in one piece, it is sayed that emperor haki (the one used to make ennemies faint) can be used to resist or negate effects of devils fruits (if the effect is on them), so we can say this haki is able to immune the owner from black magic if he is strong enough, no soul steal at least, dunno for time manipulation but we dont know if akainu have this haki, and we know other amirals dont have it, so it will not change anything but if an emperor is crossing this portal, then it is another story, some of them may be able to beat them :)
The thing with Eggman is that whenever he sees some weird new shit it’s only a short while before he turns it into some horrific killing machine. All the random Macguffins, the Wisps, the Time Eater, etc… are things he found and within a couple days or weeks built a machine around. If he shows up and starts figuring out what dark magic is (and he’s smart enough to do it), he’d probably become a wizard cyborg abomination. Given Eggman’s highest end tech can control a time god, he has a solid shot to win the scenario: he’d need to stay away from the Lamb or Bishops long enough to create a machine to enslave them, but he CAN do it (provided the Tarot cards are neutralized or stolen, but this man loves stealing powerful artifacts from dangerous guardians) and doing things like this is in-character. I give him ~40% odds. If he gets the Tarot cards and determines their properties he wins, or if he lasts long enough while hidden he’ll bullshit around all the hax, but if he’s caught he’s fucked.
Accept that The Lamb and Bishops have been shown to resist mind control on a way the Time Eater hasn’t. Also the Crowns that bestow godlike power must choose their bestowers. That’s not the case for anything Eggman has ever used in his series.
that can be done as Eggman Has Shown that he has COUNTLESS DECOYS of him self & has made Shadow Androids, plus the Eggrobo(s) are also (mostly) stand-ins for him, then you have to talk about Sage & the Phantom Ruby as Eggman has stated that, Although he made imperfect copies of the Ruby, they still WORK just LIKE the Phantom Ruby but with Shorter Range & a 1-Time use, But they still have the SAME POWER/STREANGHT as the OG ruby. sure most of that is temporary, it has shown that Eggman has sage Saved on his Main Systems & the Shadow androids have appaired in multiple games & Metal is Just BUSTED, so with that, it pushes his odds to about 50-55%
@@rougarabid Another point in favour of Eggman if that he could understand the way the magic system works is that it works through fait. He would stop targeting the bishops and just go agianst the cultist... He would probably start to harbest their devotion (and probably turn a part of the island into a park) Eggman has been showed (just like super earth) to grab other people hacks and add hims to his arsenal, I think he should be able to create shields and barriers against the magic of the land. How would the lamb react if Robonic uses the zombot virus, a slef replicating zombie plague that turns everyone that is touched into robots, suddenly they will start to lose followers left and right. Eggman has the ability to force a draw, in the way of I dont win I will create a super weapon that will destroy me... (Accidentally) And the
@@rougarabid Eggman theoretically has the tools to win, but the Lamb also has the tools to kill him and the latter's are more consistent and available. Eggman is also overconfident enough to slip. If he goes face-to-face with the Lamb at all he gets indoctrinated or dies, and that's extremely likely. While Eggman's technology doesn't display a clear theoretical upper limit, he often loses control of super-powerful entities or gets betrayed. The most consistent thing with the Sonic franchise is Eggman would get control briefly, lose control, and probably run to Sonic for help. This comes to Lee's Law: "Whoever wins is whoever the writer WANTS to win." He's got the CAPACITY to win, but that would push his (base) abilities just a little further than seen before and it requires actions he probably wouldn't do far enough down the scenario.
@@rougarabid Nope, Eggman clears, easily. If he's showing up to conquer the Island, unfortunately for all of the weak-ass fur-fags on it, he's bringing the Egg Fleet, Metal Sonic, and Sage with him. It doesn't matter if the Lamb can't technically die when he's too weak and slow to even fight Metal Sonic, who just keeps kicking that dumbass sheep's head off at Mach Fuck.
A few corrections about Ainz: He has absolutely no desire to conquer the world, he made a joke but the NPCs take everything he says too seriously and by the time he learns about the plan he was too embarrassed to admit to it. He also doesn't conquer everywhere, for example the dwarf nation is an independent trade partner. Ainz actually just wants friends but his role as the ruler of Nazerick gets in the way and most would be too scared of him. Ainz himself is actually an extremely chill dude with an excellent business sense and approachable personality once you actually start to talk to him. Since you said anime only I should mention in the Holy Kingdom movie he gets a cult that worships him as justice. What makes this funny is that the Holy Kingdom is a coastal nation so I could imagine that a member of his cult on a ship getting super lost and ending up in the land of the old faith only to begin preaching about justice. Once the bishops learn that the follower of some god of justice washed up on shore they look around and begin to panic that now they have some god of justice and the lamb to deal with. Only for Ainz to show up and be completely fine with everything they are doing and just waiting to talk about trade deals and other politics stuff which causes them to calm down. In addition the Sorcerer Kingdom has freedom of religion so if the bishops and lamb wanted to they could join the Sorcerer Kingdom to get all the benefits of it and still do all the stuff they were already doing with added paperwork that they would assign to a follower to begin with. Plus Ainz is worried about the dark elf twins dying of old age and the lamb and bishops have items that get rid of that problem for not only the twins but others Ainz wants to keep around. Though I do think that they would remain an independent power. Ultimately it will be a great example of Overlord style humor. Also about Eggman in the comics his robots are implied to have artificial souls he programmed into them which will absolutely suck for them when the lamb or bishops find out. The best example of this is the Scrapbik Island mini series and Belle the Tinker the daughter of Mr. Tinker (an alternative persona from when Eggman lost his memory). Do you think that the bishops would give Ainz a crown of his own to get on his good side?
Correct about Ainz, he isn't the one but the NPCs, there are only certain times he really did kill someone besides him being in the RP he does, Clementine the four who invaded Nazaraick and dude who lied about his comrade pissed him off, he rarely wants it but he has to RP because his afraid NPCs will hate him due to being actually human but he can probably bullshit his way out of it, NPCs on the other hand will look down on the island as insects or unworthy, but the scenario is entirely depending if the Islands level cap is higher or lower than Nazarick.
@@superkgaming8305 Ainz is probably one of the best written protagonist I have ever seen. The author has described the story as a tragedy for the characters and a comedy for the audience.
For Ainz cant you just use Goal of All life is death to allow True Death to bypass all of the spell to bypass all resistance / immunity. Also Ainz can just use world items like the 20 to bypass the bishops etc just a auto win button. Ainz could also use wish magic to bypass bishops and the Lamb. Put simply Ainz can bypass their death immunity : bypass them or complety control the Bishops to his will : or just remove their powers and add it to his own. Also fun fact ainz crew be immune to transmog and death Mainupulation alongside being immune to time Mainupulation.
I feel like they bring up OP items that they use one episode, and its showed to be unstoppable and unable to be countered. Then later it would be showed oh it can be countered. Like grasp heart for example
@alexgutierrez3780 they never said it was unstoppable and explicitly state the weakness of each move as it occurs if you either read or pay attention to ainz as he states why he used that move since even if they resist they would be paralyzed anyways. Besides for wish and World items [W.I] was stated to only be countered by the other W.I of Ygdrasel and since lamb and co don't its flat unstoppable. Also extra fun fact since Lamb etc don't really have a Level then Ainz Passive "High Tier Physical Immunity" + "High Tier Magucal Immunity" would negate all their attacks due to their lack of level.
And the army of Ainz has a Lot more than Just skeletons dude has demons beasts robots etc he only basically sends out the Low Level skeletons to geht a feel for the enemy so that He can better prepare.
@@Ryan_Silver_Fang not necessarily, the World Items protect you from the hacks of other World items but there are still rankings within the World Items and some even being single use which is part of why he doesn't want to use them. Also while some can be a instant win they might not be an instant win for the user, the Scroll he gave the twins can be beaten if you find the exit first and then you get to live and now own the scroll. It all kind of depends on how the Hax of the World items interacts with the black magic Hax and resistances.
To be honest Metal Sonic is all he needs. He copys abilities and gets stronger. So even if they come back Metal Sonic will blitz over and take them out instantly. I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff.
You didn’t watch the whole video. I talk about it in the nightmare section, but the powers they have don’t come from them. They come from their crowns. No evidence, metal sonic can steal powers and abilities from magical artifacts. If that were the case, metal sonic could just have the powers of the chaos emeralds all the time without needing them.
@@rougarabid Metal needs to scan Biodata to copy abilities I think, so anything without Biodata he can't copy. But it's still weird, because he can copy Chaos Control from scanning Shadow's Biodata so I don't know how that works. You can also argue Eggman should have the Chaos Emeralds since he knows how to get them and has done so in that past, but that's iffy.
@@justsomeguywhoexists3999 You are forgetting that was when he was Neo Metal, and that one rebelled against Robotnik, leading him to have to be downgraded and locked into strictly his Sonic abilities, I do think he can go to Neo, he just isn't allowed to or bound by his programming from doing so
@@ItsChevnotJeff Good point but in the IDW Comics doesn't Neo come back with Eggman's intelligence and undying loyalty to Eggman? He even says that Eggman upgraded him into that form and altered his AI to no longer rebel. Meaning wouldn't Eggman just upgrade Metal into Neo?
@@ItsChevnotJeff True but if one uses a artifacts power. Wouldn't he be able to copy the power or ability he sees being used. It has been a long time since I last played a Sonic game with Metal Sonic in it. Or have I mix up stuff again in my head. I'll have to ask my friend if I'm wrong. He is a lot better at this then me.
If you have read the overlord light novel you would see that Ainz can win with no difficulty. 1. Ainz's skill goal of all life is death ignores any resistance to the point where it was killing inanimate objects like air and ground and he can use any instant death spell including true death. 2. Ainz may not be that smart but he is very good at making people smarter than him make the plan like Demiurge. 3. Lamb's magic may not work on Ainz and his minions with world items. So if you have world items other world items's magical abilities don't work on you this includes the new world's (the world he teleported to when the game shut down) dragon magic. because the lamb and cultist's magic isn't Ainz's original game's magic it counts as different world's magic so it wouldn't do anything to a person with world items.
Keep in mind this is if only Ainz decides to kill the lamb. If Ainz appears it is more likely that he would collect information for months before making a move. I imagine him making a disguise like an Adventurer Momon. And if he thinks the lamb is useful I imagine him and demure starting bines with the lamb. For example Ainz's undead are shown to be very effective for basic physical labor like farming and mining. So he could open a shop where he sells flowers/seed and basic material cheaper than a market price and crating a monopoly. Then he could make the lamb sign a bad deal where the lamb's work force slowly weakens and becomes reliant on his undead to do work. Then the lamb's cult eventually becomes part of his empire. He literally did this to the dwarf empire.
To be fair he didn't actually need to read the light novels to know those things (he would to know details of Dark Sage to steal their abilities like Nightmare, and then just add the Tarots as just another World Item) since majority of that was featured in some manner on the show, which is why I clicked on this video kinda expecting Ainz to be the last challenge. More details on how those abilities worked would be only thing he'd get, and I got that off a Wiki article.
Ainz is represented very poorly! If we were to go over all of his abilities (it would make a whole separate video) he definitely wins against the Lamb! Using anime for information is bad, there's so much cut content it would make a whole separate video! Ainz is leagues above what you're saying!

For Eggman, he won’t even need his army or to even step foot on the island. 2 words: *DEATH EGG* He can fire the Death Egg right when all the cultists, Bishops, & the Lamb are exactly at the cult location and wipe them all out instantly, and the Death Egg makes the Death Star look like a joke. It once obliterated a collection of stars in one blast. Or worse, uses the Phantom Ruby to DROP THE SUN ON THE ISLAND, and the Phantom Ruby can bypass the invincibility of Super Sonic
@@omnipresentl1316 The Lamb dies if he doesn't have any cult members. Eggman glassing the island because all that's valuable to him is the land means that everyone dies, there are no possible new recruits for the cult, and Metal Sonic is more than strong enough and fast enough to just keep kicking the Lamb to death before he can do anything.
I don't know much about Cult of the Lamb, but wouldn't Sage just analyze them as Eggman deploys his fleet on them, running over a thousand simulations upon seeing their various abilities and warn Eggman to stay away leading to your stalemate conclusion? Especially if he deploys Neo Metal Sonic, which he does have access to since he's remade Neo in the IDW comics without the rebellious ai and then Sage just makes the analysis based on how far Neo Metal gets? Love the vids btw.
Not to glaze Ainz or anything but I disagree. Partially, In season 4 Ainz imparts pvp knowledge unto Shalltear and Aura which makes reference to earlier in the show where he teaches common pvp tactics with his subordinates, so I don’t think Ainz the character is becoming the main personality, so to speak, I think they’re merging, Ainz comments on this in season 1 when he’s amazed he doesn’t care when people are being killed, but he is still capable of compassion even in the Sacred Kingdom movie which just came out in theatres, Next, with the PVP knowledge in mind I do believe he would send a skeleton army out to scout the island and see what’s up, although when they get folded I think Ainz would play it smart and only go out as a large group fully equipped with world items(not getting into that), Next, Ainz doesn’t want solely to expand his empire, sure that’s part of it, but he himself has said he really does care for his people and hired adventurers to explore the rest of the world, but not for domination, Next, levels, since he is Ainz he has already been isekaid, what level is the lamb? What level is god? If his level is higher than the lamb then maybe touch of true death would work, And to anyone saying time stop on behalf of the lamb, Ainz has counter spells, because he’s smart, I know the lamb can comeback from the dead but Ainz has a black hole ability, is the lamb black hole resistant?. The reason I said partially at the beginning is because, under no circumstance, would Ainz ever win in this scenario
First the goal of all life is death did not effect on certain bosses such as raid bosses which were sometimes gods. Second true death only prevents ninth tier and below resurrection which gods would have. Also auto resurrection effects cancel out TGOALID. Also the lamb would likely be above level 100 because his power is comparable to world enemies.
@cesarsandelis6379 this is applying overlord logic on to the lamb which doesn't make sense imo. I dont think the lamb would have a level or be recognized as a god tier just like back in YGGDRASIL.
Did you forget that Ainz's undead army is weak because he has weak human corpses. The original reason why he attacket the lizard men was the might make stronger undead. So cultist corpses might make stronger undead.
It's probably fair to include the chaos Emeralds if they are just scattered across the island rather than Eggman starting with them. But he might also be able to use items from the island similarly with enough work, like killing the Lamb and taking the cards before he comes back, and making a fate manipulation device.
Haki should be able to negate any soul or mental attacks if the user is strong enough and has enough willpower (Big Mom is not the only Devil Fruit user who affects souls). Also, future sight should key Akainu into the time stop. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if we see Haki negating time powers in the future. Akainu is at least multi-continent level, possibly even moon level (Luffy's final punch against Kaido was calc'd to be around that, and Luffy is still far from the strongest character in the verse).
Would these Villains (Sonic) Dr Eggman (Megaman) Dr Wily (Mario) Bowser (Ratchet & Clank) Dr Nefarious (Crash Bandicoot) Doctor Neo Cortex (Jak and Daxter) Gol Acheron Survive Skylanders
First, big fan, love the vids, thanks for a new one. Also, a couple of things about Ainz. I feel like you got his personality, motives, and some of his powers a little off. I’ll just go into the combat stuff, since other people have mentioned that stuff already. - He has an ability called The Goal of All Life is Death, which can guarantee his instant death abilities succeed, even bypassing resistances and immunities. If it works on the gods there, he could kill them permanently for sure. - One of his main undead is called a Soul Eater, which can instantly eat and consume any soul within a certain radius of it. Each one is said to be strong enough to wipe out an entire city. Just a couple of them could 100% wipe out the fodder and cultists and stuff. Even if it wasn’t the Soul Eaters, his standard undead are like level 20, and he can still summon a lot of higher leveled undead up to 5 times stronger than his fodder, plus all sorts of other monsters like dragons and magic beasts. - Ainz has access to things called World Items, which are said to hold the power of an entire world in each. For example, one item is called Longinus, and can instantly kill anything at the cost of the wielders life. He said before he could use a summoned guy to use it and wipe out a powerful enemy. - Finally, Ainz has a ring called Wish Upon a Star, and he could literally just wish the gods out of existence, steal all of their power, or immediately wipe out all life on the island. Ainz can stop time, instant kill, make any wish he wants to, is immune to weak magic and physical attacks, can summon undead nearly as powerful as himself, and can even revive his NPCs or allies whenever, it’s kinda unfair to put him against most any other world or series because of his crazy hax.
On Dr Eggmans case I think MTG made a fair point in that gods get their power from the followers. If Eggman kills or robotifies their followers the bishops and the lamb would lose
The thing about Ainz is that his first instinct is to always gather information. Where is he, who are his neighbors, what can they do, etc. Additionally, his main goal is to make Nazarick prosper. Put those two things together, and I would argue that it is possible that Ainz would ally himself with either the Bishops or the Lamb, depending on how each of those first encounters go. He actually does this in the anime where he allies himself with the Baharuth Empire. Yes, later on the Empire does become a vassal of Nazarick, but at that point in time that wasn't Ainz's plan. And keep in mind, that was a WEAKER faction. There isn't a lot of evidence in the show to indicate how he'd behave around a stronger power.
if the lamb wants an ironic ending to robotnik. he'd make him a mobien(race sonic and the others are at least in some of the comics and animated shows).
I'm pretty sure the sacrifices in cult of the lamb don't count as human sacrifices, because... they're anthropomorphic animals... Kinda need to be humans to be human sacrifices. Can't believe I spelt anthropomorphic right first try...
27:18 Eggman is a super genius I’m sure given enough time and research he could invent something to permanently put down the Lamb and the Bishops I mean he made a device that stopped Super Sonic and removed the Chaos Emeralds from him and Super Sonic has beaten gods before some of I’m like 90% sure could could solo the Cult of the Lamb Universe
The Displacement trap which scatters an individual's matter, turning them into intangible beings, could work on the Lamb. It doesn't kill them so the Lamb wouldn't resurrect, so unless he starves to death, he'd be trapped forever or until something happens to Eggman's tech
First off as much as I love Overlord I don't think he could win. However, Ainz absolutely could lay low on the island without starting a war, his biggest goal is protecting his friends legacy and once the intel gathering shows how dangerous the world is he would most likely lock down his home he as is a pvp strategist and overcautious with experience in large scale conflict. The problem is his second goal is to spread his name in case any of his friends are out there. When he expressed this thought one of the npcs misinterpreted that as "I want to take over the world" since that is who they think he is so I think some of the npcs might drag him into a war because they think that's what he wants. Being undead suppresses his stronger emotions, the rest of his behavioral changes is him acting to meet those expectations because a part of them is afraid the npcs will not like him and turn on him.
The boss growing to the size of a mountain was was dramatics in a way of depicting him as an opposing threat. He can’t get that size because he would do it again with his life on the line and he didn’t
For the overlord one, Ainz has abilities that bypass all immunities and resistances. Since we are only using stuff from the anime here (Not the light novel) then him casting Cry of the Banshee and the Goal Of All Life Is Death, would kill EVERYTHING around Ainz, even the air (How the fuck do you kill Air?) and then Ainz just needs to cast True Death on everyone so they don't come back. Light Novel Ainz would have an easier time since he has a special ability called Dark Sage, where he can take every ability, talent and magic of anyone he kills and adds it to his own spell/talent list. (This ability allowed him to go over the Games limit of spells that a player could own). So I think anime Ainz still would if not out right defeat this world in the beginning, he is not being beaten either. At best it would be a stalemate for both sides (Until Albedo or Demiurge create a beautiful plan (That is actually Ainz's plan, somehow) and conquer everything).
Honestly think that Ainz's army would do way better than credited, cause they dont merely consist of skeletons that are comparable to normal humans, but rather have alot of monsters stronger than super human adventurers who can break things tougher than steel if not have the AoE to devastate a town + hax. When this is talking about anime only. That said, fair enough about Ainz's limits on fighting the gods. Can't think of much counters when limited to the stuff the anime provides. Although I wonder how useful Transmog really is, when it doesnt even work on mortal boss level characters IIRC. Also, do they really have death immunity rather than resistance, if they still can be killed in a sense?
This isnt mentioned in the anime but ainz' army is a lot more than a few skeletons. Ainz has 11 lvl 100 npc who are each comparable/stronger than ainz. He has all the equipment from his lvl 100 friends (around 40 sets of armour/swords/etc). Nazarick was also able to stop a 1500 people raid consisting of players and npcs. Some of those players were also very high lvl (between lvl 60-100 probably). Every single raider was stopped in the 8th floor. Every floor also has multiple monsters who are very high level. This is also not including wish upon a star and his world items which can alter reality. One of his npc, rubedo, can also basically one tap ainz himself. Nazarick is also self sufficient, they can make an infinite amount of low-mid tier soldiers every day. This also includes items like healing potions and spell scrolls. Ainz can also make the death knights of every person he kills. In his kingdom, he already has over 1000. The thing with them is that they can 100% survive a one hit ko attack, so they are very good meatshields.Tbh ainz wouldn't even go to war with the lamb or the other ones. He would most likely just send some scouts and study the others' movements. After that he would either try to trade with them or make an alliance. Ainz only goes to war if he knows the enemy is weak or if he 100% knows he can beat them. If he isnt sure he wont even fight them and just retreat.
In terms of Robotnik/Eggman's case, I think that depending on what's given to him is how well he's really going to fair in the world of Cult of The Lamb. Robotnik is a man of machines and technology and in the original games, he was able to power up his Badniks with living creatures and later on in the series, turn living creatures into robots via things like the metal virus. In Cult of The Lamb, it's specifically stated that they don't know anything about science (as shown in the flavor text from the Don't Starve items). So depending on where he's sourcing his power from is how well his plans to conquer the land becomes. If they are purely robots with no living power whatsoever, then a lot of the abilities shown by The Lamb and The Bishops of The Old Faith would not be able to work on them. However, it doesn't mean that they can't fight and be a good match up against such enemies. On the other hand, if Eggman is using living creatures in his robots in order to power them then I think that could be a big downfall for him. I'm unsure of if the power of the crowns can penetrate through metal but if it can, then any and all powers that The Lamb and The Bishops have are still 100% available. If they can't, but they end up destroying a few and figuring out that, then they could destroy a good number and indoctrinate all the creatures they can.
just putting this here as i watch to say im soo hyped to see cult of the lamb back, i appreciate the fact that you havent forgotten it even though you obviously move on to other stuff for your own sanity and to not remain in a box, cant wait to see what ainz does here
Long time listener first time commentor. Ainz would win. Others have mentioned how. But I think if you are going to reference the comic for Cult of Lamb, then you have to use the Light novel o Overlord which has so much more detailed information about his powers and his diplomatic abilities.
Okay I know you're using the anime but you're misunderstanding Ainz character. I'm just going to use the anime since you didn't read the light novel. Even in the anime he doesn't think he's his character him being Undead is nerfing his emotions. Also since the NPCs think he's a evil overlord he's playing as a evil overlord. NPCs that are alive he sees them as his children and his friends children and he doesn't want to disappoint them or have them turn on him. That's why he does the stuff he does. Also he never goes into an encounter without doing research or his people doing research. It even shows in the anime he sets up purpose. First he will send scouts or before he even attacks anything. He will also come up with a reason to fight them cuz if he has no reason he won't conquer them. As soon as he gathers enough information and realize is something he can't fight against he will try to team up with them. Also he will make a scenario where he would get close to the lamb and be friends with them. With all the smart people around him they were realize they will have a slim chance of winning with the anime only so they would do things to get the lamb or the others in their favor. He'll probably play the waiting game and find a way to get as much power as the lamb or try to steal it from him and if he doesn't his close support units will.
so i'm a bit late to this discussion, but i think that the gods empowering the cultists count as "outside shit" so for the purposes of Eggman, i don't think it's that crazy to give him stuff like the chaos emeralds, but giving him all his 1-time powerups is both sill and boringly unfair.
The gods don’t empower him. He has the Red Crown that gives him his power. Think Thor’s Hammer. It’s a part of his normal arsenal. It would be like not giving Robotnik any of his mechs.
Akainu might do two things: 1. Approach pirates with an invitation to a feast, and then present an offer of a pardon in exchange for helping the Marines stop the Cultists while they are dining. Luffy might take them up on their offer once the Marines explain just how bad the island is 2. Might appraoch the Lamb with an offer of aid. The Lamb is the lesser of the the
Interesting. What do you think of Eggmans special displacement traps or metal virus from idw since those could be helpful against immortals. Also you are correct metal sonic can move through time stops since he did it in shadow generations. Edit. Eggman can also make phantom ruby prototypes that can send people to null space. Thanks for the video.
Im not sure if it'd work, but Ainz in the anime has a spell called "The Goal of all Life is Death" which I think can be used once per day? 3 days? Idk, but it bypasses all death resistance regardless of immunity? I think. Edit: To clarify, it pairs with any *death* spell to bypass all immunities with the condition that it takes extra time to use the spell.
The goal of all life is death does instantly kill someone. However, it doesn't stop someone being resurrected like we see in the fight against Shalltear
@@Xeraghusta he’s got a diferent spell for that and he was staunchly hoping to be able to resurrect her afterwards so using true death was out of the question

Me thinks that even if Nightmare ran into the lamb, Soul edge would likely fall into the hands of the lamb, and over time turn the lamb into the new nightmare
Come on man Eggman is faster than Sonic clearly. So he just stays far away until he makes a reality altering machine who removes Lamb from reality smh.
Ainz is prep death utility build character, unless the Bishop or the lamb tries to fuck him first, ainz wont do shit. plus if he knows how strong the bishop/lamb he litteraly wont fight them unless he has the chances to win
He literally starts season 1 by attacking a defenseless town and killing unarmed civilians. It’s been shown throughout the seasons he is the aggressor and completely fine with attacking first.
@@rougarabid attacking a defensless town in season 1? nope, he's "Protecting" a defenseless town from "Evil" soldier. and the reason he do that is because he feels owned for being saved by touch me when he still a low lv noob, so he saved that village, unless ainz feels sorry/pity for those "animals" in the word of CoTL he will not do shit that harm his guild like trying to fuck with the bishop cult
Here’s an idea, remember when Scarlet Witch raids Kamtash (Dr. Strange’s temple)? See if these sanctuary would survive her. Hogwarts, Jedi temple, Helms Deep, Basengsei and more.
I think you should take infinite into consideration when talking about Eggman, with the phantom Ruby he managed to take down sonic, shadow, and silver in one on one combat, and take over the entirety of mobius
Eggman too can kidnap all the cultists and put them in their machines or just keep them in his navi away from the main island, if he sees the lamb resurect the cultists and discover that he needs them to been alive, he just send all of his robots, not to kill the cultist but insted to kipnap them, Eggman even can bring his death egg and just chill out in the orbit of the planet, the lamb soon will be out of followers because their will be no more followers to resurct, they are not dead they are just in space Also the metal virus is a thing, it can transform biological matter into metal and convert them into zombies, not sure if the lamb can resist that or even if that count as dead Also, also Eggman has Sage an IA that can make millions of strategies, she can make a good plan to Eggman
@ How does Kirby win but Sonic doesn’t? Not downplaying Kirby but Sonic has a lot more impressive feats than him. And I don’t know jack about Mario scaling, so I can’t speak on that, but Link is getting the sh*t slapped out of him.
Eggman and Nightmare are probably the two best people to win because Eggman as ways of just ending fights (metal virus) or just sending in a decoy of himself to avoid being transformed and Nightmare… is Nightmare, literally anything short of destroying the soul corrupting sword will kill him, but who’s going to do that before it temps you? Also, are we only using video game Eggman or Eggman from the comic (or both, both is good too), because Comics Eggman would steamroll through the Land of the Old Faith.
im just not gonna say anything besides i think you sold people short, well one in particular, not naming names, but yeah anyway im glad CotL is back, the video quality was as great as always and i cant wait for the next survival challenge
Ok, so we know that if the lamb loses all of his followers, the lamb can then die. With that I think Robotnik could win by destroying the planet. Even if the lamb would survive without oxygen (although we have no idea if it’s just because his powers allow him to breathe water or just not breathe in general) the destruction of the planet would kill pretty much everyone. Sure, the lamb can revive people, but it takes at least a 3 day cooldown to do it again. It only takes 2 days without followers to have the lamb die. And although both “technically” have “undying armies” Robotnik can mass produce his at a faster rate while again the Lamb has a cooldown. If Robotnik is smart enough not to visit the lamb in person, I think he could win this battle.
The lamb has to have all his followers be dead for three days for that to affect him and he can bring them back to life. He can also travel to other universes so he could really just go to another universe, then resurrect them and he’ll be fine.
@@rougarabidUnless if I am missing something, when is it shown that he can “travel to other universes”? I’ve never seen it as an ability in the game and the only thing I can think of is the goat somehow accessing his dimension through his blood in some sort of accident. I can’t think of a time where he can travel through multiple universes willingly where he can also resurrect followers in that other universe. Without the “alternate universe resurrection” I think Robotnik takes it by simply having an army that can produce units faster. I think he could get the lamb into a position where the world is destroyed and he just send and endless army of robots to kill any survivors, along with killing newly resurrected ones. And if we are willing to add “Sonic Comic” lore, the metal virus is a very dangerous counter to the lamb, being able to transmogrify living organisms into metallic matter making the lambs followers into enemies that cannot be resurrected.
Ok I get what your saying but why would Eggman blow up the planet? Like his goal here is to presumably conquer the Isles, if it is destroyed then what is the point of even going there?
@@peterdarker3863I mean if his army isn’t enough to take out the Lamb, and the lamb could still prove to be a threat to him in the future, then might as well destroy an enemy so they cannot team up on you in the future.
I have feeling dr.eggman would probably plan first before he would actually do anything he did this before but I'm not saying he could win because i don't really know. Because dr.eggman has controlled god like beings before so he could theoretically control the lamb like he did the time eater. But Could he? No clue because I'm not really a powerscaler.
honesty i think eggman takes it or not mostly because i see his daughter sage warning him about there magic so im pretty sure eggman would just stay away and come up with a plane to control there magic powers or just find away kill them permanently he did find away to control a time god and found a way to depower super sonic i dont know why he couldn't just do it to them, he could just also make the metal virus he made to turn them into his zombies or send out shadow robots or just trap them and i think eggman might have like 2 or 1 phantom ruby's because he made copies so that could also help in the fight, and eggmans a genius he did find away to time travel in the future and the past and has a weapon to revers time and has shrink rays, and also a bunch of big death egg robots to stop them and, also eggman doesn't really have to be there, sage and metal sonic could just pilot most of eggmans robots suits or lead there army's like they done before or just eggman could turn him to neo metal sonic who can copy anyone ability like there magic he was able to copy chaos control so i don't see why he couldn't copy there magic, eggman would just be chilling in the death watching all of them do the work so thats why i see eggman man taking it but its just what i think i could be wrong but what eggman has i dont really see him having a hard time taking them over.
Wouldn't Eggman be unintentionally weakling the lamb, if his robots go out and sarts burning stuff, blowing stuff up, and killing people then eventually the Lamb won't have any followers left yes theres the whole three days thing and he can come back to life but if his followers are dead wouldn't that severely hinder the Lamb
The lambs camp is mystically hidden so much so that the bishops who have omniscient across the island can’t find it. The lamb can also resurrect his dead followers.
Dont know much about Cult of the Lamb but I feel like too much of these conquerers answers is “kill the immortal death god”. Im pretty sure someone like eggman would&could trap someone like the lamb if he can catch characters like sonic
Also there is relics to consider alas Tooth can just instantly zap every enemy with lightning doing insane damage. They are all cooked lamb and bishops are cooking them.
Firstly, it's pronounced "Tear-Oh". Secondly, if the Bishops and the Lamb have the ability to resist magic/magical abilities, then Nightmare probably cannot copy their abilities. If Nightmare can copy their abilities, then it happens mostly as you said it does.
Inside of every egg robot soldier is a little woodland critter so the lamb could just either kill or subjugate them ( maybe not since they're not sentient animals they're just basic squirrels, birds, and stuff like that). So the egg man army isn't that big of a threat either.
Typical Rouga, he doesn't want to read manga or LN, but he has no problem teading comics. It is really unfair You also got Ainz completly wrong. First of all, he is not evil, he just doesn't feel any strong emotions, in the way that could cloud his judgment, but it doesn't make him evil. Second of all, he never wanted to rule the word, it is all Demiurge plan, because he misunderstood Ainz. Ainz mostly wants to chill, protect and improve Nazarick and gain more knowledge
Egg man is a super genius he might see that the lamb needs his followers so if he kills him and then have his robots attack him then he could kill him that way. That an also if eggman went to cult of the lamb then sonic would and what would he do
No, we can’t. The lambs Camp is hidden mystically, and none of the bishops despite having omniscience across the whole island are able to find it. Besides even if all the lambs followers do die, he still has three days before that actually kills him and he can resurrect them.
@@rougarabidDoes that stuff work on AI? If the Lamb keeps coming back to fight off badniks, Eggman would know the lamb has some weird ability to come back from the dead and would try to find out more about it. Sage could eventually be able to discern possible locations as to where the lamb keeps coming from. Eggman could probably summon thousands of drones to search the area and eventually, they'll find the lamb's base. Even if Eggman himself isn't able to somehow perceive the location, he could still have Sage be the one to command an army to take over the location.
Question is we know Haki can overpower some devil fruit effects. Does that extend to other things like the powers here? Basically, is that a property of Haki to overpower hacks, or of Devil Fruits to be overpowered by willpower? Also, not sure it matters, but would they get people like the God Knights or Gorosei? Or that big super weapon (either Pluton or Uranus, keep mixing them up).
Magic essence-greater break item. Boom red crown is destroyed. Ainz Ooal Gown has fought and outwitted entities that have killed players for centuries, he is outright prepping to fight entities that are equal or stronger than him, his army is literally never ending pop monsters and summons, some of which are similar levels to himself and can be buffed by his own abilities. His intelligence as a player and conqueror are some of the best in all anime, outright acting like something hurts him while pretending what does hurt him doesn't. Watching doubles fight enemies to learn from them. Most importantly, we have yet to see Ainz go all out. World level items, the strongest entity in all Nazarick Rubedo, and Nazarick itself. Which repelled an assault of over a thousand players and equal NPC mercenaries. Imagine an army of over a thousand people and npc mercs like Ainz attacking the cult. If they could beat them BEFORE the final boss. Then they're equal to Ainz.
In a recent comic run, robotic had his mind fucked and became a good guy. Metal sonic just took over as leader. Killing robotnic isn't even a wincon here. Plus u didn't factor in sage
Now I get to bitch about Ainz. Ignoring our slightly different interpretations of Ainz's mental state, The Goal of All Life is Death is a super tier spell that ignores an undead's natural immunity to death magic. It's the spell he used against Shalltear to end that fight in season one. Assuming he can pull it off, that should kill anyone its used against.
It doesn’t negate resurrection. Shalltear was able to come back. Lamb is a death god who is both immune to Death Manipulation and has resurrection. Ainz doesn’t have an ability that can negate both at once only one at a time.
@@rougarabid The Goal of All Life is Death is a Death buff spell not and attack spell so ainz can buff his true death using TGOALID to kill the endlessly resurrected bishop, the only drawback is he need 12 second for the skill to activate after being cast, so unless the bishop can kill ainz in 12 sec he's good to go
Guess I have a lot to say for this video. In the old games all of Eggman's robots had small animals inside them and I'm pretty sure the robots were powered by the small animals, somehow. So what would happen if Eggman started capturing cultists and built robots around them? Also Metal Sonic solos. GG EZ.
Could robotic permanently capture/imprison them if he can’t kill them? Maybe even then use them to make a new one off super weapon like with the Time Eater? Also, can Metal Sonic copy their powers over time?
Yep a return to the survival challenge that started it all…

Why would the Marines not just use a buster call after captains start to die?
@@alexgreer6336 I already gave the Marines their entire army for the invasion. A Buster Call wouldn’t add anything to their numbers.
You forgot to mention that egg man is known to kidnap animals and uses them to power up some of his robots, all the cultists are animals just saying
Day 7 of asking for Helldivers vs edf
in one piece, it is sayed that emperor haki (the one used to make ennemies faint) can be used to resist or negate effects of devils fruits (if the effect is on them), so we can say this haki is able to immune the owner from black magic if he is strong enough, no soul steal at least, dunno for time manipulation
but we dont know if akainu have this haki, and we know other amirals dont have it, so it will not change anything
but if an emperor is crossing this portal, then it is another story, some of them may be able to beat them :)
He would probably start to harbest their devotion (and probably turn a part of the island into a park)
Eggman has been showed (just like super earth) to grab other people hacks and add hims to his arsenal, I think he should be able to create shields and barriers against the magic of the land.
A few corrections about Ainz:
He has absolutely no desire to conquer the world, he made a joke but the NPCs take everything he says too seriously and by the time he learns about the plan he was too embarrassed to admit to it.
Man this made me really like Ainz when I first saw this video he makes Ainz sound kinda boring but reading this he seems way cooler now.
@@superkgaming8305
Ainz is probably one of the best written protagonist I have ever seen.
Ainz the GOAT
"If you clicked on this video you know what haki is."
Yeah I know what that is. It's that sport Canadians get BIG mad aboot.
Ainz is represented very poorly! If we were to go over all of his abilities (it would make a whole separate video) he definitely wins against the Lamb!
Using anime for information is bad, there's so much cut content it would make a whole separate video! Ainz is leagues above what you're saying!

Aragon i feel like would kick ass
For Eggman, he won’t even need his army or to even step foot on the island. 2 words:
*DEATH EGG*
He can fire the Death Egg right when all the cultists, Bishops, & the Lamb are exactly at the cult location and wipe them all out instantly, and the Death Egg makes the Death Star look like a joke. It once obliterated a collection of stars in one blast.
Or worse, uses the Phantom Ruby to DROP THE SUN ON THE ISLAND, and the Phantom Ruby can bypass the invincibility of Super Sonic
In all fairness that still wouldn't KILL the Lamb. It would hurt him and possibly bypass his defenses but it won't kill him for good.
Also...it wouldn't be in eggmans style to just use a hax
“Not to glaze Ainz” Proceeds to glaze Ainz
First the goal of all life is death did not effect on certain bosses such as raid bosses which were sometimes gods.
Second true death only prevents ninth tier and below resurrection which gods would have.
Also auto resurrection effects cancel out TGOALID.
Also the lamb would likely be above level 100 because his power is comparable to world enemies.
@cesarsandelis6379 this is applying overlord logic on to the lamb which doesn't make sense imo. I dont think the lamb would have a level or be recognized as a god tier just like back in YGGDRASIL.
@@ulkeryl
Wild magic using dragon lords are recognized as having levels and are immune to TGOALID.
So I would assume that the same applies.
Did you forget that Ainz's undead army is weak because he has weak human corpses. The original reason why he attacket the lizard men was the might make stronger undead. So cultist corpses might make stronger undead.
i would have NEVER guessed that EGGMAN WOULD BE THE KEY HERE.

I'll answer this right now, Bowser ABSOLUTELY clears Skylanders. He tanked getting sucked into an actual black hole before on more than one occasion.
I love your cult of the lamb content!! keep it up man!!❤
On Dr Eggmans case I think MTG made a fair point in that gods get their power from the followers. If Eggman kills or robotifies their followers the bishops and the lamb would lose
If there was one character that could survive if not outright conquer the COTL universe, it would most certainly be the Doom Slayer.
Wow, literally everything you said about Ainz was wrong. I'm not even mad, that was impressive, I am impressed.
His names not Ainz?
@rougarabid Not the way you botched the pronunciation.
So excited! Ive been craving Eggman lately after the Death battle, hope you do more in the future ~
if the lamb wants an ironic ending to robotnik. he'd make him a mobien(race sonic and the others are at least in some of the comics and animated shows).
I wondered why Bowser isn't here, but then remember that Bowser and his Koopa Troop would be overkill.
I'm pretty sure the sacrifices in cult of the lamb don't count as human sacrifices, because... they're anthropomorphic animals... Kinda need to be humans to be human sacrifices.
Can't believe I spelt anthropomorphic right first try...
*spell
(Sorry, I just had to)
27:18 Eggman is a super genius I’m sure given enough time and research he could invent something to permanently put down the Lamb and the Bishops I mean he made a device that stopped Super Sonic and removed the Chaos Emeralds from him and Super Sonic has beaten gods before some of I’m like 90% sure could could solo the Cult of the Lamb Universe
That is not how true death works. It is an instant death spell with an added effect.
I honestly feel Eggman would be chilling for a while as long as he's able to build Eggman land without opposition.
Basically for the Marines mooks, every fight's a Dark Souls fight.
One of the rando death knights just casually blocking machine gun fire for like five seconds with swords
Would Balalaika from Black Lagoon survived Arkham City?
Oh shit, that's a good idea
Lovecraft Universe vs DeadSpace or Doom Universe !! Love your videos Ruga
Akainu might do two things:
1. Approach pirates with an invitation to a feast, and then present an offer of a pardon in exchange for helping the Marines stop the Cultists while they are dining. Luffy might take them up on their offer once the Marines explain just how bad the island is
26:08 My mustache looks like GRASS
That thing about Eggman's army gave me a question:
What about the decepticons?
They're all robots
They have souls.
@cesarsandelis6379 wait until you hear about Megatron from age of extinction
Metal Sonic is so overplayed with how powerful he is. He hasn't done anything since Sonic Heroes in 2003.
Super Neo Metal Sonic from the canon Sonic IDW Comics goes *BRRRRRRRRR!*
His whole build side steps death resistances, not to mention he does have spells that prevent resurrection and destroy souls
@Xeraghusta Wrong! It allows whatever instant death spell to bypass all immunities, so true death paired with it guarantees a death forever.
@@Xeraghusta It's paired with an instant death spell to bypass immunities. Shriek(?) of the Banshee is one of those spells which he used against Shalltear. He used that spell so he COULD revive her after.
One thing you are forgetting is that the lamb depending on the time it takes place. The lamb has a “deal” with ???, And ??? calls him an infant God, but for some reason needs the lamb so I don’t think ??? Will let any invasion slide
My only question is why this theme specifically? I thought the theme with the original Cult of the Lamb videos were that they were indie games.
@@rougarabid
He kills the knights who were attacking the town lmao, he SAVES the town, are you okay?
Here’s an idea, remember when Scarlet Witch raids Kamtash (Dr. Strange’s temple)? See if these sanctuary would survive her. Hogwarts, Jedi temple, Helms Deep, Basengsei and more.
If Rouga ever does this again or maybe even a reading comics i hope he does archie comics Dr.Eggman
I think you should take infinite into consideration when talking about Eggman, with the phantom Ruby he managed to take down sonic, shadow, and silver in one on one combat, and take over the entirety of mobius
Welp fair every time I watch your vids I end up either happily wrong and agree or have more questions than answers love your vids man❤
Aniz has soul destruction. Bishops go pop.
Eggman too can kidnap all the cultists and put them in their machines or just keep them in his navi away from the main island, if he sees the lamb resurect the cultists and discover that he needs them to been alive, he just send all of his robots, not to kill the cultist but insted to kipnap them, Eggman even can bring his death egg and just chill out in the orbit of the planet, the lamb soon will be out of followers because their will be no more followers to resurct, they are not dead they are just in space
Also the metal virus is a thing, it can transform biological matter into metal and convert them into zombies, not sure if the lamb can resist that or even if that count as dead
Also, also Eggman has Sage an IA that can make millions of strategies, she can make a good plan to Eggman
Honestly a sleeper option eggman has is sage i mean she's essentially the ultimate strategist
Could these gaming icons survive the DOOM invasion?
Link
Mario
Kirby
Sonic
IDK
yes?
no
Throw in Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy
Kirby sweeps because of what he actually is, the rest don’t.
@ How does Kirby win but Sonic doesn’t? Not downplaying Kirby but Sonic has a lot more impressive feats than him. And I don’t know jack about Mario scaling, so I can’t speak on that, but Link is getting the sh*t slapped out of him.
Happy to see Eggman wasn't the first on out in this challenge and had a feeling Nightmare was going to excel in this
Eggman and Nightmare are probably the two best people to win because Eggman as ways of just ending fights (metal virus) or just sending in a decoy of himself to avoid being transformed and Nightmare… is Nightmare, literally anything short of destroying the soul corrupting sword will kill him, but who’s going to do that before it temps you?
Also, are we only using video game Eggman or Eggman from the comic (or both, both is good too), because Comics Eggman would steamroll through the Land of the Old Faith.
im just not gonna say anything besides i think you sold people short, well one in particular, not naming names, but yeah anyway
im glad CotL is back, the video quality was as great as always and i cant wait for the next survival challenge
I wonder what would happen if eggman released the metal virus on the island
15:20 correction: ainz is not in YGGDRASIL. There is plenty of evidence across multiple episodes especially season 2 episode 1 that prove this point.
I said this…in the part of the video you linked…
Rouga!!
I love this shit!
@@rougarabidOK that makes sense
Baby Oil Supreme I am inevitable
Dont know much about Cult of the Lamb but I feel like too much of these conquerers answers is “kill the immortal death god”. Im pretty sure someone like eggman would&could trap someone like the lamb if he can catch characters like sonic
25:14 his power would already be multiplied by big numbers.
I would like for him to do an analysis of the Lamb versus Mammoth Mogul. See what he thinks of that one.
Also there is relics to consider alas
Tooth can just instantly zap every enemy with lightning doing insane damage.
They are all cooked lamb and bishops are cooking them.
22:48 I swear, I can't unhear this part with the SnapCube Fandub audio XD
"Oh my god, my mustache looks like fucking grass!"
I wonder, neo metal sonic can copy the abilities of people like Sonic and shadow, so could he copy the abilities of the bishops or the lamb?
Their powers don’t come from them. They come from their crowns. So most likely not.
Firstly, it's pronounced "Tear-Oh".
Secondly, if the Bishops and the Lamb have the ability to resist magic/magical abilities, then Nightmare probably cannot copy their abilities. If Nightmare can copy their abilities, then it happens mostly as you said it does.
Once again gonna say you should put the Holy Nation from Kenshi in this situation.
Will you put fate/natsuvers in survival chalanges?
Inside of every egg robot soldier is a little woodland critter so the lamb could just either kill or subjugate them ( maybe not since they're not sentient animals they're just basic squirrels, birds, and stuff like that). So the egg man army isn't that big of a threat either.
Eggman started to stop using animals after Sonic Adventure.
How would Kamijou Touma or Asta do in Cult of the Lamb?
I don't think Ains would want to achieve World Domination in cult of the lamb. So long as they don't fuck with him first.
If anything, he'd probably just try to befriend/form an alliance with the Lamb. "Our interests overlap, Little one... What say you..."
I USED TO PRAY FOR TIMES LIKE THIS
Would a cyborg vs robot battle be a good idea?
Typical Rouga, he doesn't want to read manga or LN, but he has no problem teading comics. It is really unfair
You also got Ainz completly wrong.
"Oh ye-yeah" -Bonesaw
I would say in overlord we havent actually seen anz use his full power and all his hacks ability so we dont actually know how powerful ANZ
He hasn't fought at full power
in term of stats we knows, but in term of how much ainz can fuck his oppenent using variety of different skills/magic/equipment/ways then we dont
What happens if the demon invasion from doom comes to the island of the Cult of the Lamb?
I think you should do a can they beat nightmare that would be so interesting.🧐
@@rougarabid The Goal of All Life is Death is a Death buff spell not and attack spell so ainz can buff his true death using TGOALID to kill the endlessly resurrected bishop, the only drawback is he need 12 second for the skill to activate after being cast, so unless the bishop can kill ainz in 12 sec he's good to go
If the gods are immune to the corruption, could the strike a deal and wield Nightmare?
Guess I have a lot to say for this video. In the old games all of Eggman's robots had small animals inside them and I'm pretty sure the robots were powered by the small animals, somehow. So what would happen if Eggman started capturing cultists and built robots around them? Also Metal Sonic solos. GG EZ.
Eggman could just hide in space and blow up the island hes not dumb. His robots and machines are strong enough to do that 1000s of times over
Could robotic permanently capture/imprison them if he can’t kill them? Maybe even then use them to make a new one off super weapon like with the Time Eater?
Also, can Metal Sonic copy their powers over time?
