I really loved Shifu's reaction when po tells him that he knows that he won't be like the Furious Five, or be great as him. But he tells him when everytime he calls him names, fat, disgusting, clumsy, and smells. Or that he kept beating him up and kick him all the way in the very long stairs. Which pretty much hurt him a little and alot, but nothing could not stop of being himself, and he never gives up and always keep standing. And tells him that he always dreamed of becoming a kung fu fighter, but knows he can't changed himself but was hoping that Master Shifu, the world greatest Kung Fu teacher could have changed Po what he always wanted to be. And then Shifu realization starts there, that he was judging him in the outside but never looked close on the inside.

Yeah. 😂😂😂. The irony is that Shifu thinks Po is just a lazy fat panda but Po is the one training to be a Kung Fu warrior and Shifu can’t even bother to try and train him cause he just sees it as too much effort to turn a physique ill suited for fighting into a temple.

@@stopper0203 It‘s either that you are attracted to the wrong people, or it‘s something about you that they are too embarrassed to say, like that you maybe lack hygiene or you appear insecure (people are too afraid to admit that they would not want to hang out with someone that has problems themselves). Could also be that you dump too much emotional problems on them which makes them associate you with drama etc which is exhausting to people??
It could also be that you talk too much about yourself, you behave like a narcissist, you make your insecurities visible to other people, but these are all less likely…
Anyways I can‘t tell you the answer but maybe you can self-reflect. If you really depend on other people to find out what‘s wrong with you, you either can‘t self-reflecting, which in itself repulses people most of the time, or you think you are perfect and like to play the victim role, which also repulses people. No offense of course, I do not know you so you shouldn‘t take any of this personal, just stating what could be wrong.

My best bet is that what I think and feel internally is not communicated externally, leading to miscommunications in social interactions. This could cause others to interpret my actions and motivations differently to what they actually are. So right now, I'm paying close attention to myself so that I can communicate precisely and avoid misunderstandings. Anyway, I appreciate the free therapy 😂! I wouldn't call anything coming out of Rick's mouth as wisdom. Dude is smart, not wise. Pure nihilistic rationality is no way of living your life, and proof of that is Rick himself, and how miserable his life is, despite his mastery over the material world.

@bunnyconcubus8468 I was referring to the nonsense he is saying about love being nothing but "chemical reactions in the brain" that leads us to reproduce and that's it. There is nothing deep or profound or philosophical about that stance, it is just a superficial, vapid, cynical sleight of hand trick. Reducing meaningful things to the bare sum of their parts doesn't make what you are saying "smart" or "wise", everybody can do that with anything. But people like Rick use that cheap trick, because it absolves them from responsibility.
There are 2 ways to live life:
1- You live as if nothing matters, so that you can do whatever you want, without responsibility or care (the path of cowards)
2- You live as if EVERYTHING matters, and recognize that each of your actions echo and send ripples throughout the universe (the path of heroes).

@@JavierGomezX You're putting a lot of weight into the part that love is literally a chemical reaction that allows people to breed which it just is, some can go beyond that but a lot stop at just that because there is no affection in rushing into a relationship.
He is right because my parents did it, after my last sibling was born all they did for years was fight and argue so I'm not gonna pretend like love is magical powerful thing, it's a natural part of like for some but most don't think carefully or are good judges of character and end up miserable.
Not everyone can admit that while love is good for some, it's nothing more than a means to an end for a lot that depending on who you are or who's in your life fades into nothing.

What Rick described was lust, not love. True love is way deeper than just a desire to reproduce. True love is when a person sacrifices something to see you happy. True love is when you have someone who laughs with you in your successes, and picks you up when you fall. True love is someone standing by you in the thickest of struggles, holding your hand and promising to be there with you through it all. And if you truly love them back, you will reciprocate all those things I mentioned above.
I occasionally think the same way about love, but then I remember what I have between me and my boyfriend. THAT'S love, and I am genuinely sad for those who have never gotten a chance to experience it themselves, and have adopted such a broken and tainted outlook on love

if life is so great, why does death exist?
Divorce isn't the end to all love, divorce isn't the end to love, divorce is deciding you don't want to be married to a specific person. i know a friend of mine who married her best friend and then they got divorced because they didn't love each other romantically, just platonically.

    Lessions...
First- sometimes our paths have a set point of doing something.
Second- your problems have repercussions and not just to you... even you may never know how vital it is to them.
Third- is debatable due to his nihilistic know it all view but love is a lie... when love is actually the partner youd be most closest of most... a very horrifying choice of breaking or making the grandest bond of all... you love one who loves you back... equally.
Fourth- two lessons: one is being a quick judgement is hasty opinions of even the best or even the greater of people second is worrying of things that happened is already done its done while the road ahead is something we cant know regardless of plans ahead so sometimes your choices now is what matters now in the moment.
Fifth- grow from the pain... learn from it and move on.
Sixth- Wants and Needs have to balance itself... work but live greatly work hard to live but for what you love deeply in your dreams.
Seventh- reality is always there... but the best thing to know from me personally... is that self acceptance and live on not just you but who you are... even if its insignificant to you it may be for many and exorcise/exercise your issues so you can go on.
Eighth- Judgement from many that antagonize one create the monsters that reflect that rage and its a self feeding flame... not even looking back that even monsters are beings that were made from the judgement from the beginning.
Ninth- Hold on to the most important thing to you most... not hoarding all joy but what was key to your positivities that is to you...
Tenth- no one got anything without losing or from lost... but hope is the thing that no one should lose.

The context is what's important though, this pessimistic statement about love by Rick is one he learnt through years of life experiences, alternate timelines/universes. As brilliant as he was, he could never figure it out. It just goes to show how complex love and life itself is. It's an insight into his nihilism and pessimism, but it's also the one thing he has no grasp of. The point being is, even super ultra mega smart and powerful people like Rick have to deal with loneliness, as it's unfortunately a thing most people deal with in life. As far as love goes, there's many aspects involved that determined whether one successfully finds love or not. A little luck is involved too, but finding it is also only half the battle....holding onto it is the other half.

The advice you need to hear, often comes from yourself. It just takes a certain spark to realize it. Perhaps you might find what you need to hear in your alphabet soup. I think you're smarter than you might know.

I don't agree with Rick's quote. Rick is a nihilistic person with an inflated ego, not to mention a hypocrite. He tried to play down love because he wanted to manipulate Morty
Peter's advicd is also very unhealthy and antisocial

Rick didn't even follow that advice himself, he's still in love with his dead wife, it's juast that now he knows that nothing can return her, and the object of his revenge is de4d.

Dude, it's reality, so sometimes the people can take some notes from it, even if you disagree with it. By the way, I agree with Rick "for the words he says." Do you know why? what is the reason for loving to your beloved partner if he/she doesn't love you back after 10 to 15 yrs, even if you have a child. Instead, he/she use you for financial, he/she abuse you, he/she cheat you, and then divorces you, and your beloved partner may take away your kids (that you loved the most) for financial or trust issues. Man, this is what you call love. Pretty messed up.
Also, if love is so great, then why are people still doing terrible things to their love once if they really called true love. By cheating, abusing, or using them. If you called this love? What could be the reason? Or maybe love is more than this? Properly. Or love is a beautiful poison that will spoil your life slowly.

4:22, oh you have no idea how true that is, the reason men die earlier than women is because we cant speak about it, every time we show the slidest limbs of human emotion, all we hear is "man up" and every time we have a problem, we have to fix it herself, and when we open up to a woman, 7/10 times, she WILL use it against us, be it intentionally, or to gossip with their friends

Out of all I think the movie soul either missed the point or I missed the point this dude wanted to be successful in some kind of jazz career I think the only reason he realized he loved the school more is because he wasn’t as successful as he thought he was gonna be but I bet you if that payment was coming in big every single week I’m pretty sure he would’ve remained Something about the soul I was getting the the idea that this movie was telling people to give up on their dreams

Isn't the ultimate point about the clip from Soul that he ends up rethinking his view on life?
I'm not sure the movie wanted you to take his words there at face value, and think no further.

I've never liked Rick's character, and his line about love being chemicals made me realise that.
Despite what happened to his original wife and daughter, he treats it like somebody bitter over a divorce.
The fact is that some people DO have fulfilling, life-long relationships with people they cherish & love. Rick had something bad happen to him, and he's determined to bring everyone around him down a peg.
He couldn't be happy, so nobody else is allowed to be happy either. Not only that, he'll explain to people WHY they shouldn't be happy in order to justify to himself. He hates it when he's confronted by people who are as smart or even smarter than he is, or even worse; aren't impressed by his intellect and don't put him on a pedestal for it.
Rick is intelligent, but he isn't wise or worthy role-model; he's a bitter old man who wants attention, but only on his terms

I dont agree with many of these negative or superficial quotes like Rick's or Peter's. Love is more than some stupid chemical reations; it's why so many couples have stayed together in the past. My grandparents(and many others') have stayed together and loved eachother until the day they died. Don't take Rick's advice. If you do, you'll only end up miserable and alone.

Not bad video but was completely ruined by the inclusion of a Rick & Morty quote. Rick's a self-absorbed, apathetic loser. Don't be like Rick.
Or Peter. That quote was supposed to be a joke about how unhealthy that mindset is.

And more importantly a major hypocrite, he is obsessed by what happened to his wife and daughter and build his entire life around getting revenge for it. And hate is as much a transient chemical reaction as life if not more.
Also, he would jump at the first chance to get is wife back.

1:23 I absolutely hate this scene in Rick and Morty because it is NOT wisdom. If anything, it's just Rick projecting his own sadness. If you really understood the underlying message about Rick and Morty, you would know this scene may reflect the way Rick sees things, but it doesn't make him emotionally intelligent. It makes him emotionally immature. The reason I say this is because love is not defined by just sexual attraction. Rick loves Morty, because he cares about him deep down. Same way that he cares about Beth, Summer, and even Jerry at times. Rick deeply loved his wife and lost her, so this line is not a statement of truth, it's Rick's own denial projecting outwards because he doesn't want to work through his own feelings. People really need to stop quoting this scene like it's fact.

A lot of these aren't even wisdom. And it's the ones speaking that needed the reality check.
Adding music just makes the illusion that they're all wise.

I fell like, out of context, a lot of these lose crucial aspects of their meaning. I may even argue they mean nothing at all. It’s the experience, the circumstance, that makes the meaning. That aside, Rick ain’t being wise here. Just pessimistic. That’s no way to live your life
