it's kinda unsatisfying that the goliath explosion did 0 damage to the church visually.
What was the criteria for a community map to be picked? I've made tons of maps and would love to help build a map.
I'm curious too, since it certainly doesn't seem to be making geographically accurate historic battlefields like Halfaya, Kasserine, Tobruk, El Alamein, etc.

Nice work! Just bought the game after a year of updates and I am very much enjoying it, super detail and graphics. Love it. Glad I waited until things were fixed. An extension to the DAK campaign would be great, love playing with DAK.

Looking forward to the Archer and micro-intensive DAK battlegroup most of all. Really happy that it is free as well. Overall this is looking like a great update, the QoL improvements for the campaign, surrender, and quit penalty are immensely welcome.

Love what you're doing with the game! Every large patch have been clear improvements imo. Will soon hit the 300 hour mark, but looking forward to spend another additional 500 hours like I did with coh2.

Any plans on updating AI specificly for Annihilation mode? The game AI doesn't seems to be designed for Annihilation mode at all even the highest extreme AI barely defended their base and it took me less than 20mins to destroy all 4 enemy base in Annihilation mode using nothing but Light Tanks and Armored Car
This. Especially considering Annihilation is the only mode worth playing.

New BGs look sick, but something that would be awesome is the supply trucks being available for all factions. It would be a welcomed addition to the macro IMO

When update on console?
Really happy to see mission select unlocked for everyone. I’m mainly a multiplayer guy so fell off from the campaigns. Been replaying command and conquer generals campaigns and really enjoyed the bite size, no nonsense, jump in jump out nature of them. CoH missions are longer of course but would like to try them out in this format :)
Good to See the game is still improving. Is there any chance of a bigger DLC Like Operation Market Garden, alongside the 101st Airborne Division ? Maybe a Normandy Update would be so good.
I know we had Normandy in COH 1 but I think it’s a missed opportunity.
Normandy is not outdated I think it’s what most Players really want ❤️ keep it up ☺️
I'm guessing it'll be Eastern front, specifically a Stalingrad campaign if they're gonna do a big DLC like that. They already have American Airborne and British Glider troops, a new front just makes more sense

@@dominik8029 Be realistic, we'll probably get one massive DLC halfway through it's lifecycle and that's it. We already have double the launch factions the other games had.

I miss the commander portraits from coh2 on battlegroups. It gave the battlegroups so much personality and was sometimes the sole reason why i would buy a new commander to try out.

It's good that you are working on the game, maybe in the future there will be more battle groups or a new army in the DLC, e.g. Japan. Soviets?

Is the archer only available with the New battle group? Seems silly to have 3 new At units locked to 1 bg.

Seems like almost every match is just gonna be brits vehicle rushing and getting TC upgrades extremely early.
I wonder these accolades will unlock properly or not. I have doubt in it.

It looks like it is a high skill battle group. I feel like I wouldn’t be efficient with it personally.
the camouflage thing feels incredibly obnoxious. I didn't like it in COH2 with snipers I sure as heck don't like it when entire infantry and heck even tanks! Can now utilize it. Its just one of those things that always gets cheesed and always is eye rolling.
If Operation Skorpion isnt atleast 250 muni I will be very concerned
@@veedemo Why would it? bombing run is 180, and BB salvo is 225. The brit incendiary run is 150. I would expect 180 range.

But one thing i dont understand, why does Company of heroes 2 have more immersive effect on tanks upon firing or tank a hit? Sound so extremly powerful. In Company of heroes 3 i dont feel the same with the tanks, they feel more like paper

Dont like the DAK battlegroup, but love the Britisch one.
Nobody is going to use the plunder truck as intended, ie driving it to points far away from the base for the big payload, aside from doing it for the memes. I can imagine the designers facepalming once they see people just drive it to the nearby point and back for a little boost in production.

Like the new deterrent for quitting games, my concern is people just going AFK instead, how is this managed going forward or are the team with the AFK player just stuck with them? Surely that’s a worse experience than at least the AI taking over?
Why is the sound quality for the battle group segment so distorted? This current relic team has no idea of what quality control is, this speaks for the general state of the game. Why was the first round of battle groups behind a paywall and the second isn’t ? So inconsistent. Get your act together and I might start playing again.
Relic is now an independent company, that's why those Battlegroups are free, they were paid by Sega.

Uh oh, disconnect hacks will come up soon. I know, Warcraft 3 had such a system in its early days and it did not took long when hackers came up, forcing game crashes - on the other players! Let's see how this will work out.
Player's dropping matches were a result of poor match making followed by lack of map selection/blocking.
If you brought duclair or reball express i believe people would give coh 3 a chance

Not trying to be mean or starting a debate about the new BGs, but I would have rather seen BGs more oriented to encourage engagement and dynamic gameplay than sedantary and stealthy approach. CoH3 really settles about defending, not committing and plays around the waiting game...That works especially for Axis, such as Coastal BG. But to be honest, it makes the game stale and boring because of the reasons I mentionned above. And with the new BGs, of course we didn't see how it plays out, I can only see more of the same kind of gameplay. That's not encouraging and engaging. It's like the game is design to play in The Scheldt against bots for 50 min stomping each other with arty....that's boring and not for competitive multiplayer. That's my take on the direction this game is taking especially since Coastal came out and the new upcoming BGs. I would prefer something else because Coastal is cancer in every way; cheap buffs, cheap abilities, cheap units but very effective and no matter how much you wipe out, it comes back just like a disease. Sorry if my review is not to your taste, but I had to say it...Panzers going dark, really?! Thats the best you could come up with?!

tired game designers and community managers are best, seems that game will fall over the years and maybe some day new team with new power will create new game and current will be forgotten as nightmare

This is the titled update buddy. They said a balance patch will be coming with it.
Both battlegroups sound boring as hell. No new armor. No new factions. Get it together...
Though being able to play the campaign missions without wading through the unnecessary clunk should be commended.

If you want to improve the 'fun' of automatch, fix the ridiculous ELO imbalances that auto serves up.
A good game is a close game.
Stomping weaker players is just as boring as being stomped by players 400+ ELO above your rank, which happens frequently.
Every player you mismatch is another player out of the pool to be matched with a similar ranked player.
There should be no circumstance where the system allows me to be matched with someone 900 ELO above me. That's matching Tyson against someone who's never put on gloves. RIDICULOUS.
Fix your matchmaking, and you'll have fewer people quitting games early.
'Surrender' and Automatch cooldown is just an aweful Nanny State Fix for a poor matchmaking algorithm.
