- This game is kinda unique despite its general awfulness. Running Virtual Bart takes you across a plethora of cliche platforming game environments, and even 2 (two!) ice levels. sadistic. I ran Virtual Bart on Sega Mega Drive Classics on steam. It's an amazing, officially licensed emulator that is a lot of fun to play, you get 100's of Genesis games along with it including community-made mods, i recommend it.
Levels in order of playing:
Pig level: 0:22
Dinosaur Level 6:28
Baby level: 11:00
Mount Splashmore: 14:08
Tomato Level (the good level): 15:36
Motorcycle level: 19:07
Improved on previous record about 1 minute. I 1-cycled 3 of the ice blocks on the pig level which save 15 seconds each. Dinosaur boss I have gotten the 2 hits per cycle more consistent. There is still plenty of time that can come off. I had a couple of deaths on dinosaur, tomato level i lost maybe 30 seconds, and the motorcycle level was just eh.

I remember my brother and I rented this game when we were kids. We both thought this game sucked 😂
I never hated and loved a game so much as this one.
Many rentals from Blockbuster for the SNES version. Never beat it. Came close a few times, but finally gave up for good for the sake of my sanity.

@@dotwarner17or chicken. Worked in poultry processing and the health inspection had a big panel to approve, partially or totally reject a carcass (partial being chop the bad bits off, the rest is safe).
There was a big "cannibalism" button and a cannibalized chicken was a total loss.

So many good memories from childhood. I hated the waterslide game, always fell to my death or against a wall

Fascinating to see the extra levels I never got to as a kid.
I could pretty much only beat the water slide (pure luck I never knew the trick) and tomato throwing lol.
And good food heals my whole body including my lungs.

This game was fucking impossible to beat for kids. I dont know why they made it so hard. The difficulty took all the fun away. I hated it
i loved this game as a kid, side note, when i was a kid i had NO IDEA bart could use his diaper as a parachute in baby form. getting to the circus without parachute became natural to me which wasnt easy and i learn about 10 years after you can parachute? i felt like such a retard LOL!!!
It's a trip to find out a move in a game now that you never knew about growing up. That diaper parachute makes it so much easier haha
This game gave me so many frustrations as a child.
The graphics definitely are better than the SNES one. As are some of the voice samples. The music however is a different story. That circus level sounds like the monkeys got loose and started going bananas on the pipe organ.
Impressive that you beat it, because even to the standards at the time, the game was terrible. Too much trial and error, too little lives, awful rest points.
sometimes i watch speedruns to see how the game continued, in this case i was so bad at the game i didnt even know the levels here

So, you start counting on that initial blue screen, and then stop counting when the last game is beaten (but before the final animation of the last game)?
start counting as soon as you press start on the title screen, and stop right when you beat the final level
Is it just me or does the damage bart takes seem different from the SNES version?
