My singing teacher dad says when males sing from a young age to teen to adult, their voices change as for females, its the same and you hear the adult voice and the voice you make or get is the one that stays with you if you change it which is the voice your use to most so its probably the same with Roger.

Every single song on that album was gold. There wasn’t a clunker in the bunch. All four were (are) brilliant musicians who knew instinctively how to build songs that lacked for nothing.

Freddie added his own spin to it, but he did not create the familiar sound we all know is unique to Queen. Then John came along and wrapped it All up in a incredible signature bass style. They were in it together and they were a family. That's what moves me; The genuine family like connection that included spats, fights, joy, love and proactiveness. Roger and Brian have been friends for over 50 year now. How many people can say they have a friendship that has lasted that long? They even stopped talking to one another for a bit. But, they worked through it. The whole Queen story, the real story, is inspiring. I wish they all received equal recognition. These 4 specific boys are why Queen is Queen. They somehow found one another in this big old world. Thank goodness. Here's to Roger, John, Brian and Freddie.

But, Roger, Brian and John never got bent out of shape about it Then you have Rogers 5 octave range. Freddie sounded the way he did because of Rogers amazing backing/harmonizing vocals. Then you have Brians super specific sound. Without that, Freddie wouldn't have shined as much. John is an astonishing bassist. Roger created his own sound. Put them all together and you have Queen. Not Freddie Mercury and those three other guys. Noone outshined the others. Give Smile front man Tim Staphel credit, as well. The Queen sound comes from the band Smile. There's no mistaking it. Freddie added his own spin to it, but he did not create the familiar sound we all know is unique to Queen. Then John came along and wrapped it All up in a incredible signature bass style. They were in it together and they were a family. That's what moves me; The genuine family like connection that included spats, fights, joy, love and proactiveness. Roger and Brian have been friends for over 50 year now. How many people can say they have a friendship that has lasted that long? They even stopped talking to one another for a bit. But, they worked through it. The whole Queen story, the real story, is inspiring. I wish they all received equal recognition. These 4 specific boys are why Queen is Queen. They somehow found one another in this big old world. Thank goodness. Here's to Roger, John, Brian and Freddie.
