I can't believe you did all this, hearing you talk about it was def something else and now seeing the footage I totally understand all your feelings. What a journey! I'm so proud of your for pushing through and I hope you keep doing these races alongside the many adventures 😍
Leonoor, the Gotland Grand National is so unlike anything else, but experiencing it and being completely happy with any result, and to keep the expectations low is one of the best ways I would think. No, I haven't been there, but it is one of those races that everyone here (in Sweden) have heard of, or seen mud-covered photos from. When you're in mud so deep that you don't have to fiddle with the sidestand if you are thrown off (only handle bars and parts of the seat sticking up from the mud) then is the time to laugh and smile. Because what else can you do really.
Hi Runa, all your videos are so well done, but this movie takes your work to a new level, congrats, I just loved it. The story line, the shots, your narration, the music, your humourous comments, the heart beat(calm 😊) . Mostly your great attitude, your laughter through the tough moments, your willingness to push your limits , the joie de vivre you bring across. Your riding skills and the comments from your trainers say it all. This was a very enjoyable hour . I have watched your channel since you started. You have really grown the quality of your content. I am very happy for you and proud for you for what you are achieving. And finally, what you did to get ready, compete and complete the race is very commendable. Bravo! 🤗
Thank you so much! How very kind of you 😊 It was all such a great experience, both learning new skills, having so much fun with it and last but definitely not lest, getting to know so many great people! 😊
Thank you for a truly great video experience. As an older guy (72) I still try and ride whenever I get the chance. Your nerves really brought back memories. I rode a Bultaco through a National Forest in Colorado Rockies with 2 friends that were experienced MX racers. I learned so much despite not knowing enough to be afraid of what we were going to ride through. I would love to do that ride again even though it was 50+ years ago.
You made a really good documentary here. Worth a UA-cam Grammy 😊 Truly great to see your journey towards the event, and how it all comes together. You are an inspiration to many Runa ☺️
I’ve never done an enduro race, so it was great to see the prep work that you did and also the race. Kudos to you for pushing your boundaries and competing in that race! I think this video is my favorite, it brought tears to my eyes when you finished. I’m a woman in my 60’s riding a dual sport and I ride forest service roads, nothing like what you were doing. Well done. ❤
Oh Runa, what an amazing video, entertaining and fun to watch. Fantastic job with voice over to be able to hear your thoughts. So nice to hear your laughing and every sound you make tackling different obstacles. I had to stop watching after 45minutes to go to work but I will go back watch the rest after work 🤩
Thank you 😃 It's been long hours putting together the over 1000 clips for this, but worth it in the end. Hope you'll like the end too 😁 Have a good day at work!
Awesome introduction to tougher Enduro & MX. Kudo's to your instructors, sponsors and your sheer Tenacity! Right on Target Runa ; ) Remember 1) Momentum is your best friend 2) Confidence & commitment 3) Practice ... practice & more practice Spoilt? Yup, lady bug lucky! Great Video Editing & Story telling, looking forward to the rest of 2024
This is not for women or men! Enduro is for adventurers, motorcycle lovers, adrenaline junkies, and nature enthusiasts! I see that you're indeed qualified for enduro! Welcome to the clan, and I believe that once you're here, you'll never leave again! Remember, the winner isn't the fastest but the one who doesn't give up and reaches the end, no matter how many times they fall! At the end of the day, we all arrive dirty and exhausted, but with a cleansed soul! But in the end, we are all brothers and sisters!
What a lovely young woman, it's nice to see her honesty and no nonsense way of talking. Great to see inspiration for other riders to try something new.
I've been following for a while, and you are improving both your film making skills, narrative and riding. Keep it up, and congratulations on the race 🥳🥇
Runa, that was a great video! You’re a lucky girl to have these doors of opportunity open for you to walk through and experience things like this that many never have the chance to do and I think you just kick ass!
Well done! You have accomplished something that you should be proud of! You approached the world of dirt bike riding and competition as one should and understand that confidence and skills are a progression. Your speed will increase as you gain confidence and experience.
Thank you. A great video that hooked me in straight away on your personal journey to the Gotland Grand National. Seriously professional and intimate talking style to camera and your refreshingly honest self reflection. The video made me smile and your infectious enthusiasm gave me a virtual kick up the ass to get out on the trail as well. So glad I found your channel via your peice with Kinga from the OnherBike episode in NZ. I am 'all in' and subscribed and ready to follow your further adventures.
Super, way to go. Another great video. One of the parts I enjoy most is the constant smile and upbeat positive attitude regardless of the challenges you face! Safe travels.
holy crap, this was so much fun to watch! aiming high and see what happens is a great way to look at life. And extra respect for that mad lad in your class on the MZ! He was definetly looking for some extra challange :)
I really enjoyed this video. It’s such high quality, and it was great to see you step up to the challenge. The race has to be the craziest ever, haha! Congrats on your achievement on the bike and putting together this awesome vid 🎉
Awesome vid . You’re inspirational and did an amazing job. I too have just started my enduro journey and your experience has definitely encouraged me to push on . Respect ✊
Excellent and well done! The 1st thing a person learns about enduro riding is that 'dignity and grace' evaporate quickly, like super fast, and when you mess up or get it wrong the gap is filled with the laughter, banter and (most importantly) help of the friends/strangers you are riding with. These friendly and helpful gestures are also of course normally accompanied with a quick unflattering photo or 2 to allow the friendly abuse to continue after the fact and be posted on every electronic forum available to mankind in the known universe😁😂. Thats what makes enduro great and fun. You accomplished your goal, were surprised at how little you struggled, but you did put as much effort in with the time you had beforehand. Super stoked. Good job and great video 👍
High five Runa! What an excellent result. And what a great opportunity to hone your skills...and make a very entertaining video. You made it look easy. Congratulations.
Many many many years ago I remember hearing about someone doing GGN on a moped, 6 speed, 4 odd hp and 100 kg or so... speed limited to 45 kmh as per the EU45 regulations. I always found that fascinating! Awesome content, keep it up! :) And you do so well, impressive!
Hi Runa, Well, that was crazy, cool, exciting, scary, awesome, and badass! Way to go! That was quite a sight to see with all of those bikes surging forward. I hope you're incredibly proud of yourself, thats quite an accomplishment. Safe travels wherever they take you. See you in the next one. ❤
Absolutely fantastic Runa👏👏👏 Your fantastic attitude and demeanor with its cool calmness is a lesson for all of us!!! Thank you for sharing. You are very inspiring. Safe to say you probably want to do it again next year!! 😎😎😎😎
Amazing and so inspiring pictures… I can easyly imagine how hard it must have been to come through this wunderfull experience … Thanks a lot to share with us all of this and make us Dream… you make it possible… many Thanks Runa 🙏
Runa, so proud of you! That looked insane! The TE150 looked like it performed well. What’s next for you? More beautiful Norway landscapes? Again, congrats, Runa!
You are one brave lady Runa, it takes balls to tackle something like that with little experience so bravo👍Watching the pros is just mind blowing, they go over obstacles like they aren't there and the speed is just insane! My older brother did motocross at amateur level and that was fast but the pros are a whole different level😉I learned to ride offroad and it made me such a better rider on the road, this will help you so much👍Awesome video Runa👌
I remember parking up next to you at Straand Treffet 2021 where you arrived pretty cold on your KTM from driving over the mountains in sub-zero weather. You had that summer been driving Norway criss-cross with a fairly fresh one year motorcycle license and told us enthusiastic about it from the stage later that evening. Next I discovered your UA-cam channel and have seen it grow together with your adventures and skills. I hope you will continue to develop and enjoy everything around motorbikes. Your performance at GGN was extremely impressive. You rock Runa! 😊
Hi Tommy! Thank you very much, how nice that you've been part of my trips for all this time 😊 Straand Treffet was such a great weekend, and I hope to be back again!

Really impressed with this video and the recent "Extreme Motorcycle Adventure". Feels like you've taken a step up in terms of production and crafting. I'm looking forward to more. (Oh, and well done completing 3 laps of that race!!!!)
Thank you, Simon! Learning a few new skills in more arenas than enduro riding - all about the experience here as well 😃 I'm glad the extra hours are being noticed!
First up, with the risk of being that one weird guy, you've got beautiful kind eyes :) Now to the enduro riding. I'm also an enduro beginner but I ride big ADVs. When you said it's a bit frustrating watching the other riders ride the parts you have struggled on with ease. I feel you. We just have to keep practicing since practice makes perfect.
Well done .... Wow! What an awesome video! Super congratulations for this. What an experience, right? Would I do that ? Probably not. You fought through your demons and finished. I have followed you for a while and I am so proud of you. Your honesty, hard work, and your character . I remember when I was younger I competed in Triathalons. I remember at the beginning and seeing all the competitors and understanding fear. My mouth was so dry. And the guy said you must drink, so true. Well done. Best!
Thank you! 😊 It was so cool, and so different from anything I've done before! That feeling of being so nervous is the best and the worst all at the same time 😮💨😂
Congratulations! Very well done! And I beautiful video. It really gave me flashbacks, and I could feel the excitement. Just started to think if I have to get back to the sport...
That was awesome, so glad you finally got some proper (for that sport), gear. You must protect yourself…even when practicing/training. So proud of you girl 👍❤️
You're going to love riding the ABR festival Bridgestone trail, a lot more relaxed pace and the trails are good for big adventure bikes. Well done Runa
It is always awesome to see a beautiful lady doing this kind of thing. Aside from that, I love the channel dedicated to all of the motorcycle stuff. What I love about motorcycles and riding in general is that you learn something every single day, every ride. So don't worry about not being ready to race because you will learn every day, every race, every ride. In the same way your videos show us, you just have to get out there and do it. You are very fortunate that your channel allows you to try so many different things, bikes, and gear. The down side to riding is it is expensive and the more you get into the more it costs. Love your work, fun to see what you are doing next!
Thank you for the kind words 😊 I'm very fortunate indeed, and happy to have the support to be able to do this! Can't wait to see where it takes me next 😃
Such a cool project. Your video gives me courage. Even at the age of 60, I'm still looking for a challenge. The thrill is too good, overcoming the fear is a brilliant pleasure. Applause for your achievement. 👍👏 Heidi
