Both my parents divorced when I was 9 or 10 but they always agreed on things when it came to me, and all the fighting that lead to the divorce stopped once they actually split up. They are still on very good terms and consider each other friends to this day. I consider this a huge part in why my parents divorce was much easier and not as big of a deal as many of my friends or peers parents who also got divorced.
