The bezel you have in your video is a lighter shade than the one on Amazon (guess you painted it like the center bezel?). $55 for a bezel seems like a lot (in comparison to the other parts). Do you know of anywhere else selling this bezel? Great vid and looking to do this myself, thanks!
When I bought it, the price was $45 but they raised it for some odd reason and yes I painted mine they originally come flat black
Will this still work for the same car, but with OEM Navigation set-up the dash is a little different.

Its cool but do you need to turn on/off the tablet everytime you get into/out of the car? Also will you need to open the application everything you turn your car on?
Nope the application turns on the tablet when the car is on and it turns it off even car is turned off. The application does everything automatically
how do you make the tablet turn on/off with the car?
theres a physical button on the side of that specific tablet, how do you manage around that?
G Delg it’s an app called automate it where you can create codes for the tablet to “turn on” when the car turns on( the tablet it always on charge by USB) when the tablet detects it’s getting a charge it will wake up the tablet and open the applications required to run this. hey man what's the situation with your steering wheel controls? did they work with a proper head unit install or did you need an adapter? amazon has adapters for it but I haven't seen anyone bother to use one
Shawn Fraser yeah they sell adapters however I don’t really use the controls and I’m going to be getting an aftermarket steering wheel anyways so no point, my aftermarket headunit is hands free so I could do all the same things without even pressing a button

Tyler Barylski you will have to order a different tablet bezel because they are different for the 2010 model
I have a question, so I'm currently doing this mod, I've installed my aftermarket double din stereo, the stereo powers on, but no sound comes out. I do have the premium sound system, so I have a factory amp.
Idk why my stereo turn on, but I get no sound, i don't know what to do if it has something to do with the factory amplifier.
I’ve never heard of that problem, are you sure everything Is plugged in?

Yes as long as it’s an android based tablet
Connectors not clips. Clips are the parts holding the bezels on. Connectors are the electronic plugs going into the stereo and other electrical control units.
Use “plastic” pry tools. Butter knives and screw drivers will permanently wreck your bezels and car trim.
Cool mod though. Work on lingo and tools and you’ll be golden.
I’ve been improving as I learn, thanks for the tips. Sometimes though you just gotta use what you got LOL. I knew the tools I had weren’t the right tools but I masked the imperfections with paint so it’s all good 🤣
Is the tablet still holding up well? I saw reviews of the Digiland tablet that said the battery wasn’t so good even when charging
I haven’t had any issues with it at all but remember you can use any 7” android tablet!

the suburban Genny yeah I matched the colors and matched the colors with the black lines in them. I’m going to re do the whole harness to triple check but besides that I have no idea. Mine is a 2013 if that changes anything? Thanks for the fast reply and thanks for the video :)
Paul Bracamonte mine is a 2013 as well so it should be no different. However I do have aftermarket speakers sub and amp so it could be slightly different just double check and let me know how it goes

how do you connect the tablet to the obd2? is it bluetooth or wired? also does it shut off when you turn the car off?
It’s Bluetooth and I have a program that auto ons and off the tablet with the power of the car

Sound quality all depends on your sound system the head unit is just the source. I have a 12”kicker sub and 1200watt amp with pioneer speakers so quality is good. Backup camera is an option but I didn’t buy ut

The radio you get normally comes with a wiring diagram every radio is different I don’t wanna take apart my console to send a picture that could be different colors than yours
How did you get your USB port to work when I did my radio setup and put everything in my USB port didn’t work anymore so it won’t let me charge my tablet do you know if I possibly did anything wrongdoing how to fix that problem ?
joshua castro I ended up running the usb into the 12v phone charger (cigarette lighter)
the suburban Genny My 12V isn’t working either I tried both and both give no charge to the tablet did I maybe connect some wire wrong or is their any possible wire I can buy or anything to make the usb or the 12V start to work ?

T Rev so my microphone I routed to the left driver side air vent and the back up cam will be routed to the back

I had to take it to a shop apparently my car have infiniti amplified audio system and they had to run more wire I end it up paying $250 for the installation and I install a back up camera too it came out nice I have the tablet on top with the OBD II sensor i love it bro

Just regular gloss white spray paint
How does the dadhcommand work?
It’s an obd2 Bluetooth plug that connects to the tablet. Anything the ECU reads it’ll send that info to the tablet real time
the suburban Genny i have it but for some reason its not working for me. I even bought the 9.99$ inside the app. But it freaze on connecting. Couldn't see a Bluetooth connection only wifi. Idk what's the problem 😂

Sw3dK!lla420 navigation is played on the headunit and climate control is not displayed you just have to use the controls
