+Maskaman there is an indicator on the genesis version. look at the man's swimsuit before each fork, he'll have white lines either on the left of the suit or the right of his suit.
The dinosaur sprites are perfect for video games like Denver the last dinosaur the video game and The Land before time where you'll play as Chomper the friendly tyrannosaurus in some levels
I would change the order of some of them, but your list is quite similar to mine. I would say that baby is the hardest one as it has very difficult jumps. The water slide would come second because is really short although quite random. You can also pause the game to check the directions you have to follow in the man's swimsuit. And I would also change dino with bike. Anyway, this is just a personal taste :)
Thank you for uploading this! Terrific play and awesome strats for each level. I do slightly disagree with this being a no deaths run... even if it’s RNG, a death is a death imo. I still give this a thumbs up! I just ebayed a copy today, I would like to complete this on console. possibly practice for deathless... if I did, a ton of credit would go to this video as it taught me so much. Tough as nails, unforgiving game. It’s a 100% guilty pleasure, I find enjoyment in the challenge even though the game is designed poorly, haha. Nostalgic rental game
Thanks a lot for your comment Nathaniel! You are like me, we both find pleasure in challenges. It would be really hard to enjoy this game besides its difficulty, haha. I wish you the best of luck in your mission of completing this game (deathless or not). I'm sure that you will achieve it. With regard to the "death" I had in this run, it's debatable. It happened in a screen with a completely distinct gameplay. It's just a wheel that's spinning, there's nothing under my control and my skill is not involved unlike the normal stages. I have played other games with random stuff that can kill you and ruin your gameplay and yes, I would consider that as a death since it happened during the normal segments. For example, I remember the gameplay of Monty on the Run and the bloody crushers. They don't have any kind of pattern and I had to repeat a lot of times in order to get the deathless run. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the game and that my gameplay can be useful to you. Best regards!
Hey, awesome to hear from you! The game came in a couple of days ago. I have been practicing on emulator the past week. Things have been going well, I'm pretty solid at all of the stages except for the water slide and dino stage. I still intend to go for "true deathless" attempts as I find time. I totally hear you about the "death". I can't seem to manipulate past the first spin, either. I feel like it's something that could be cracked, but maybe it can't be manipulated. I decided I'm going to devote time to practice/attempts rather than trying to figure it out anymore. By my rough math, without any manipulation there's only about a 20% chance to beat the game without the wheel ever landing on the skull. Your gameplay has been invaluable! Off the top of my head, high-jumping as the dino, the snow dino stage, and the furnace platforming in the pig stage have made this game so much easier than it otherwise would have been. We'll see how things go... I'm not putting any expectations on when I will be able to complete the run. I won't be surprised if it doesn't happen soon. I checked out some of your other videos as well... great stuff, impressive!
Maskaman, I did it! After going on a hiatus for a while, I picked the game back up and got the "truly" deathless run: ua-cam.com/video/cJp1WySHVLU/v-deo.html Thanks again for the inspiration and this great run of yours, it helped a lot.
Hi Nathaniel! Sorry for the delay in replying to your comment. I have just watched the run and it's impressive. You have bettered mine in every sense. Congrats for beating the game like that and in the real system too! I still think that dying in the roulette is not that important. You were lucky and got a life but it could have been a skull like it happened to me. Anyway, I love some of the strategies you developed. And thanks for the mention, it's a pleasure to have been helpful. Kind regards mate!
When I was a kid, 20 years from now, I found this game to be an amazing game. Now, while I'm watching this, I can't help but to repeat myself "this is so silly".
This looks at least 10x harder than Bart's Nightmare, and that's saying something. I forgot about this game tbh. This, bart's nightmare, bart vs. the world, the golden age of Simpsons games. There was also a game called Krusty's funhouse I think.
It's more difficult, especially some of the stages, but you can practice them individually. Krusty's Fun House is a really underrated game, but at that time, we all wanted action/platform games.
The Waterslide is the biggest reason most people hated this game, there is no way to tell which way you have to go, other than blind repetition, because taking one wrong turn was instant death, and there was no way to tell if you went the wrong way until it was too late.
Actually, you can know the right turn if you look closely at the man in a green swimsuit. If you pay attention to his back, there are arrows pointing the way you have to follow. You can always pause the game if he goes too fast.
even though it wasn't his fault he still died. when the wheel landed on the skull and crossbones it counted as death and took away a life. the lives went from 3 down to 2
I don't consider that as a real death as it doesn't involve any skill from the player, it's just random. And they are not even real lives, like the ones in the minigames, they are just tries to spin the wheel. It's a very bad design anyway, as the game can end just because of bad luck.
Dropping the time limit would improve this game. I didn't say VASTLY improve it, but improve it. I would always lose to time on the pig stage and I never knew the waterslide told you where to go.
Yes, although I don't consider that as a real "death". It's completely random and doesn't involve any kind of skill. If I die in any of the stages it's my fault, but if I land on that pirate skull that's just bad luck, haha.
I would have probably broken the computer, some furniture and then I would have retired to a peaceful life in a cave. I experienced that but with other gameplays I have uploaded. Fortunately the games weren't as frustrating as this one, haha.
I don't remember the fallout bike bit being like that. I remember it being a very long but straight path in a 2D racing format, you just need to deal with your attackers and keep your speed/time up.
Fun little game, I remember playing. Seeing this I don't think I beat many of these stages if any though... Same with Bart's Nightmare, I would always get half the pages then never know how to make more show up. XD
Why they dont do some plataforming game for snes. This and bart nightmare are so bad. When i was kid i obly can beat the pig one. I wonder if i can take this game again as an adult and beat it
You wanna know something? In Bart's nightmare there are only 3 (yes I counted) sections where Bart has a health bar. It is the same in the snes version! In the Genesis version the health Bar has diffrent colors.
Yes, I knew about the health bar being the same in both games, but despite the fact I've played the Genesis version as well, I didn't notice the different colours!
Also I realized when I played the 5 normal levels in the Genesis version SEGA miscolored Bart. He was supposed to be green but he was made grey when his health bar was past half. This doesn't happen in Bart's nightmare.
Thank you for this. This game kicked my ass as a kid. I never finished it so Im glad to see this.

+PlNGP0NG Yes, it's the best way to navigate through that level, although there is no indicator in the Genesis version.
+Maskaman there is an indicator on the genesis version. look at the man's swimsuit before each fork, he'll have white lines either on the left of the suit or the right of his suit.
Oh sorry, it's true, I forgot that there is no indicator in the upper part but it is still present in the man's swimsuit. Thanks for the correction.
You have the skill and patience of a master.
This game was fun. I didn't care it was hard. Never beat it.
The dinosaur sprites are perfect for video games like Denver the last dinosaur the video game and The Land before time where you'll play as Chomper the friendly tyrannosaurus in some levels
It's weird to recall how at one point, Bart was the main character and the big troublemaker. These days, it's Homer Homer Homer.
my opinion
(hardest to easiest):
Water slide
baby
pig
tomato
bike
Dino
i was really bad at the game,i could only beat the two easiest xD
I would change the order of some of them, but your list is quite similar to mine. I would say that baby is the hardest one as it has very difficult jumps. The water slide would come second because is really short although quite random. You can also pause the game to check the directions you have to follow in the man's swimsuit. And I would also change dino with bike. Anyway, this is just a personal taste :)
Maskaman directions in the mans swimsuit what do ya mean??
Omg I used to play this game all the time. Never could finish though without dying it was cool to see the ending.
I see the student has surpassed the master.
The voice acting sounds just like the episodes of the time and is a ton nicer than Bart’s nightmare.
When I was a kid, 20 years from now, I found this game to be an amazing game. Now, while I'm watching this, I can't help but to repeat myself "this is so silly".
20 years from now? So you haven't been born yet?
one of the hardest games i ever played, i look back and i think this was harder than the damn lion king
You deserve this sub bro
Thanks mate!
Congrats some seriously tough platforming sections.
Thanks! Yes, it's not an easy game. The Baby Bart section is a real pain in the ass.
Definitely not a marathon safe game lol
This was soooo much fun :)
the baby level music haunted me as a child
something about this game and its visuals it was just so damn fun
Thanks for uploading
A word of Caution: Don't Hit Skinner, Edna K., Chief Wiggum, or Groundskeeper Willie!
You can hit Skinner when he is bent over but it was too dangerous to risk the whole gameplay haha.
I totally forgot about this game. I played it so much as a kid and never beat it.
No way in the hell I was beating this as a kid . Genius business move for video stores . I rented this a ton thinking this time I’ll beat it.
Dropping the time limit would improve this game. I didn't say VASTLY improve it, but improve it. I would always lose to time on the pig stage and I never knew the waterslide told you where to go.
The only death you got when you rolled and landed on a pirate skull!! But otherwise 99.99% nearly perfect!!
Yes, although I don't consider that as a real "death". It's completely random and doesn't involve any kind of skill. If I die in any of the stages it's my fault, but if I land on that pirate skull that's just bad luck, haha.
I play this game when i was a kid and its funny but I can still remember the music stage of the first stage and the pork stage exactly how it was
virtual bart y bart nightmare fueron mis videojuegos de los simpson favoritos.
6:37
Marge: ORAORAORAORAORA
Bart: MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA
Dang the baby bart level was hard AF
The Tomato one is my favorite!
I never knew about the diaper parachute... made it damn near to the end of this level too
This game's ending was one of the first times i felt so many negative emotions all together as a kid
When throwing tomatoes and eggs, you can actually hit principal Skinner while he is tieing his shoes!
MrRiffraff84 Yes, you are right, but if he stands up and you hit him it's game over. It was the last stage and I didn't want to take risk! haha.
***** You came pretty close to nailing Wiggum with an egg though - I would've crapped my pants at that point.
I can attest the games ARE a pain. But the Water Slide and the Photobombing minigames were my thing.
I wonder if i can take this game again as an adult and beat it
Great run!
