Claire, a painters tip. When taping off an area and you don’t want seepage, simply paint along the edge of the tape (with white if on blank canvas, I do this on back when taping off) Once dry you can then do your painting and you will have a perfectly sharp edge. This works for wall painting as well, just paint the edge with whatever color is UNDER the taped area. This is the color that will seal the edge, and not show when tape is removed. 😃
@@dianeh2420 oookayy. Apologies for sending a comment meant to pass along a tip that I truly thought would be appreciated.. MY COMMENT was intended to be helpful. Apparently your intent was to be a know it all, and make me feel foolish. Well done.
The Dutch is my favourite. You know what I would love to see after seeing this? The same setup with the triangles but do a Dutch pour in all of them in alternating directions. I think that would look wicked cool and so pretty.
Oh, that’s a hard choice. Painting turned out absolutely gorgeous. If I have to pick I would go the blowout, Swipe for my top two they’re all just so beautiful
Thank you so much for the inspiration. I stopped painting for several months because my studio is in the garage and the summer heat was too much. This is amazing. You have given me the desire to start again!❤
Omg Claire, this is amazing. My favourites would have to be the dutch pour and straight pour. I loved your colour scheme and showing all the different techniques is fabulous. Love your work, as per usual, thanks Claire ❤
I just love them. I’ll probably the middle panel your Dutch poor that you use the blow dryer with. But without the rest of them….they….. I just think they look so wonderful.
Love this project. I love the middle blow out one and purple, turquoise cell one best. Squigly straight line one.. sorry they are all stunningly beautiful. Thanks for sharing this experiment with us.
I’m supa-dupa impressed. What I ❤ is the way the centre pour is really the centrepiece. It flows to the left and right, as if it’s nurturing its ‘babies’ on either side. Thank you again for inspiring me. ❤❤❤
Ohhh this gives me so many ideas! Beautiful color palette too! The Dutch Pour section has my heart. My instinct would have been to blow it in the opposite direction (from the peak towards the wider area) but you made the absolute right choice. Gorgeous!
My favourite is the middle with blowdryer but least favourite are the outer smaller areas. They are all beautiful and I love the cells. I appreciate you having difficulty with the one. I have only seen you showing the trouble I had the same issue with my first try. Dumped it 4 times. Thank you. I can’t wait to set up my space properly and try more projects!!!
WoW I Love the first pour. It really does look like a piece of wood. But my absolute favorite is.. The whole masterpiece! Altogether, the piece is cohesive and absolutely amazing. Congrat's Claire. Youre brilliant ❤
Absolute geniuse! Your colour scheme is soothing and vibrant at the samee time . Pyramid shape perfect for this project. All technics were extremely well done but I do love the dutch pour . Your instructions are so easy to follow with a pleasing voice. I am really going to try this beautiful piece of art . Many thanks!
We thoroughly enjoyed watching you create this beautiful piece. As a newbie to pour painting I love that you explain, but not over explain, if you know what I mean. 🥰 Your colour choices were spot on! 🩵💜
WOW! What an Amazing project! I love all the sections but the Dutch pour may be on the top of my list. I'm so glad you decided on the silver in the end and using a black marker was so smart!! You are VERY clever and creative! Thank you for your time!!❤❤
Boy oh boy. So much work. Its outstanding ❤ my favourite part is the one on the right side of the Dutch pour. The one you did first. You are a fantastic artist
This is a beautiful piece overall. The colors you chose work so great together. Also, they happen to be my favorite colors, so I am biased. I look forward to watching more of your videos now that I have found your channel.
Folks have said it all here, so much better than I can. I just wanted to say what an amazing painting you've done! Fantastic idea and a truly stunning result. Congratulations, Claire!
This was a big project and you can see just how much you put into this piece. The contrast between the 7 different techniques. So cool! You are an inspiration ❤
Absolutely gorgeous!!!! I LOVE the blending of the pastels....so subtle but they capture your attention and hold it. When you started mixing some of the colors, I really wondered how you could take two complimentary colors and mix them w/o ending up with brown or black. I loved the background enough that it was sufficient by itself. Thank you for showing us a " new" technique! Glad I found your site!!!! 🩷🧡💛💚💙💜🤍
The flip cup pour with all the cells is my favorite! This is truly beautiful. I would have done the separator lines in the darkest blue color though - exceptionally done! LOVE IT❣️
It’s such a beautiful representation of so many techniques. Invaluable to a beginner (and not so beginner as well😊). I would have liked the zig zag of the tape to be darker but overall it is such a thing of absolute beauty! Thank you for taking the time and effort to guide us through.
Love this project and the color combinations. Think it's a bit ambitious for 'beginner's". Unique, different from the normal dutch pour we see. Thank you.
Awe Claire I miss watching you, I hope everything is going well for you and your Family. I love this triangle painting, I couldn't pick a favorite, they are all just beautiful. So glad to be seeing "reruns", I had never seen this one before! ❤
Oh that is amazing I like the whole thing but the flip cup, the chameleon and the ribbon pour held my attention the longest, but the entire project was fantastic, thanks for sharing this.

I will always choose the dutch pour because of how the colors flow and blend into each other. Brilliant experiment. Great job. I love a lot of them.
Thank you 😊
You have such patience. I love the middle but a great effort all around.
Thank you! 😊
