LEGO 1992 Mail Order Catalog!

there's something about the early to mid 1990's minifig faces. they were obviously just the regular smile face print but with added detailing (glasses,facial hair etc).

Yes - keeping it closer to the original! I love all the designs and diversity nowadays in modern lego sets. But they don't have as much 'lego' feel to them, they're closer to a type of action or doll toys than original legos were.

I got my blackknights castle and my sea shepherd sets from my friends grandma she didnt want them anymore because they were collecting dust

This one and only catalog is the reason why some people call the lion knights crusaders. The were never called that before or since in any offical capacity.

Yeah, you're right! The other catalog (1991) just lumps a bunch of the castle sets together as 'Castle'

I always loved the dioramas. To go back and buy a ton of those Castle and Pirates minifig packs though, if only.
