I like the way they are going with the balancing. Giving units buffs and making those units more interesting with abilities is a better way to approach the balance imo. Also, the abilies that drastically change a feature of a unit when stationary is a good surprise.
100% agree with the Devs wanting to make each unit unique. Most people complain not enough battlegroups. Fuck battlegroups. Make every unit and the existing battlegroups unique to create a different strategy and then we add more units
Good Job with the updates, please take into consideration to keep the game more realistic as possible, also if you can add description and details about the units in the load out screen like put their health stats, abilities, range, veterancy, etc. Also if you can make the units in 3D so that we can zoom and in, and out, and rotate to see their skins in more details, and putting a background history about this units like how they served in war, what they did, etc. so that we can read while we're waiting for a match. Also please allow a chat box on the loading screen right before the match starts thanks!
As a DAK player myself, I'm happy with the changes. The assault granadiers were a unit that I wasn't using much, but now they seem much better. Also, I think that the game seems a bit slow at the start because there's not too much you can do, while you wait for the units to cap, maybe if we have 2 pioneers and engineers at the start of the game we can cap quicker and let us back up allowing us to build defensive barriers, wires, or plant mines or building traps wich is not used much in the game, this will allow us to be more entertained while we wait for our stronger infantry to get to the field
FINALLY! After so many month of small changes FINALLY we see the patch that I call the good one. I do support every single change in this, first time in intire lifecyrcle of the coh 3. This time I can easaly say "well done relic, well done".
Talking about the disasters of the "over tuning", I can still remember the day Relic added suppression to the mortar and leig in COH2, which turned it to entirely another game😂
Now it's fun. Way better now. Bring back Ranked match and more awesome 4v4 maps. Remake old 2 maps. The visual and animation is much better. Sound not great as coh2, but still, better than released version. UI has improved.
I dont get this game, I suck at it. Allies always feel overtuned. Even with this change which would reduce the ridiculous threat of ally infantry advancing. CoH 1 felt more intuitive, I don't know what it is but in coh 3 Axis feels sluggish
i played 6 rounds yesterday on 2x2 as Allies. On 5 of them i were swarmed by 250s, from 3 to 5 of them on every game. and CMT truck with the AA are more useless then ever.
Great update! More good things than I can list! One thing though: The 250/9 Halftrack cannot, i mean NO WAY fit a squad of soldiers. I know this is not the most realistic game, but this is breaking the laws of physics. Somehow it becomes more effective aswell?!

I guess it was very important to tell us the pronouns of Jason, Darren and John. They indeed look and sound very female. More important than adding german voice lines or unit collision.
You need to tune more the game to advance for that… i think they need to put more batglegroups and do more esports tournaments … and next step do one or 2 new factions and maybe in a dlc like pacífic war and bring to the franchise the naval war because most of rts games have naval combat… like put a support battleship that works like a production building and can bring more ships and infantries to fight points in tiny Islands and have submarines and other ships in a rock scissors paper way…. Like take the only example of the Ww2 rts genre that is the Sudden Strike 4 Pacific war DLC …. I love the state of coh 3 and im enjoying a lot playing the game and Now with this top notch animations and tuning in the infantry roles its fantastic i already unistall coh1 and coh2 they need a retirement but with nostalgy 🥹
