Useful regarding the pets: it does exactly two ticks of damage after your last spell/auto on the camps. So if the small raptors are all weak, you can just hit one and it will kill them all for you as you run to the next camp
Can pets kill dragons too? I once had a drake at 10 hp, but my pet didn't kill it despite doing 17 dmg. (Yes I somehow don't know this as a high gold jungler, idk how)
@@hycix705 They changed it so pets cant kill epic monsters. it happened in the LPL where an ez jungle threw his ult from baron to drake and got the drake steal with pet damage
Yes, "a ton of choices to make" is the reason people don't want to jungle and not because their team will have unrealistic expectations of you and blame you for them losing their lanes lol
I'm a mid main but I'm trying to get into jungling because my friends have urged me to one other thing I've always wanted to know is when to back/reset when jungling since in laning it's usually just "reset after crashing wave in tower" but for jungling there is no crashing wave and it's uncertain whether certain 1100-1800 gold backs are worth backing for
Actually your "crashing wave" is the moment when none of your jungle camps are up and the first spawns around the time when you would go back and come back to it (or later, of course).
Hi mate! It’s like in our lane Reset when either −−> Nothing interesting to do on the map (no big objectives, no one is gankable / counter-gankable easily, your camps are empty) or you got a big spike of power waiting for you at base (an item to buy for eg) or you wanna replenish ressources (hp, mana, ward) a minute before a big expected fight (rift herald, drake, nashor, big push with your team etc.). The most important concept in jungle is analysis coupled with decision making. You need to think fast, be efficient with time and be decisive when you execute one of your choice, no matter what it is.
Also you can abuse the enemy reset as a jungler. If they reset after clearing you can gank other lanes and impact the game. A bit of a coin flip but it works
lol I was bored and have been wanting to learn jungle so I took like 6 small pages of notes on this video, it was very clear and easy to understand, thank you. 👍
Jungle is such a whole different gameplay. I'm so used to playing the other 4 roles which lanes against opponents. When I try to switch it up as a jungle I keep making errors.
I cannot lie, just one watch of this vid and I learned how to gank properly, like before I was so clueless on what to do next after full clear but now I know how to properly gank, thank you
5:00 While me, midlaner am busy fighting 1v2, that’s exactly what my jungler does "wondering how many stars there is in the universe instead of helping or punishing the ennemy jungler in some way". Don’t be that guy/girl ! Jungling is about FAST decision making. A GOOD decision coming too late becomes a BAD ONE. Very important to remember. Learn to be patient BUT decisive. Sometimes the right call is to position and wait someone to use it’s main spell or mis pose, sometimes, it’s about doing your all-in fast and clean before more people can come to help. But one thing is always the same: hesitation always backfire.
5:58 care guys, here the Lilia did a great gank (good timing, decisive, executed fast). Then, she GOT THE KILL, so don’t tax the wave as she does. By doing that (taking most of the wave [xp & gold]) she puts her laner.... behind! Which is the opposite of what you want. ==> It’s fine to share if your laner got the kill. It’s fine to share if you need to push fast for the wave to crash (cause the one of your laner is bigger) BUT if you as the jungler got the kill and the opponent wave is bigger you should NEVER tax it, as your laner will loose tons of XP (so he will be killed on next opponent level up) AND will be behind in stuff (here 2 waves stacked that Ornn will not have) and be late in items (so late in item powerspike too). Put simply, the gank was great, but Lilia decreased massively the value of the gank by heavily taxing the wave giving absolute no advantage to his laner. While they could have been both ahead from that. (for info, early in the game, minions only give 40% xp to junglers. So taxing is super useless. The laner get 100% xp if you are not here).
Early gold on the jungler is much more important than on Ornn, since he's not the wincondition. Also, Ornn seems to desperately need a recall timing here, so instashoving is probably the right call given how little wave clear Ornn has with how far the minions are spread out.
Hey this is a great video but I did have to watch the routes multiple times because with the icon zipping around and I don’t have a great mental map of what jungle looks like yet. It’s hard to follow what the order is, a top down over the map would be great, I don’t know if others agree or if it’s just me.
Question: Why does the recommended jungle path differ from time to time on a certain champion? I started jungling by playing some 50 games with Jax alone, and noticed how mostly the path starts from blue but sometimes it starts from red instead.
It differs bc of needs/champions ability to DMG to camps with abilities and autos. Ex Talon is pretty mana reliant on his first clear so usually start blue so have enough mana and cdr to clear and still be somewhat healthy afterwards. Though tbh I didn't the recommended jungle path would ever change it always seemed the same just get a bot leash lol
Idk, these recommendations are pretty bad most of the time anyway, I choose my jgl route depending on the lane matchups, not the games recommendation. These buff camp camp routes are the most standard routes but as any jgler with aoe abilities id rather do a camp camp buff clear because it is faster and leaves more options open.
I want to start jungling Kindred but I'm too scared to go into 5v5 blind or draft due to teammate hate - so I only jungle in coop vs ai now😂 Anyone got motivation to queue up for jungle even though I'm not good yet?
Mute all teammates is the best advise I had from skillcapped. I always honor those who I think played well. Were they flaming me at some point? Probably. And I don't care. You will learn much more even in normals. Enemy junglers, in particular stronger junglers, are a pain in the ass to deal with. You will have no choice but to use the minimap and improve on macro because you will be very dead if you don't.
Either queue with a friend or queue blind 5v5, mute team chat. Keep ping on so that u can ask for assistance for objectives like dragons. But if your teammates spam ping u, mute their pings. Remember to type "jug" at the picking champion part so that no one takes jungle from you then lock kindred. At the end of the day, it's not rank so if anyone rages at u, they are just being an asshole. Have fun and practice!

How the duck am I supposed to watch this in the lobby?
I can't purchase your service I don't have PayPal or any cards I'm from the Philippines. is there any other way?
lol, the rank 1 challengers getting skillcapped for free cause they cannot get divisions
took you long enough
I don't understand anything about this game
Fun fact I’ve started off jg and haven’t learned a single thing about landing yet I’ve been able to hit gold 3 🤣
Pointless rant, but I hate when people use "literaly" to mean "figurativly, but it is kinda close to literaly". You can run out of mana with blue buff (pretty easily with 1 champ you recommended - Amumu), so please, stop saying literaly when you don’t mean it.
We really need to claim back the real meaning of literally.
Close to first :(
