Real!! As a ballet dancerctraininh my butt was a game changer for my turnout! I always avoided training my legs bc i didnt want to make them bigger, it actually did the opposite, and improved my technique. This video is so true

I gotta admit....that snapping pop caught me off guard and made me scream! Lol 😂 Joints do that every now and then. As long as it doesn't hurt. Extra points if the pop feels outright good! 😅
Thanks for the insight on this. My main stiffness comes from my Hamstrings. I do the "hands-to-floor & 'half-way' stretch (often as part of the Vinyasa). But I just can't get the Hamstrings to loosen up. Any suggestions? Best Regards
@@ungodlyhouryt hey thanks for the compliment! 👊☺ I'm loving the ballet lessons for sure, and getting stronger every day thanks to the movements required. (My butt is slowly getting higher! 😁) But also, I really mean it when I say thanks. You've no way of knowing this but I was feeling rather low about some other stuff in my life today, and reading your comment here now helps me to feel encouraged & more hopeful. Thanks for this 🌞 & many blessings to you. ❤
These can go away with movement (think: motion is lotion). Sometimes the clicking doesn't go away and if it's doesn't hurt you should be okay! I would definitely ask your doctor next time to be sure, but it's always a sign of an an underlying medical condition or old injury. I wish I had a better answer for you but it's different for everyone - just pay attention to if there's pain. :)
Nope! It is absolutely normal for knees to give a cracking sound when you are active. If there's pain, that's not good. Cracking is common and it happens when carbon dioxide builds up in the joint's fluid and is released as a gas bubble that bursts when the joint adjusts rapidly. :)
Start with 10 min beginner stretches. Here's one that people like: ua-cam.com/video/TRhkSrnqZtI/v-deo.htmlsi=ovfG2gbijs88rb5a The key is consistency so whatever you do, make sure you enjoy it so you're consistent!
So what if it's not really My hips but my glutes? I feel like no matter what I do and despite almost being able to do full splits, my glutes are super tight and sometimes they even cramp
No stupid. It's actually very satisfying feeling and if you know anything about knee pops then you would know it's just the fluid bubbles between the joints that pop not the actual Bones 😂
Me trying to figure out a way to pin this post somewhere on my phone so I don’t forget it cause I feel I like this would genuinely help with my flexibility and strength 🙌🏼🙌🏼
thank you. People always focus so much on stretching, but functional strenght is always number 1

Skandasana rounds! That sounds great and I am sure I am going to crack my joins for sure 😄

How do I get to the point where I don’t have to be up on my heel in this pose on the leg that is supposed to be grounded.
Can you please make a full follow along class for this? I think many of us will benefit from it ❤
I broke my hip at 27 and am so happy I found your channel 🙏🏻😭💕💕
Hope you’ve recovered ❤

Did you find anything helpful?😭😭
Will you do a video of a workout that focuses on hip strengthening please?
Please can you do a viseo breakkng down skandasena rounds?
My groin hurts a lot on doing Skanasna. Is there a way to alleviate that pain please 🙏🏽. Thank you in advance ❤
If I'm unable to sit at a right angle, but only in obtuse angle, what kind of workout should I do?
Standing forward fold and go as far as your body allows for you to have your back straight and hold , you should feel quite a stretch
I was considering an ISSA program, where did you train?
Hi Kate
My glute very tight and I struggle to loosen up.
Any suggestion .
You are literally fitness goals
Her using the original sankrit term for the yoga skandaAsana is appreciated. Many other videos try to come up with their own names for yoga Asanas.
Skandasana looked like a magic trick at first.
@@sherparoyale just tried it. it most definitely magic. I don't practice magic unfortunately.
Thanks for the info! Was that your knee that cracked?
*sympathy*
I’ve always danced and worked out. But menopause is destroying my body. I’m in constant pain.
this looks like a great opener and strengthener! ❤️🙌❤️
What does it mean when your hip clicks? Esp after walking 🥲
Brilliant Kate Amber. It's been a while since I have been actively acrobatic. Really helpful. 🙌 💛
My god u r gorgeous 😻😻😻 and u have a soothing voice
Could we get some other stretch besides the Skandasana rounds as that's not accessible to all bodies.
My hips and back are really killing me. Would love some help!!
Awesome! Learning ballet at 53 & although my turnout is decent tks to genetics I'm also experiencing some issues w/my hips -- new subscriber tks!

Not are you prize for the eyes, but you're also very competent. 😊
Foot on a step, lift toes, then lift knee up & that engages glute?
I've never studied yoga so much
What if they just feel loose, weak and wobbly?
Strengthen them! Go to the gym and push/pull some heavy stuff with your legs. You'll feel unstoppable 👍👍
