This video just saved me hours of troubleshooting.
Just bought the bad boy Magnum 54” manufactured in December 2024 And am currently fixing issue #2 from the video. The machine has 6hrs use on it. Very disappointed with all the loose components in this new model. My side plate bolts have also come off during mowing from being assembled poorly. Love Bad Boy but come on men! Keep making quality equipment please
Thanks for you comment and I am glad this helped. These comments are really appreciated to let us know that we are helping!
Awesome video,……thanks! I’m a zero turn mower newbie. I just received my 2024 Bad Boy ZT Elite yesterday and used it for the first time. It seems to be tracking to the right. I’m going to use it a few more times and then adjust it based on your instructions. Keep up the great work and you just gained a new subscriber!
Glad I could help, thanks for subscribing and watching!
Thank you this straight forward, no fumbling & bumbling video! It was extremely informative & helpful!
You're welcome!
This helped Me a lot thanks
You're welcome!
Very helpful! Thanks for sharing.
No problem
Great video. , customers need more videos on BADBOY mowers grease fitting locations on the different models, belt. Tension, using belt tension gauge, put a maintenance sticker and parts sticker under the seat would be a great help.
Good thoughts. Thanks for watching. It would be good to put out more videos post purchasing the mower.
Thanks for a great video. I learned a lot from it.
Glad it was helpful!
Related question: When my 2023 ZT Elite was brand new the left and right steering pushrods were super tight on the joints down by the transmission. Now they are all 'floppy' banging on the frame etc. I took to my local dealer and they swapped them under warranty as well as a hack job piece of plastic. These rods bang against the frame in that area. Is there a fix to get that bottom joint on the link arm to be tight again?
Awesome! Thank you very much.
You're welcome!
Just bought an 24 zt elite 48in Kohler7000 n really need this video my deal was great about everthing be doubke chexked an tight but informative stuff like thisnis always an great videos herd these bad biys even other modles have problems with throttle cables n even choke cable where is vaxically touching exhaust manifold or summing there near it where gets hot over time an melts the plastic outta wrap on cables on tonthe cables makijg em freeze up an wont move an when do force it it will snap break an causes failures n ya herd wanna strip first 2 3 feet of the black plastic protector off them both up to 2 half 3 feet to ensure this donest happen or maybe re rought the cables where isnt soncloae to hot hot engine exhaust parts lol but whenever i glaced at mines new one dont seem ve any other way could rought en sure an different brands cables maybe better at nit melting also
Great video. I was trying to find an answer for this and there don't seem to be a lot out there. Gets to the point, easy to understsand and not a bunch of fluff in between. For the second nut adjustment, why not just put a washer and lock-nut on there? Seems like it's going to keep vibrating loose?
That would make sense, thanks for watching.
Thanks! Loose tracking bolt it was.
Glad we could help!
Since these nuts and bolts are subject to lots of vibration, wouldn’t a dab of blue loctite or even a lock washer work?
Yes that would work
when are we going to see steering wheel zero turn like cub cadet
I don't think there is any plan for that
How about some lock tite or a non slip bolt. I’m shopping for a zero turn, and little stuff like that makes me wonder if anything is made bullet proof anymore.
That would be a good way to go.
So my question is, why not use a collared bolt with a Nylock so that it doesn't tighten it up too tight but tightens it up tight enough that you won't lose nut? Poorly engineered?....
Hopefully bad boy see this.
The owners manual sucks in explaining tracking adjustments
Hope this helped.
