Such a great video. Totally liked the hole weekend you got. And wow your bravery is inspiring for all us females 🧖♀ Would love to try this out next year. All the best Henriette, Copenhagen Denmark
watching it again this early morning. I forgot about the opening and riding in groups. I've always ridden by myself. Most people like to ride fast and I always do the speed limit or take my time in the woods when I did. I rode with about 3 other guys years ago for a few hours. It was very worrisome to me trying to out think what they wanted to do or go or what speed. I just follow the leader. I'm not the leader type.
One word, TERRIFIC, Well done Runa, I know as an off-roader myself, That wasn't an easy trek, I really enjoyed that, And the '901' belongs now ! Bumped, scratched, roughed up...Just like my almost 40yo Levi jacket, 😊👍 (you can well imagine what my 18yo GS looks like.) lol.
Oh Runa watching you coaching your self through the mud and brush swearing as you go was such a hoot. I have to say you did amazingly well for not having done endure trails before. I live in the US and started out riding in my 20's on a 175 cc Honda on single track like what you just road on. I am now 72 and back riding again and love it. I got married at 26 and stopped riding in my 30's because of raising a family and lack of money. My wife died in 2011 so I bought another motorcycle and started riding again as part of my grieving and have not stopped. Great video! I loved it and I also love Giant Loop products.
Oh how I miss those days, well my hats off to you, you got out of your comfort zone and doing that can be a real challenge, stick to the road where you explore and camp along the way, I love my time alone on the road for many reasons, but rides like what u just experienced you ride with other like minded people and that could be a real plus. Never stop exploring and continue the ride. Take care and as always enjoy your travels and experiences. Rob from U.S.
Exhausted ? - Maybe, but pretty as ever ! It might be the wrong type of bike and tyres, but it will be a good experience for yourself on your own bike. Remember: all that doesn´t kill you makes you better ! Hope to see more of you. Good luck !!!
Great ride Runa, Notice an older Husky enduro in the meeting room that had no clutch lever. Remembered I raced enduros in the 70's on one of them, not to give away my age. Oh, if you are standing an need to swerve around something just apply pressure on the peg on the side you want to go. If making a hard to say the left, turn your body to the left and push your right knee into the tank. It does feel like you are pushing on the outside peg. At least it works for me.
Well done :) This terrain is what we in Sweden call "fostrande" :) Frustrating when better riders use zero energy on these tracks while I'm sweating like a pig. But the sense of achievement is awesome. Keep it up :)
Thank you Robert 😃 It was hell lot of fun! Definitely need to do more of stuff like this. Like with most things, I'm sure it gets even more fun the more skills you learn.
@@OffSheGoesADV A compliment from Robert. Now that means something. 😁 I don't think there is much about motorcycles and videography that he does not know. Him and guys are always enjoyable to watch and listen to. The Things they say. 😂
Awesome!!! Great attitude!!! Great effort, Great results!! you should be so proud of what you just did for with your skill level…. And you upping your skill lever big time😎😎 Bravo 👏👏👏👏👏 And the only women 💪
It was definitely worth participating in the Norden Tour 2023 ! Not so obvious for the first time, it was even hard, but constructive I guess ! This was a real challenge for yourself and I think you just succeeded ! Congratulations for the good work👍 !
Hi Runa what a beautiful and amazing seeing all those bikers and food to eat I hope you are ok when you fell this is a hard trip 😊 you are vary Awesome and Amazing Runa 😊
Awesome video! Husqvarna is very likely losing money with this event. But it's good promotion. And they might be selling quite a few repairs after it. 😁
Remember that you pushed your maximum skill level during the day, you might not feel like you learned anything but your brain has started to make new connections and you have a better idea of where your limits are. The next time you see a muddy track you know that you managed it before and will again.
You had fun Runa and that's why we ride bikes.I'm an old bloke beginner and could relate to your comments. When you're not used to difficult terrain, you think oh sh*t.Then as you learn what your bike and tyres can do,and you can do,it becomes almost nothing.I had to laugh at your comments,I too keep telling myself, eyes up,relax, gas gas.Cheers from down under.
that 1st day looked fun as hell! you might have been beaten up but you were smiling at the end of the day after dinner and a shower! looking forward to you getting a 360 camera, i know i asked you about that before......gotta admit the rain looked miserable lol, i hate the rain.....wow that was a heck of a price for all you guys got to do and that stuff was included!!!! very good videos Runa, thank you for sharing....when in doubt, throttle out! sláinte!
It was suuuuch a great time, Ed! 😃 I learned so much! And yes, can't wait to play around with the 360 although not bringing it to the race in Gotland - it's to expensive to risk breaking it there 😂 Glad you like the video Ed, have a great Sunday evening!
You see - no prob 4you 💪👍! And thanks so much for keeping your voice so calm and relaxed at all times🙏 I've cancelled many subscriptions because of overacting and screaming "performers" that nearly made my ears bleeding🙉. But thanks to your relaxed style of commenting even a clip in this length is a plain pleasure to watch!
Good video Runa, it takes guts to post something like this. I've taken some Professional off-road courses, to be a better rider, practice effective technique, but mainly so I don't hurt myself. I know you are not looking for it, but I'll say it anyway - my best advice, learn from the experts, and establish a foundation of correct technique, then build on it on your own time. Most of the so-called advice you get while on the tails is flawed, usually from folks with a lifetime of bad habits, some are just lucky they haven't caught up to them yet. Another good video - cheers.
You're truly a BEEP!-BEEEP!!-ing ray of sunshine, Runa! 🎺🌞 And now we know why you had to find a motorcycle horn to incorporate into your videos. In any kind of group riding/driving you should always adapt the pace to the slowest one in the group, and still meet a challenge in the pace and obstacles encountered. I like what I see, and your attitude: You're not short of motivation and attitude. This will be fine!
Hahah yes it was much needed to do some censoring 😂⛔️ Glad you liked it, Jonas! They were so good at making sure no one was left behind, always making sure people knew that they could ride in whatever pace they were comfortable with. There was also always a tour guide in the back 😊 It was SO much fun! 🥳
You did a great great job wow so happy for you . Past your comfort zone . Love the way you all help each other and they treated you guys so well . I tip my hat to you .Did your sister give you a talking too later lol ! Ride safe have fun Runa !!! We love your beep beep lol !!
Good evening Off She Goes. Don't knock yourself girl! After only three years of riding your doing just fine. And if it helps, you've done more than I did in my first 10-years of riding. Then again I did have a handy cap. I rode old British motorcycles 😂😂😂 sorry bike lovers but it's true. No regrets switching to Japanese bikes, and bow a Royal Enfield 👍. The more off roading you do, the more you'll learn. Another enjoyable vid girl. Have a great weekend to you and yours. Till next time, safe happy riding 😊👍!
Wow, you did so very well ,on this tour, Runa In your filming you not only captured the ride ,but your thoughts and feelings along the way. .You can be very proud of yourself .Great you used as much footage as you could .
Thank you Graham 😃 I had soooo much footage from the weekend, it was hard to decide what to choose and not! I wanted to show a bit of everything 😊 Glad to finally have it out 😃
Thank you! for sharing this new adventure of yours! 😘 a little hard.. but you completed this new and different experience.. and that's what counts in the end... Thank you

Hi Runa, "Holy Crap", "My legs already felt like over cooked spaghetti", just LOVE your comments, now you are getting into the real trail bike riding or "bush bashing" terrain. Good on you for tackling this challenge on a fairly heavy adventure bike, bravo !! It will make you a more confident and skilled rider. Terrific to see such stirring encouragement from the other riders. Cant wait to see you one day with one foot down and power sliding sideways through those gravel corners. I laughed and smiled all the way with you. Very happy to see a new charming video from you . 🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍🦘🦘🦘
Well to start with it looked like you had a blast and you did great for the amount of time you have been riding & with very little off road experience you should be very proud of everything you did . And I love that even in the rain and mud and dropping the bike you never lost that pretty smile inside your helmet 😊.
Man, that's so interesting to me at the end you said you turned your audiobook on. I LOVE listening to them while I drive a car, but CANNOT do it while im on the bike, I have to have music. Ride safe!
You did very well for an offroad beginner in those conditions Runa. An offroad course here in Germany would cost you €170 for a beginner's course with the ADAC on there own training grounds/park. You would tho' still have to find your own accommodation B&B, pay for food and fuel. They are very thorough, teaching every aspect. By the way 'leaning on your pegs' is infact a method of steering with your feet ,so not so much leaning but pushing down on the peg to turn the bike in that direction ( obviously this doesn't work on tight turns, for these you move your body to the opposite side of the bike as much as needed to make the turn). I can highly recommend doing a course, one learns so much , especially about positioning, even ergonomics (set up for you on your bike) Ride safe young lady 😉
Excellent work Runa, those were tough conditions for a big heavy bike and you handled it so well👍Despite all the swearing🤣You will be more prepared for the trails after this, its all about experience👍
There was a sparkle in your eye after that first tough day, and it was fun seeing you discover the thrill of true off-roading. It really is a completely different skill set and I know others have already suggested doing a course to get you started so I won't. The pay-off is not just more exciting riding but the advantage of getting out into some truly remote regions--places you can't get to otherwise. I think that would suit you since you are sometimes annoyed by people, and you've clearly got the mettle for it! Oh and by the way: those aren't scratches they are honour badges. 😀
Well done!! You did superb Going out with a group and an unknown group especially is always a wee bit of a worry Their speed, their skills..and the support and communication.. No matter your level of expertise..the unknown will always be a challenge You will have enjoyed and learnt alot from that route and the day Stay safe
Fantastic Runa! I've been riding terrain like this for 30 years. I know how intimidating and scary it can be for a newer rider, but you just killed it. Well done. Good luck at the Gotland Grand National.
Thanks!
Thank you for your support! 🥰

Yesss, that really is a reward 😃 Gaining more confidence to ride more tracks on my own, seeing that both the bike and myself are capable of it 😊
