Any bigger and your fps would probably have gone negative.
+Jared Glabau AND THEN THE UNIVERSE STARTED GOING BACKWARDS lol
+Jared Glabau You mean that would cause a singularity because time paradox? xD
tried to run Rome 2 Total War on a 7 year old laptop once for lols... It ran at 1 frame every-other second
Jared Glabau hahaha
the secret to time travel, REVEALED
everyone within a 3 mile radius was instantly vaporized when that rocket took off
Atleast it was painless.
In a giant smoke ring :D
3 light year*
You should’ve seen Bradley Whistance’s empire SSTO. The smoke plume was visible from space.
The water tower and flag took it like a beast
If I tried this my computer would have burst into flames
just like the Rocket ;D
True.....
+Nathaniel Derpington Yeah
it would of nuked the city.
Yeah
So, can you see it in orbit from the ground?
Lol
@Opecuted They would come up with some bullshit excuse like "It's just a projection!"
Fr fr
Hey NASA just called, they want their supercomputer back.
Underrated comment
LOL!!!
Robert Truax proposed a rocket that was almost in the same weight class in real life (though his was a "mere" 18,000 tons). The idea was to save money by building a relative low tech rocket but to give it (greater than) Saturn V payload simply by making it absolutely gigantic. There was no way that KSC could have supported such a large rocket so Truax's solution was to build it in a shipyard and then float it out to sea where it would launch from the water.
A nuclear powered aircraft carrier would have been borrowed from the Navy & the power of its reactor would have been used to make liquid oxygen and hydrogen from seawater on site before the launch. After being fueled up the rocket would be tilted upright and then shot off into space.
This idea seems like something out of Kerbal Space Program, but Truax was an engineer on the submarine launched Polaris missile which was tremendously successful, and feasibility studies conducted by TRW suggested that the idea was fundamentally sound. However, it was an idea that was too radical & the upfront costs too high for it to make it past the design stage.
It was called the Sea Dragon i think.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_Dragon_%28rocket%29
That's the one! Real life is almost as funny as KSP sometimes.
your ksp rocket looks like a fiery Christmas tree XD
David Thompson The sea dragon? oh i know that.
Its a mod for ksp or atleast it was
I like how in real-time it was more than 10 seconds before the first second ticked.
He's using a mod to slow the physics calculations and the game down to 10%, he just forgot to speed it back up during editing :)
Gameslinx I doubt that... It's known as *lag*
No there is actually an option for it.
It slows the game down so the physics checks are spread over a longer time while retaining a high framerate. So basically it's slower, but it's smooth and not laggy.
@@fotoschopro1230 whats the mod?
@@clayel1
It's in the games settings.
"What they didn't think about was all the depleted engines raining down over Kerbel cities. Hundreds died and thousands were injured as engine, after engine, after engine rained from the heavens."
Please tell me you plan to recreate one of these insane launches on 1.1 just to test the 'improvements' :P
Thats definitely been on my mind :)
Its going to be more difficult to pack enough Mammoth engines together though, they insta- overheat if they as much as touch each other after 1.05 :(
What about 1.8.1
0:56 - "There is nothing concerning about this vessel"
+12345DJay Well... Kerbals
filipinordabest i realised that the Kerbal's mindset is shockingly close to idiotic modern day teenagers.. and we let them fly to space.. we are cruel
12345DJay What better way to teach idiots a lesson then to let everything go wrong?
@@12345DJay ok boomer
Nah, it’s just the rockets gimbal system
0:11 420 Kerbodyne tanks. Fuel capacity: 9000 metric tons of weed!
Ha ha you're hilarious.
*I'm being sarcastic btw*
0:57 5000 parts flying in loose formation with a common goal: to kill the kerbal on top of the whole thing.
That rocket is Extra
*T H I C C*
(That joke had to be made sorry)
Lmao
I love how he uses 90% of the thrust just to get into orbit
its a christmas tree..
LMFAO
It would vaporise your house though
More like a n1
0:11 that's one dank rocket
hahaha
I was like "this isnt so bad", Then i found out it was hollow, YOU ABSOLUTE MADMAN!
Meanwhile on the Mun:
“Mission control, she looks normal sized from here”
-Jedediah Kerman
Heheh. 420
***** dayum bruh
windows_x_seven from the future. No. It fucking scorched it with 117 fucking rockets.
Kerbal Administration: How many rockets will you need for this mission?
Player: Yes.
My computer explodes when I open chrome
Lmfao this is so relatable 😂 Who did this😂
Running at a buttery smooth 5 FPS.
"largest rocket in ksp"
Me who uses one of these things as the side boosters: " *puny mortal* "
FPS like 1 frame per hour
@@blakethaboss5120 1 frame per day*
@@thenativemartian5169 if I used a chrome book it would be like hmm 1 frame per week take it or leave it
@@blakethaboss5120 sounds about right
Me saying in my head: *All of this just to get into orbit?*
Lol true
I had launched a stock craft (no stacked/interfering parts either) of 8k ton in version 0.23. It achieved slightly over 1k tons to orbit after many, many attempts. It also had over 1k struts. I will try for a very large one to compete with yours when I complete the campaign in 1.0...
+Nicolas Renold i cant beleve it
All engines running. Liftoff! We have a liftoff ... 32 minutes past the hour, liftoff on Pollution 11.
2:35 but that's my normal framerate!
Each stage this thing leaves behind is a nuclear bombing on the planet below
Not Enough rockets.
Of course since the name is mountain king, you had to put "in the hall of mountain king" lol
I wonder if this thing would have its own non-insignificant gravitational pull in space.
The first stage just looks like a giant flying Christmas tree with 3 flaming rings around it 🤣
Its pretty much a N1 at steroids
I love that he fired part of the second stage during liftoff.
NASA called, they want their supercomputers back
fun fact:this rocket made on real life can trasport 1000 ton to orbit
While a super rocket is launching
This dudes computer is goated
Must of been a pain to stage.
*massive casualties*
*massive debris fallback into various cities across the earth*
*massive debt*
His Pc probably started melting after pressing the Spacebar
It wouldn't have been difficult to control all rockets for one KERBONAUT
420 Kerbodyne tanks...
420 time to burn!!!
Imagine intentionally crashing this into the hanger
One of the more awesome KSP videos I've seen, glad you re-uploaded it!
How is it that when I make a small ity bity rocket my fps dies and when this guy makes this the fps dos not giv a poop? I just watched further and apparently his fps is at the same as mine.
I tried making a big rocket by putting 12 mk3 tanks around the center 3.75m stage and I connected everything by struts and pipes, but this is much bigger.
You should've wrapped it in a fairing lol
how do you cna build highter than the space station ?i dont know how to build highter :(
bruh one separation is enough to decimate an entire city
Looks like the Soviet N1 lunar rocket that failed.
Alex Landherr just really b i g
That rocket would be 10x more powerful than SpaceX Starship. Imagine if NASA built a 2,500 ft high rocket almost as tall as the Burj Khalifa and launched it up into space.
N-1L3 rocket ❌
N-2 rocket❌
N-3 rocket❌
N-4 rocket✅
How are you not getting a negative framerate?! That thing is MASSIVE!
man i am really sorry but...... i can build a taller one than you my first, second, third and fourth stage barely fits in and the rest of the other 4 are in the basement and i obviously took 3 months building this. It has a total of 1,9992838,199839 engines so sorry man
if it weight 36ktons
and its thrust was 47ktons.....
it could have easily carried my mun‚ duna‚ laythe‚ eeloo rockets combined as payload lol
This rocket can get oort cloud
This is larger than the Soviet N-1 Moon Rocket.
Yes it’s a real rocket look it up.
Oh and it had the worst man made rocket explosion in the history of space flight.
Looks like the newest made Soviet N-2 Mars Rocket
Time to rerender this launch on a thread ripper with an RTX2080 or EVGA GTX2060-RO (Rare card with extra fpu cores)
What kind of FPS did you get launching this? i mean... i find about 1000 parts will cripple just about any computer
You see, when it comes to weight, there is no in between with TurboPumped...either ridiculously light or, as the case may be, ridiculously heavy
I can only imaginge the noise my computer would make if I tried to launch that.... probably similar to tearing steel plates in half, then setting them on fire.
if i tried to launch this, my PC would probably go "nope, fuck you, fuck this, im out" and just blow itself up
i build the twin towers and flied planes into them. Damn that already lagged a LOT
how da fuk does it fly???
Looks like kraken bait to me
This absolute leviathan has beaten out every single craft in my empress line. Congratulations
Thats a high frame rate for a giant ship in a massive game. What are your specs?
HAHAHA, Wouldn't have been easier just use nukes like lift off like the Orion project intended?
There is no possibility that that rocket should have survived even 2 seconds. It's just ridiculously proportioned.
An I the only person to realise the connection between the name and the music if you don't get it search up "In the hill of the mountain king."
you know... shipping it up in 5-6 parts might have been better
Kerbals: Run for your life, debris is on its way!!
why did they launch it! we already have a rocket coming down to egypt!
Did you capture all the frames with shadowplay and then re-render it to be so smooth? Is that even possible? How did you get the footage?
record with 1 fps - play with 30x speed
that's so smart
That's not what he's doing, there's no time warp involved ( at least not pre-editing)
Sorry, I just found this video after making one containing quite similar content. It's not my fault the Mountain King is such a good name for the music and the rocket hehe.
Oh please I’ve made a 50000 ton rocket just never could launch it or it would crash me
you can get pc that can do super computer worth of frames per seconds few billions frames per second studying pcs
I was genuinely surprised when it didn't explode instantly during take-off
I'd dis the calculations on fuel consumption and total fuel and it came out to a frocking massive amount wtf!
My computer has problems running a tiny rocket you ran this with moderate to no lag jesus
This rocket looks like it could vaporize entire KSC by accident xD
its so big that mammoth engines which are the biggest even with dlcs act like vernier RCS thrusters
One more fuel tank and frames per second wold turn into seconds per frame
you sure are bloody insane and briljant. you desiver an applaus www.reactiongifs.us/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/picard_clapping.gif
HOW THE FUCK DO YOU NOT RUN THIS AT 2 FRAMES PER HOUR?!
Should have used Procedural parts, although I assume it was actually the engines causing most of the slow down as even inactive lots of engines on a model seem to slow things down inordinately there is a mod though that will enable you to have multiple engines that are just 1 model to solve that though. It was a mod I used to make a BRF as even 32 engines brought my KSP down to like 3 - 5 fps.
is damage turned off cuz alot of that stuff hit pretty hard and did'nt blow up
I can't believe I'm asking this, but can you land it on tylo?
If you had a mouth big enough to smoke that. You would probably become the next snoop dog.
It would be like Wiz Khalifa smoking the Burj Khalifa. Of weed.
It's kind of weird to realize that doing a launch like this is actually way better than many individual launches, even if it does take 50 minutes to reach orbit.... Because to get that same amount of mass into orbit through many individual launches, it probably takes more real life time combined than just doing this one 50 minute launch. :O
you must have destroyed a small town with all the debris you dropped off
no need for the giant rocket if your only gonna put it in ORBIT.
I dont think N.A.S.A. can run this rocket on there giant panels
Nice! Can you upload the rocket file somewhere?
you spent all the money on these rockets and thats why now you have to use 2 ton sstos 😄
Guys look in description to see what song is called
I believe we can all agree that we need to name this the computer killer.
i think my computer wouldve launched itself into space
I would die if the pay load was a mono wheel rover for the mun.
