Yeah, I don't know why GM decided to do a redesign. They really just needed to update the interior, and add some more features. The 14-18 body style was gorgeous.

I think the tailgate is super useful for what I use my truck for. I mainly use my trucks for work and so I'm moving lots of lumber, tools or material. I think it would be better if it had an old school handle to make it come down as a normal tailgate.
The truck has the markers on the fenders because the vehicle is over eighty inches wide. The drop down tail gate comes with a option for a blue tooth speaker from kicker. I have installed around six of these at my dealership and it’s called the tailgater. It’s a collaborative effort from Kicker and GMC.
I own a 16 duramax love all gm stuff but got inside a dang 19 ram and the freakn interior and dash display was off the chain! It killed my stuff and looked better than the 2020 Denali.
True that. I own a 2019 Ram Limited. Everything from the leather grab handles to the 19 soeaker Harmon Kardon are leaves beyond anything else currently on the market.
I love the look of the new Sierra HD and the fender marker lights looks awesome to me. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess. You should buy one, but you'll be missing after market parts availability for some time. I have a new Silverado HD on order and can’t wait to see how the 10 speed performs with the revised L5P.

I bought the 2019 denali ultimate package. Nothing ultimate about it. I kept it 30 days and traded back to dealership on a 2019 old body dmax Denali . Lifted on 37” Nitto tires and black wheels. Way nicer interior

Exactly, why get rid of something he invested so much money on just so he can just do it all over again and achieve the same results he has now? Why get a new truck, lift it, repaint it, put wheels on it, delete and tune it, and all this when he has a truck that already has it all?
It's like this UA-cam channel I saw where he got rid of his ram 4th gen that he lifted and did a whole bunch of stuff to it just so he could get his "dream truck" which was another 4th gen that he plans to lift, modify, and basically do the same thing as his previous 4th gen

I was just by that dealership, the Yukon Denali Ultimates are pretty nice if Wes can deal with the front end. The TPMS sensors in the GMC 2500 are for the trailer, truck actually monitors it. That one had the upgraded camera system, which should include the trailer camera, so it will Ghost the trailer in that new rearview mirror. The 2020s are also the first year to have adaptive cruise control. Totally agree GM is behind, Ford trucks had that in 2017.
Love my 6.2L 2019 Denali. Being 50+ the tailgate is AWESOME. Put a Weatherguard toolbox in and it's perfect. I also put in a cold air K&N box and Borla S-Type on my truck. Best ever truck. My next truck will be a 2500 Denali diesel.
GMC needs to add a sensor to the trailer hitch where if it senses a hitch is in, it disables the tailgate features

On my 2017 F250 when you hit the trailer mode while driving it just changes the gearing setup I assume. it holds the gear little bit longer notthing crazy happens.

I agree. I have a 2017 Silverado LTZ Z-71 and like the diamond pattern going on in the background of the gauge display. There's no such pattern in the newer Chevy trucks. And, as commented in the video, my older Silverado has numerous usb and 12-volt ports. With all the electronics people are now using, there should always be numerous ways to charge/run things.
the rear view camera is so much better than a rear view mirror, once you get used to it you'll never want a traditional rear view mirror ever again.
If you sell the BBB Build and get a 2020 duramax please go with a more offroad warranted setup

Yeah, but you have to think about the market they are getting at with the tailgate. Most 20-30year olds aren’t running around in a 2020 GMC DENALI 2500. That is mostly the older generation who do need the assistance getting in and out.

Interior seems more passenger oriented. Yours and older models are so much more driver oriented beginning from the design of the dash itself. The 2020 seems like it lacks the whole "i can't wait to go for a drive and mess with everything" vibe.
When done right, a slightly lifted Escalade looks sick. Super easy to make it look dumb too though. Buttons are slide/touch sensitive, not pressure I believe.
You’ll appreciate that tailgate when you are 60-70 years old or have bad knees and bad back! Think ahead my man. Great tailgate features. It helped me make up my mind to purchase that very truck in black. (My Opinion Only)!

It’s junk just like the Ford & GM heavy duty diesel trucks are. All 3 of them are constantly having problems with the government mandated emission systems that’s on them. It’s about to the point that you can’t trust any of the 3 of them to take a long road trip with, without having the fear of them leaving you broke down on the side of the road somewheres !!!

Don’t buy the new 2020 gmc or Chevy diesel if you snow Plow. I bought a 3500 denali with snow Plow prep. The first time plowing I get a check engine light apparently the slow Plow blocks so air flow sensor and turns on the light which puts it in a limp mode which enables possibly the lower but also the remote starter. So now I have a diesel in winter I can’t remote start. Also I had to take off the tailgate to put in a salter. GM doesn’t have any plugs like the used to to block off the power tailgate wires and the back up camera wires. So I had to tape them so they don’t corrode with the salt here. The big kicker is because I unplugged these which is common on a Plow truck the entire camera system now doesn’t work. These are 2 things I bought the Denali for. Gm can’t and won’t fix either issue and I have a fleet of trucks from Gm. Looks like I’ll have to go to ford. Also the 2020 Allison transmission isn’t an Allison. False advertising

GM put a statement out that the 2020.5 or 2021 Denali is going to get a new interior, they said they "rushed it out." But I think we know they're just making up for the feedback on the new interior. Going to be interesting to see what they come out with, if they put a ram screen in or not, or panoramic sunroof

I have a 50 mile commute one way and I'm getting 20+ MPG. Of course I'm keeping it under the speed of sound
Well I can tell you mine was not a collapsed lifter. I am on Engine 5 because of Cyl. 7 keeps breaking the valve spring. Obviously the issue started prior to the 120,000 miles. I have replaced the Transmission at 80,000 the radiator, Air Conditioner condenser. The 1st engine was $15, 000.00 Yes Fifteen Thousand dollars. I have owned Chevrolet vehicle since I was 15 years old. This is a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3 V-8. They keep replacing the engine with a used one. The engines have been coming from KLQ. Every time it is Cyl #7. Same issue every time. I baby my truck. Very seldom do I pull a trailer, I do not beat on my truck. The last engine while my wife was driving the truck and she drives like a little old lady. I bought the truck brand new off the showroom floor. Next truck may have a Blue Oval. This truck I have may wind up on the Ford lot with Lemons on every side of the vehicle and I will do a write up on it for anyone looking for a truck to review.

I’m with you on the interior man. I absolutely Love my 2017 Silverado LTZ interior and think they went backwards on the 2019 and 2020 trucks. I have been watering at the mouth for a 2019 or 2020 Sierra Denali, they are super sharp, but I still don’t like the interior.
I'd prefer the 2019 RAM 3500 Limited 4X4 Mega Cab in White with Tan Interior but I do love the GMC Sierra 3500HD Denali SRW in White with the Duramax Diesel Engine with the 10 Speed Allison Transmission

I read that its actually not a reflector. supposed ly it is a functional light, obviously visible at night time, with a GMC logo in it.

There are way to many production issues with these trucks. Do yourself a favor and wait until we get up and running smooth. They are built in a new plant that we are still working all the bugs out of and are not building the best quality we should be right now. Give it six months and definitely check the build date.
