The point you’re making at around 31:00 is why I appreciate the dlc ending even though it was depressing and felt like bullshit. V lives but at the cost of being forced to be an npc for the rest of his life. Should’ve valued being remembered or family above survival after all.

Dude V is such a deep and complicated character. I loved the grapple with change. We truly are constantly shifting and changing into someone else.

I think Temperance is actually the best ending for Corpo V. Though in a comfortable position, Corpo V is kind of miserable at the start of the game, he throws up in the bathroom, is taking jobs he has no choice in taking, it takes a toll on him, he even has a therapist in the form of his "life coach". In his conversation with Jackie V can acknowledge this, Jackie continually warns him, tells him how he's selling his soul to the corporations. When V gets everything taken away from him it's a second chance, Jackie tells him himself that he got control of his life again. Now Corpo V can either choose to get back what he had, which what was outlined in the video, OR he could choose to never have his life be determined by corporations again. His goal then is to find a new purpose, he becomes a merc mostly to get back on his feet, he then adopts the mentality most mercs have which is to eventually become a legend. Though his desires aren't all that his, I saw it as V doing it for Jackie, his way of repaying him for helping him get his life again. When Jackie dies Corpo V doesn't really have much to live for, but when Johnny comes around V finds a new goal. Sure V wants to live, get Johnny out of his head but I think that reasoning was a means to an end. As V's bond with Johnny develops V comes to see that Johnny has a lot more to live for than V does. Corpo V had wasted most of his life for a corporation that didn't care about him, but given the choice to live a few more months or give Johnny another chance of life, he chooses to give Johnny a second chance the way Jackie helped him get his. His arc then becomes of someone regaining control of their life and choosing to do right for the people he cares about instead of himself.

I loved this game and played it from release. Sad it didn't get the attention it deserved and like you said games today that use a similar concept just aren't as good.

It takes a certain distance for a bullet to reach max velocity. Therefore it makes no sense at all that ceremite can be punctured by small arms at a point blank range. That is someone who has no knowledge of firearms pulling some shit out of their ass and shouldn't be included in the armor evaluation.

What if the mass relay reduces the mass of the projectile to zero only inside the gun barrel, and as soon as the projectile leaves the barrel and gains speed, the mass returns and the momentum of the projectile increases many times over.

There are some suits in Helldivers, specifically from the viper commandos warbond that have exposed skin. Specifically they don’t have sleeves. Based on how much I’ve played, I’ve seen a decent amount of players with those types of armor, so I gotta assume they are numerous enough to potentially get time powers. Also, super earth is INSANELY quick when it comes to making new, specialized armor to suit a specific environment or threat, as shown from the recent illuminate attacks, so I really feel like they can come up with some type of armor that allows them to get the time powers. Also also, don’t you think that super earth could mass produce time traveling helldivers just by directly injecting captured blood from the few helldivers who DO manage to get time travel powers coincidentally?

I honestly prefer these character analysis vids then the vs videos, the only reason why I even watch the vs videos is when you talk about the characters and their respective stories, I hope you continue with this series (unlike the tournament videos) even thought these videos on average don't get as many views.
