That view is incredibly convincing, which I thing proves your point about how good the Metcalf building’s look but also how adaptable they are if you just use a bit of imagination. It’s like anything else like wagons or fences or bridge girders: just because it was designed to be used specifically for something doesn’t mean you can’t hack it about and change it! 😜
Love the inglenook. The buildings look great and I love the background scenery. I like especially the background view from under the pass through bridge. It gives the layout a very realistic look from my POV. Great Job!! Good luck in transporting it to the train show. All the best.
Absolutely love this layout concept. If you don't already have a name in mind for it, might I suggest "Saddlebag Sidings"? Also, I sent you an email with a link to someone on eBay selling some UK outline O Gauge stuff cheap that might be a good buy for your loft project. Hope it helps!
There is a reason Metcalfe models are everywhere. They are good and reasonably priced. If you don't want to modify them, then use them as they are, but you have options.
Superb work ! For the Metcalfe models, they are not that expensive to buy, fun and easy to build, and good looking. Three reasons why you find them everywhere...
I’d say if Metcalfe models are everywhere then it’s a testament to how good they are, that’s a nice scene the picture under the bridge section sets it of well.
A early good morning from nz buildings look great Mike its a cold frosty morning outside still dark roll on summer ☀️ would you recommend oo scale Metcalf buildings to make make up for a first time builder like myself I've never constructioned them before and don't know much about them so any advice would be helpful cheers from your kiwi mate
The 3D building scene below the over bridge adds tremendous visual interest.
Amazing how a few bits and pieces and a backdrop can change the whole appearance.
Looking good.
Thanks for the video Mike, what would we do without Metcalfe. Awesome small layout looking the part!!😎🚂🚃🚃🚃🚃🇬🇧
Thanks,indeed

Looks great.....the colour blends itself to the layout and makes a great background well done.
Thanks

Looking very good, like the look of this one😊👍
I always keep "spare" parts from all my Metcalfe kits. You never know when and where they'll come in handy, Looking good. Cheers
Looks excellent, keep up the good work.
Best video yet
Thanks, not getting much interest in this project for some reason sadly
@@BudgetModelRailways Perhaps inglenooks are getting repetitive? Sorry to have missed you at the Sompting show.
Yes I think you are right, I will have to make some progress on my oval I think. I was sorry to have to miss Sompting

Thanks its a Peco backscene
Those buildings look really effective- somehow their height makes the whole layout look bigger.. not explaining myself very well !
I can see what you mean, thanks
As you seem to be in with Metcalfe these days any chance of give them a nod about doing a red brick police station. 😁😉
