The new map looks absolutely fantastic, Ibwas hoping for another art asset lookover, but I can wait. At this point the only thinte I want touched is the menus (game UI looks great) and blast effects which still leave a little to be desired imo, atleast compared to CoH2, they just dont kick up enough dirt and dust for my taste
What's stopping an extra team player going into observer mode and calling out every step the other team is doing? 'Hey guys there's a Panther out now, you all need to move your AT to the bottom lane!' That kind of stuff?
Why 50% comments in this video about VFX? As for me, VFX in CoH 3 very-very-very beautiful (for example: smoke, traccers, grenades), and VFX update can move for new observer mode (very important for CoH 3)
Lol. The effects in this game ARE NOT very good. It's the reason why Relic is working on updating the graphics for the next patch. People have been complaining about the effects and audio since the game launched - and for good reason. Look at COH2 and COH3 side by side and you can see that SO much more time and effort was put into the visuals and audio for COH2 vs COH3. What we got at launch for COH3 was essentially an alpha build of the game. It was criminal.

No, I still think smoke in coh1 is way better than in coh3. Coh1 is like a real battle, while coh3 is like a toy war. I was surprised to see people say that the VFX of coh3 is very good.

But even inspite of that these still feel like more consistant and better patches then were getting before. If they keep this pace of a major update every ~3 months the game will start doing a lot better I think.
Can't you just remake the Red/White Ball Express or Port of Hamburg into the COH3 FFS, nobody gives a damn about the historical events behind all the maps and just want some really fun and classic maps to play with.

so everything is clear, they took the maps from the workshop and finished them up. when will the game come out? so far they have only given the players a lip service like the game has come out, here you go, but in fact the product is raw, there is 0 balance, the Americans, except for the mortar which doesn't hit and doesn't do any damage, simply don't have artillery. but the Germans have something for every taste and color. the bug where a squad doesn't lose a model until it reaches almost 0 HP, no one is fixing it. (why only the Germans have this bug is unclear). and this actually has a big impact on the course of the game! when during a normal shootout between two squads you have lost 3 models, and the enemy has lost 0 and accordingly he won't spend points to replenish the losses. the game has been turned into some kind of long-term construction project, everything can be solved quickly and competently. but instead of this you make maps and update icons. you won't earn money like that)) pretty pictures for the profile and other nonsense won't work here. Players need variety in their choice of tactics and working game mechanics, not these cards and other nonsense. Upd...By the way, I'm playing with part 1, in total I've played about 6k hours in all 3 games. And in all 3 parts no one corrects such obvious moments.
remove teamcolours and unlock modding so people can make historically accurate mods like blitzkreig , most dudes i used to play coh2 with wont buy this game until this is done because its too arcade .
You need to keep working on VFX and Audio improvements. Up the immersion to bring more players to the game. Player numbers are low causing weak matchmaking which makes players frustrated. More players will leave the game. COH3 looks good, but it's not better than COH2 in this department. VFX needs to be the number 1 focus.
FSR 3.1 and better texture quality for 8gb vram cards would be nice. That 4v4 map looks really good btw

Oh those observer mode and replay mode changes are awesome! That alone will make the casting scene much brighter when this update drops!
Sweet deal. The LiveObs mode is pretty sweet. Love all the updated info panels etc. Exciting for the casters.

John confirmed that the Vfx improvements have been pushed to the update in February unfortunately.
While moving, vehicles pass through each other instead of stopping and giving way. I also support VFX improvements.
Or when you order them to retreat they take the longer route for some reason making you loose your halftracks
Why didn't you talk about the rework of the unit Veterancy system? That was supposed to be the best part of this update.

Relic is struggling,
The game is improving and that's good. I got it this spring and having a blast. An improvement from coh2 in many areas, but still needs some work
There's also the balancing changes and new Battlegroups that will be talked about on the 26th

Balance is pretty good atm almost 50%50% winrate between Axis and Allies in ALL game modes. What are you talking about?
