@@yigaboii2254pick a brick is a pretty good way to army build. In fact it’s probably the best way to do that. At the moment they are out of stock but should be back in stock by mid January.
I remember sending a letter to Lego when I was like eight, asking then to expand on the castle theme (this was like, middle of the fantasy era, before they introduced the trolls and dwarves) Loved it then and I love it now. They really do need more love
And lay off their token feminazism. Would rather see a fun female weaver or a damsel than let them take away my knights and turn them into women for absolutely no actual reason. Keep traditionally female roles positive, Lego. You're just telling girls what they SHOULD like. Vile.
Love it! The figures and side-builds are fab. I’m impressed you managed to achieve quite a diverse look across each faction using mostly only very minor changes to helms, capes and legs. The end result is very classy.
that wall design from the black falcons is quite similar to the uruk hai army set. i had multiple of those and you could connect it to the helms deep set, which looked awesome.
I think that for castle battlepacks you should use 6-8 figures (banner, archer, heavy knight cape, 1-2 heavy knight without cape and 2-3 troops) because for original themes 4 figures are for 10$ sets and usualy battlepacks are in 20$ range. Also the builds should be more amassable eg. wall with small tower imbeded in it in style of the faction + horse.
These look GREAT! The Gamorrean guard legs go really well with the CMF orcs. At $3 a piece that might get expensive for a whole army. I just went and bought 20 before the idea catches on, lol. Only guy that had more than a couple was in Poland. Who knows how long it'll take to get here 🤷♂. Excellent video! Thanks!
I can see the similar to ninjago "packs" where you get a ninja or two and two goons, is what we'd see. and a mini combi build brickbuilt. pretty much waiting for a troll/orc version of that/those sets as I bought their previous iterations. and who'd not love more orcs?
I love your Fright Knights, and I would love to see a Lore Video on them. I even have an Idea: They lived first on a new Continent East of the Main Continent wich is covered in Lush Woods and they where first a normal human Kingdom but then they had a promise to a witch wich they broke so the Witch cursed them and Bazil and some other high ranking Fright Knights turned into Vampires. Would love to see something like that!
I love these ideas. Castle has always been one of my two favorite LEGO themes (along with Classic Space). I have an original Basil from a polybag I bought back in the 90s, along with a handful of other Fright Knights, and I expect to get the re-release Vampire Knight variant. I have 2-3 of the CMF Orcs, along with a handful of the original Fantasy Era figs (can't remember how many). I have a bunch of Black Falcon and Lion Knights figure parts from Pick-a-Brick last year. I could field an army of 2-dozen or so of each. Sadly, I only have one Tournament Knight, so I won't be building too many Black Ravens. I'd love to see that faction given a proper release.
@@Goldfyre It would sure make people like you and I happy, that's for sure. If only there was a "Suggestions Box" near the BAM station at my local LEGO store? Heh. Maybe I'll bug the manager about it. She's always kind enough to return my emails... 🤔
I like the idea of the pearl dark grey helmets for the black falcons it looks nice also you should make some lore for the bear knight factions I would love to see that
Love these! I always love that i'm not the only one that uses the Black Falcons as the enemy. My son decided that the Black Falcons are the "bad guys" of our castle universe and we haven't looked back since! lol
love these! i think that a small amour and weapon cate would go really well with all of the builds, just to get more variety in your army, great video though keep it up :)
Ooh! For the bow for the Fright Knights Archer, the new Kate Bishop minifigure from Marvel CMFs has a new bow mold perfect for him! And Hawkeye from the same series has one in reddish brown too!
Your channel has been the biggest inspiration for me building my own medieval fantasy army. I followed the ideas you used for the archer on the black ravens to create a army of Dragon knights ( the green ones from the early 2010s)
I don't understand why people keep the black/dark red hands for all the Raven/Fright knights minifigs when making regular soldiers. They look much better with yellow hands. It looks dumb when all you change are just legs or helmet and keep them all looking like some clones. Also you could do MUCH MUCH MORE with the orcs.
Great builds! Id highly recommend using the silver spring loaded shooter bolt from the mandalorian set Trouble On Tatooine to make it that much better!
Very good. It'd be AMAZING if LEGO released official Castle battle packs. These ones you made seem possible as well. Often custom battlepacks are unrealistic with too many minifigures, or builds that would never be found in an official set. If you're not happy with the bow for the fright knights archer, you could use the one from the new Hawkeye from Marvel CMF series 2. A bit less modern looking, so could fit the theme. Great vid
Ok you convinced me I’m army building fright knights there sick , love your idea of use 2013 dragon knights I think using the new black arms Viking torsos mix in would look great with them too , have a great day 👍
good exept the fright knights knights torsos are inaccurate with the Bat Lord torso, also kind of funny I used those same legs for my custom fright knight knights, I also used the Mando's cape for my bat Lord since I only have the version that didn't include the cape
Here’s my idea for the next medieval theme (if they ever make a proper one) they introduce the standard 2 new faction maybe add a few more down the line but… there is a sub line in more of a battle pack style they make a “tournament” line they use this to keep old factions around while still making new ones. They couldn’t make all the old factions at once but they could have a rotating lineup. Good army builders and keeps the prints circulating.
DUDE these are all amazing 😮 I wish lego would do something like this because they would sell so much $$$. If they don't make a Medieval line of sets than DEFINITELY should make similar packs. Amazing work 👏
Why are you bullying the black falcons bro
they had it coming

I wish Lego would focus on fantasy/castle more they have such a big fanbase. What you do is awesome and I'm glad I've been around since the start.
I have a suspicion that lego is catching on to the ever growing castle community's wishes.
@@Goldfyre I completely agree

Would 100% buy them if they were real
Same
Me too
Same
Same lol
I'd only buy them if lego stopped pricing battle packs at ridiculous $20 price points
Please put these on Ideas. If we all support and reach 10k, maybe, just maybe, Lego will get the message. Well done - these look amazing.
Agreed
Ideas explicitly bans minifigure packs, accessory packs, and battle packs.
I would die for LEGO to start the Castle series again.. Great video, as always! Would defo buy these battle packs if they were real.
Not same
Medieval armies usually had more regular soldiers than knights. So 1 Archer, 2 melee soldiers with polearms and 1 knight may be more balanced.
Orcs are my favorite lego castle faction
Why can't Lego do something this cool?
If you grab a 1x4 tile and a minifigure stand, you can make a more realistically shaped pavise
A castle wall for a battle pack is genius
and has precedent in many battlepacks so could work well.
You can also use a minifigure display plate for the big shield
Love it! The figures and side-builds are fab. I’m impressed you managed to achieve quite a diverse look across each faction using mostly only very minor changes to helms, capes and legs. The end result is very classy.

You should submit these to Lego ideas as a two pack example:orcs and black falcons or vampire knights and raven knight
Imagine being in a classic Lego Knights battle and some dude pulls out a compound bow.
This is absolutely spectacular, I love the figures and builds. Any chance you'll do a part 2 with some more factions? Perhaps Lion Knights?
I plan on making more of these for sure!
@@Goldfyre That's fantastic, can't wait to see what you make next 😁
Man these look so cool. I can imagine their respective battlepack box on the shelves with each distinctive colors 👌💯
I’d buy like apromaxtly fifty of these

Hope Lego is watching this. Great battle packs! Would like to see the Wolf bandits and other factions too :)
These battle packs are AWESOME 🥳🥳🥳
