Oh dang! Did I inspire you? Good job. I find the first 2-3 days I get a lot of water weight loss. I bet you enjoyed your normal diet once you finished the 40 hours.
Probably a lot, because most of it might be water weight and poop. I did recently a 5 day fast , went from 108kg to 103kg but also tracked my body fast percentage. So I calculated about 3kg fat loss. But honestly, 3kg fat for “just” 5 days not eating in comparison to 1-2 months cutting approach due calorie counting is a way better approach for me.
Hey Jim, I followed your videos and you gave me some good practical fasting tips.Keep updating with the results 🎉 Did you notice any issues with loose skin? Or any tips how to avoid loose skin?
Thanks for the support! So glad my videos were helpful! No tips on how to avoid it. I have been fortunate and have not had any issues other than 1 last roll of fat that I hope will be the last to go when I reach my goal weight. The only way I ever heard of to reduce loose skin is to lose weight slowly and make sure you have a healthy diet so your skin can adjust with the changes in your body. My guess is the more weight someone loses and the longer they fast the higher the risk of loose skin. I did find that once I broke my fast I got back in the gym and building up my muscles made my skin look a lot better.
@@ChallengeTheorythank you Jim 👍🏽 I researched a bit more and according to Dr. Jason Fungh the issue with loose skin will be gone during longer fasting and getting into autophagy.
As long as you can get your 7-8 hours of sleep every day, you could fast working night shift. If you have to work on your feet all night or have a physical job that adds a lot of challenge. I work from home at my desk so it has always been easy for me physically. I would start with a 3 day fast and see how your body handles it and go from there.
Jim, I appreciate that. I went 40 hrs without eating and lost 6#. I'm anxious to see how much of it comes back 😬

@@saranrajbalag4932 I have heard that also, that autophagy can heal lose skin.
If you were working night shift how would you fast?
