Absolutely love the way you dismantle all your repairs by just throwing the bits everywhere only a person who does this truly knows what he's doing fantastic videos love watching them brilliant
This model is probably dewalts most popular 18v SDS. The Makita dhr242 probably makitas most popular. Which do you see in more for repairs? Great video nice simple one relatively speaking. Thumbs up.
I need a crank shaft with bearing ready installed, but I can't seem to find one online. I don't possess a bearing press and pullers (yet) any suggestions? Thanks a million. The dch273 I am repairing needs a new gearbox housing, clip, o rings. The full cost of parts needed is in the order of at least €150. I can't decide whether it is too costly to fix. It isn't my drill, so the cost will be something he has to consider. I am not sure how to advise him in that regard.
Bosch grease. Have a butchers at some SDS thumbnail videos Dean does regularly show the big Bosch unit of grease he gets with the part number. The little small 20/30/50ml tubes are great that you can get from tool places but very expensive per litre compared to the big Bosch tub Dean gets.
I wonder what blokes are using these units to do? You can put a 32mm x 900mm bit in them or a 4 inch chipping hammer. You will kill ‘em but she will give it a go. This one, Chinese dude was stingy with the grease
They are all stingy with the grease in these dewalts. But I do know of a few fella around here drilling 4inch Dimond cores with them. Mind you they are into Mica houses for testing, but they are not always wetbix blocks.
I've got the older version with nicd's, still going strong and a good unit, I expect I'll need to do something similar when it starts getting weak so these videos are good.
@@racekar80He says "cordless" Bosch have the best 110v and 240v corded SDS drills. If you are looking for the best for 8mm and bigger holes look at the Makita 40v line. Fast fix tools on the internet will have a great site for browsing for specs etc
@patrickcowan8701 I think they actually do drop to 18v. 2v to inches. Who's counting, right? I run my ole modified 14.4v drill and light on 20v batteries. They never complained.

Super
These are passing by on the workbench pretty often. Because of high sales or shitty quality?
High sales. These are the most popular sds drill. And by a long way.
They are also used for more than they are designed for

18v? Y'all are getting screwed across the pond!
We're 2 volts better across the pond. Or maybe someone's lying..my 60 volt is really only 54.
They're exactly the same..I run my skil 20v tools on erbauer 18v batteries they are the same as skil batteries only skil says 20v & erbauer says 18v
