Thanks! Sorted this the weekend before last and finally used Live Professor on the stereo bus. UAD, PA, Slate and more all available! Tons of zero latency PA stuff to pick from too. Kirchhoff EQ is a new favorite as well as Oxford inflator!

The Main LR fader on my x32 rack keeps going up and down the moment i turn on the mixer, this makes me use my Matrixes on prefader mode but I'd like to know, what could be the problem?

Drew, After watching this great video, I believe that I can insert at most 6 Input Channels onto the LR Output. Is there a way to put Racks on the Output Channels so that I can add processing for the Output Channels, thus affecting all Input Channels?

So in the video, you don’t actually insert on the LR bus, just aux 3. So would you be running your faders into aux 3 and using that as your LR? Or is there a way to choose the LR Bus? I seem to be missing something.

Thank you so much Drew! This channel is a blessing. Hypothetically, I have figured out how to make this work on LR and still use my auxes, but wondering your thoughts! If my auxes are remapped to user in 1-8, user inputs 1/2 are card 1/2, and the rest of the user inputs 3-6 are what i had mapped to the rest of the auxes 3-6, this should work correct??

I'm wondering if you have any experience with Live Professor 2 used in the same way with the X32. As I understand it, one of the real pluses is it can utilize plugins from a wide variety of brands, while SuperRack Performer will only support Waves Plugins.
Can you still multitrack record with the same computer that is running this software?

Is there a way to use waves effects? Like Verb and Delay??
Drew this count be an issue if I pull out the insert during a live show and get a significant audio level increase. Have you dealt with this kind of situation?
Wouldn't the overall latency also depend on the plugins you use? For example an L316 multi-band across the master bus would introduce a significant amount of latency wouldn't it?
Is there a way to use this with the Soundcraft si Expression?
I have implemented your advice, I have a buffer with 512 samples, we do not really hear the latency in the room because there are many echoes and the room is not soundproof.
The big problem I have is that when I activate the inserter on the auxiliary 5 and 6 there is a strong distortion, we really have the impression that there is an effect on the track while not at all, all the other tracks on superrack works great ... anyone has the solution?

In this use case for SuperRack, as well as the other method you used for 1-1 patching per channel, is there a way to assign one of the user assign buttons as a one click bail to either re route the channels out of the card, or in this case, disable all of the inserts at once?
Would also be curious to use TBP with this method, to send and return a master reverb for the desk!

You could use a snippet for this! It would load faster than a scene and it would only affect the channels you decided to program with the snippet. I'll have to add this to my video list! Thanks for the suggestions!

Can Waves Super rack be inserted in Yamaha TF
So. The only way to insert a rack channel from waves super rack is via aux? I'm using a waves server and the Dugan for 20 mics. I want to insert a processor on the group/aux that those mics are routed to. So... I'd need to use aux 1-2... If they makes sense. ps. I am trying to do this on a M32C, which seems to be a little different.
Any way to do a virtual sound check with xlive and superrack?

How do I do this without using auxes???
Great method. Am trying it out tomorrow. And by the way, our Midas m32 started a habit of freezing momentarily when we restart it, sometimes it stops and others not. How can we permanently fix this?
Oh no! I haven't heard of that happening. Maybe the internal SD card is starting to fail?

I would like to see a video of using waves real tune via superrack into a full x32 that is patched 1:1 ex: drums1-8 rest of the band 9-16 and 17-24 and 25-32 can be vocals…many of the videos tutorials work but not if you have a full board

No plugin included
Yup, there are not any plugins included with SuperRack. Waves now offers a monthly subscription for plugins or you can purchase them one at a time.

Painful we don’t have some of these plugins on the console
You would love the Avid VENUE series like the SC48, Profile and D-Show then! Old consoles, but Waves VST plugins were built into the DSP of the console. I love those consoles and am always happy to mix on one!
