Didn't seem like you pulled much debris out. Did this actually fix the problem?
I solved my Samsung dishwasher cleaning problems. I consistently would get food residue left on the dishes. I found that the strainer above the chopper would be partially blocked. I would clean it but then quickly have the problem again. This was solved by installing a washer under the chopper which reduced clearance between the chopper and screen so the chopper would also keep the screen clean. It has been working great since.
Hi Todd ! Do you have a Quick vidéo or images for your solution? It looks like my problem but i don't quite understand it...
Thanks for the video! Our Samsung dishwasher stopped cleaning and I took it apart and cleaned it all thoroughly as well as replaced a damaged o-ring and it works better than ever.
Awesome,
Thanks Travis👍
We had a damaged o-ring too that went to the upper arms. presumably badly installed from the factory
Thank you, you prevented me from breaking my impeller. Didn’t know it was reverse threaded. Thanks again!
You’re welcome😊
The only issue with this. When you remove the upper tubes, most don't pry up! You remove the tube from the upper retainer clips and the tube is a twist lock style to remove.. If you pry up like you show, you will break the tabs to hold it in place.
great video. thanks! i found a broken blade when i took mine apart so i ordered one. also, as someone else mentioned, the tube for the upper sprayers attaches to my dishwasher needs to be turned to remove so be careful - they don't all just pull up.
Thanks Matt, good info.👍
Awesome. !! I was trying to take off the propeller the wrong way, good thing I stopped and found this video before I went to far.
That would be "impeller", not propeller.
@@shakeyjack 😃💚
Great video. Very helpful. I’m near hopeless with these types of tasks, but slowly learning, and this video clearly walked through all the steps. 👍
Excellent,
Thank you Adam
Except for the sprayer arms in the beginning, I would like to know how to do that.
Thank you for this!
My husband and I just purchased a brand new dishwasher... We've only had it for a month and it's making a weird clicking sound.
The manual diagrams do not match the dishwasher that we have 🤦 your video helped a lot, thank you!
Off to see what's stuck in there!
Thanks so much! We bought a used dishwasher and it doesn’t drain or clean well. I’m going to try this!
Thanks so much,
Please let me know how it goes
Very helpful...thanks! Just FYI, my Samsung dishwasher' impeller is not a reverse thread.
Thanks so much😊
Thanks!
No problem! And thanks so much for the Super Thanks😊🎊🎉✨
Very helpful, thank you!
You’re welcome😊
Thank you are dishwasher is working great now
Excellent ,
Thanks Jon
Hello
Thanks for the video
I cleaned the filter as shown but I still have an issue with draining
There is an error “SE”
What do I do ?
I tried to open up the bottom of the washer but it is complicated down there
Please advise

SE is service equipment. Very generic error. Usually a leak throws the error when the catch pan water sensor is triggered. Happed to us at least. Major repair to replace the main gasket.
Awesome video...thanks for this
Ur welcome 😃
How Do I check the holes in the sprayer arms??
Just look at each hole. If you see something blocking the hole, use tweezers to pull it out.
Ok so how were you able to keep the impeller from spinning while using drill to unscrew the screw? I’m going clockwise and the impeller slips from my hold each time
Did you ever find a way to stop this?
Pliers
Power screwdriver. Just make sure you’ve got it going the “loosen” direction. It’s so fast it turns only the screw.
Mine was the same; i just kept triggering the drill i was using, while holding onto the impeller as tight as i could with my fingers, and eventually, it broke free and unscrewed. Hope that helps
Nice rolie
Thank you👍

Joking aside, thank you. You're a life saver.
Nice job
I think Samsung dishwashers are just the worst...had residue on my dishes from Day 1!!!
Had an old old Whirlpool dishwasher that we just changed to upgrade our kitchen, never had any problems...very frustrated 😰
Your right, Samsung is one of the worst☹️
Okay but like, what if you’ve done all this several times and the dishes still don’t get clean?
If you open the door at 20 minutes do you get a big plume of steam?
Which detergent are you using?
I cleaned this all out, dishes still come out like they have sand on them. Ready to haul it to the dump and its 1 yr old.
Mine is doing the same thing, I took all the assembly apart, cleaned it all out (appliance is new so all nice and shiny). Ran it empty and there was black grit/stuff all along the lower door seal.
See my comment above about the impeller clearance. I had the same issue.
I wash my dishes before I put them in and it still sucks
Good idea. What soap do you use?
@@QuickAndEasy5MinuteAppliance tried them all, finish seem to work the best, I put a dash of baking soda in and it seems to help as well
My Samsung will not release the soap pod trap door and now when I turn it on it runs for about 5 minutes then it shuts off. Any ideas? Thanks.
Probably needs a new fill valve
I would think to check and make sure your water line is not blocked or kinked in any way; thinking the system is not registering water at level after a preset time and so shuts off.
