    Thank you for the video!
    Is the ram supposed to be pushed into the piston that far?
    I’m having trouble with my Dewalt dch273, when chipping/hammer mode when you release pressure the chisel pushes out to far and it sticks so it doesn’t hammer, so you have to put a lot of downward pressure on it to push it back into place so it starts hammering again. I just replaced the the ball, spring, washer, piston, ram, and o-ring, but it’s still doing it. It seems like it’s the beat piece that’s sticking, because I can push the beat piece back in with a screwdriver, but it could be something else slightly jamming. I have some videos on my UA-cam channel showing the issue. Do you have any ideas?
    Thank you again!

      I think you need to try replacing hammer, don't forget to grease it - I usecMakita yeallow grease. From your videos tool looks like new, its not under warranty?

      Thank you!
      Unfortunately it was bought about 4 years ago and it was only used 2 times in the first year. It looks different now, because it’s been used a lot in the past year. It’s had this problem since I first bought it. I thought it was normal until it became annoying to use and I figured something has to be wrong.
      So you think I have to replace the whole front piece(spindle), part number N477771, or all the parts inside that spindle piece?
      Thank you again.

    Hello.
    That spring that goes on the rotating ball axis that keeps the ball seated on the rotating plate, what would be the part code?
    I'm referring to the spring at the minute @14:14
    By the way, the video is very good

    I have this drill and it hammers but feels like it is not hammering as hard or fast as it did, think it might just need cleaning

    My hammer had the clip #35 distorted and off the spindle. How do you finish the final assembly of the spindle so the spring is compressed enough to install the clip? The washer, Item 34 is too large for the clip to retain. Since the washer is the same one that was in the unit, I was wondering if the clip was supposed to retain it or go directly on the bearing. I would appreciate any assistance in this. A great instructive video.

      I think clip must retain washer and I fix all parts in a vise to press spring and make assemble easy

      @tornecro Рік тому +1

      I need to reassemble that as well, could you provide more details on how to compress it with a bench vise? Did you use a custom tool like a holow socket to push the retainer all the way in? A video about that would be cool 😅

      @@tornecro I press one side with vise and gently hitting other side with hammer to get it pressed all tha way

      If you need parts try to search for local Dewalt service parts dealer or ebay, amazon etc...
