In some ways, that the corvette is so inexpensive it signals the end of the super car as we know it. After all why spend hundreds of thousands more for similar or slightly better performance. I’m hoping as a result we see the high end manufacturers using technology to return to the days of making every car one of a kind and focusing on driver experience rather than just relying on horsepower.
In no ways is it the end of the supercar, yes you can get similar performance for much less money. But that's not the point of owning a Lamborghini or a Ferrari.
Those expensive sport cars are in trouble when they drop the higher performance models... chevy is not to far behind with performance(if not better when z06 or zr1 drop).... bargain price and better reliability

Wow! Matt, thanks for sharing this video with us. This has to be a very special ride, indeed one to remember. The design of the car both outside and interior is so modern and at the same time futuristic. Doug de muro?
As long as the car doesn't have problems, this is a home run for GM. Excellent performance and quality for the money!
I like how it looks except for the back of it looks cheap like a Comoro needs round Corvette tail lights in my opinion
Ok boomer
o k dude gives an honest opinion about the car based on a personal preference and your response is “ok boomer.” You’re a moron.
Ok boomers
Then it would basically be a ferrari
Ah what I have been waiting for! That blue is so hot. So cool you can see the engine. I wonder if they can address that dash lag with a software update. Wow the built in camera is an awesome feature. Great review Matt!
Rated R Cars thanks for stopping by man!
Needs a bloody manual and I don't care what anyone says 🤨😕
Jimbo Because Chevy has acted like a puppy dog for years trying to run with the big dogs (Ferrari) and mimicking them, they won’t do the manual. They’re too fixated on and too much in “wannabe” mode.
If you want a manual you can still buy a Camaro SS or ZL1
best reviewer on youtube the only guy who isnt annoying and likes wings/spoilers
Good review and Shmee in the pass seat. You're having way too much fun.
That Rapid Blue looks fantastic!
Wow! Matt, thanks for sharing this video with us. This has to be a very special ride, indeed one to remember. The design of the car both outside and interior is so modern and at the same time futuristic. With 0-60 time around 3.0 seconds and as stable it is around corners etc., I think the Z06 version with more HP might make it more squirmy and not as stable. This may be the version to stick with.
A little late seeing this one but of all the recent C-8 impressions videos I've seen lately yours takes the cake Matt, very enjoyable & filled with details I am interested in!
Thanks Vinnie, I'm glad you liked it!
