He seems to get this incredible sound with the lightest touch. Hits the snare then rests the stick on the snare head until the next upbeat. And often accentuates the snare sound with a "pshhhht" sound on the hi hat. One of my favorite drummers. Not the most flashy, but a solid and stylish drummer and an absolute hell of a singer.

I agree! My favorite performance is Somebody To Love. Phenomenal performance by the whole band. They were so tight and just locked in with the chemistry. Roger slayed in the drums and vocals.
