will be begging bali for some instructions from farmers - # I think that's why I go to Bali it stops me reading thinking and worrying about this sort of stuff #
After you visit south east asia, the whole of Australia is bland .
There's just not enough chaos. :)
I love WA, so much cleaner than Bali cleaner air magnificent beaches and rivers, way less traffic great roads fantastic wine regions, I could go on and on.
I love visiting Bali but the constant scams get very draining and food prices are comparable to where I live unless you want to eat veg and rice, after a few weeks I can't wait to come home not a place I would want to live
My heart sank, I thought, oh nooo he moved back to Perth lol. I was born there but to me Perth lacks soul, unfortunately.
Hi Brie. I'm glad I'm not the only one who considers Perth a bit soulless. Perhaps one should return semi-regularly to be reminded of what they don't want.
@@fiascodagama1 I am doing my best to stay away. Hope to meet you one day. You are very amiable.
@@briechilli4496 Always look forward to meeting new people. if you're ever in Ubud...:)
I thought you would go to a different country.
Had to come back to Australia briefly, Manujohn.
Yes, it doesn’t look too exciting? Loved your interviews. Thanks for the video. Thinking that Bali is your true home. 😅
Perth is just mini Sydney now
What a strange mixed up accent that Froggie X German dude had !
Hey, Steve. Baptiste seemed to have already picked up a slight Aussie twang, hadn't he? He's a really interesting guy I thought.
@@fiascodagama1 I have to agree on that point I remember yrs ago before i moved down under encountering a half Scots / Filipino girl who lived near London who had the weirdest accent ever !
Yes i thought so. I am very skilled at picking accents, but this guy was constantly switching German/French (which I speak)
What an interesting young man Baptiste was .
