Thanks. I have a Craftsman Z6000, and this video helped. When I pushed the levers all the way forward, the mower would turn towards the left. When stationary, the left lever handle was about two inches behind the right lever handle. It has a forward facing set screw on each side, below, and towards the outside of the seat. That's what stops the forward movement of the lever. The levers have adjustment bolts similar to the one in this video that I used to line up the handles. Now, when I push the levers forward, they both stop evenly, and I move straight forward at maximum speed. I turned left and right and backed up while turning, and everything was perfectly even. I really thought this would be much more complicated, like adjusting a cable or tightening a belt. Thanks again. Now mowing the lawn will be a little more enjoyable.
H B 0 seconds ago I just purchased the 75750 only for my home. I couldn't believe it! I almost landed in the street on a decline! I used it for 1.7 hours being very careful operating when I turn left to go back it just slides like ice down the hill. Our yard is mostly flat except for the front with a slope of more than 10% in front that I tried to stay away from. I was ready to jump off to the left. I locked the brake quickly thank God no damage!
My Exmark Quest 42" 2014 has pulled to one side ever since it was new. But I always just thought it was tire pressure and it didn't pull enough to one side to really bother me until recently. With tire pressure all equal it still does it so I'm gonna try this adjustment next. I hope it's this easy and similar on my make and model. Thanks
Great video. I have a Toro Timecutter 75750. Is changing the gear oil a regular maintenance item? If so, can you make a video showing how it's done? Thank you
I have the Toro Timecutter 50. Will you all be doing a video on how to level the deck. With the way the adjustments are made it seems impossible to get it level. It seems that the 18" rear tires it comes with are too small.
You're actually taking the transaxle out of the neutral position by turning that nut on the rod. That should be adjusted with the engine running and wheels off the ground. You will tear up a transaxle by running it partly in reverse which is what that does.
@mainstreetmower Can you do one of these for the 2024 Timecutter Max? I just picked mine up and she pulls left but there aren't the cams as illustrated here.
I have a toro titan zx48. I seems like the reverse speed is to fast if I’m on a slight incline in reverse the wheels break traction and I just spin. How do I slow down the reverse speed? TIA!
How often does the factory under fill those transmissions and they end up going bad? and there is no quick way to check the oil in the small one sadly...
Question, the arms on the toro I noticed on mine one side (left) goes to park and there’s a little bit of resistance and it feels right but the right side comes to neutral way too easy.. what could that be or is that normal?
My stepdad has an older 74327 mower, I can't find anywhere one it which nuts might correspond with the ones you're showing. Right side doesn't go forward at all!
Doesn't work on a 74360 model Z4200 older Toro Timecutter. The left side will rotate ifnits up in the air but as soon as it's on the groundnut won't turn. Right side runs great
"you can make a fast side slower but you can't make a slow side faster" makes no sense. So, if I make the fast side too slow, it is now the slow side. Thus, I can't make the slow side faster? I had this problem. I simply made the slow side faster. Why would I want to decrease the overall speed of my mower by slowing the fast side? Mowers advertise speed. I recommend trying to increase the slow side first.
First you say you have to speed up the left hand side because it's veering to the left. Then you say you can't speed up you can only slow down. Then you show with your hand veering from left to right which was not the original problem. Then you say it's veering to the left so you have to slow down the left side? WTF? I'm totally confused! Or is it you are confused? LOL!

This is awesome. Anyone looking for instructions on how to do it on a Craftsman would really benefit from it. Thank you for sharing.

The
Best explanation and clearest examples I've seen yet. Straightforward and to the damn point- thank you, grabbing my wrenches now! 🥰
Awesome. Glad the video helped.
Thank you for making this video I have a Time cutter, and watching this video solved my tracking issue.
Love to hear that. Glad to be of service 🤠
Thank God for this video, straight to the point
Glad you liked it 🙂
Thank you really appreciate it beats hauling zero turn back to the dealer for something simple.
Awesome. We're glad this helped.
Absolutely, love the video, mate, no BS straight to it, thank you very much.
Glad you liked it Michael. Thank you for watching.

That's scary!

Did this ever work for your Exmark?

Very helpful!
Thanks for sharing this video.
You're welcome Geoffrey ☺
Can you make a video on how to adjust steering and tracking on a 2023 Toro Titan? And adjusting the hydro speeds? Thanks.
Thank you! Great instruction! Really appreciate!
just bought a new toro timecutter and could not figure out why one side was going faster than the other. Thank you.
Now you got it. Hope that helped 🙂
I have a 74702...where would the adjustment be for my machine? Thanks in advanced i really appreciate it 👍

That's a good topic. We didn't have that on our plans but we will definitely put out something explaining that. Thank you for the suggestion 🙂
Thank you very good explanation and video,
Thank you for watching Saleem 😀
It really is just that simple.
Ours seems to be going straight, but the handles are not lining up evenly, we were told this is common from our dealer? Any insight on this?
Do you have a video for the Titan or is it the same setup?

On it. Stay tuned video should drop within the next few days.

Do these steps apply to toro timecutter Z5060? Having a pretty rough time with this ol' thing, don't have the money for a new mower right now 😑
My Toro Time cutter z4235 doesn't have either of these options. Any suggestions on how to adjust this model?
Hey Ryan, if you could get me your 5 digit model number off the white sticker on the frame, underneath the seat, I can get you any answer on that
So 11mm wrench or socket to adjust the cam bolt under the seat, or 1/2” wrench for the “throttle” under the back. 👍
Was wondering about the same thing.
How often does the factory under fill those transmissions and they end up going bad? and there is no quick way to check the oil in the small one sadly...
I have a 2020 75742 timecutter how do I add oil to my transmission
Just purchased a toro 75750 time cutter. What is your recommended tire pressure front and rear for this model
15-18 PSI in the rear and 28 PSI in the fronts
Should be noted to double check your tire pressures are even before doing this adjustment.
Is there an adjustment if it doesn't reverse evenly? I can now get it to drive forward straight but reverse is way off
Yeah same with mine.
Question, the arms on the toro I noticed on mine one side (left) goes to park and there’s a little bit of resistance and it feels right but the right side comes to neutral way too easy.. what could that be or is that normal?
There's a tension bolt that lets you control the resistance of each arm. You can fine tune them to make them feel similar.
@@mainstreetmower where would that be? Is it close to that piece to adjust the tracking?
Great video Thanks
Thank you. I am glad you liked it.
Great job, thank you
You're welcome. Thanks for watching 🙂

I appreciate the video.I have a ex mark and it’s the same.
Great video
Thank you 🙂
Should be done my manufacture or Dealer that’s the speed adjustment, left or right.
Good, Thx
You're welcome 🙂
Thank you.

I'm not sure what you mean by tracking?
Thanks

👍👍👍👍👍👍
Im guessing that helped ☺
alpine made the downed shift.
Psh what toro dont go straight 🤔

Thank you, I just bought a 42 cutter Toro
I understand your point... but hey - now you know how to do it... right?
@@blessedwithchallenges9917 only thing you have to watch for, be careful of, is you sync both sides too fast, there won't be a true neutral :)
