I saw the show with Helen and Gene Rayburn. They are a good match. Both are strong personalities and really enjoy each other's company. The only matched about 50 percent of the time but they seemed to really enjoy each others company. It was a good window into Gene's background.
the more one watches these matchgame shows the more one is impressed with gene rayborn's skill as a host. his interaction with the panelists, contestants, and audience are what makes the show.
The very best answer to the kinky piano player question was a synonym for "inebriated" that starts with the letter "p" and would have been censored immediately. The writers had to have known that, so were thay purposely pushing the envelope on that one? Pretty cool that cultured Bobby Van came up with "Liszt", though!
There are only 4 Acceptable words that rhyme with twist & wrist- that’s kissed pissed hissed & Liszt. (Franz Liszt was a Hungarian composer, pianist …)
I'm a bit surprised when the Mister Whipple question came up, Richard Dawson didn't mentioned anything about him being on Hogan's Heroes. Dick Wilson ( Mr.Wipple) played 6 episodes.
Love that Sarah Kennedy
Love Charles! 🥰
Yeah!! You tell 'em Chuck!!
Richard never steals someone’s answer, Brett and Charles do!!

I thought Betty was going to say the Statue of Liberty when she started quoting verse “give me your tired, your poor...”
Sarah is captivating.
Betty was perfect today, 3 attempts to 3 matches and a match with knuckle head on the audience match with the audience.. ;0)

That would be great if the two single contestants got together.
Charles was hilarious!
Leave Charles alone, Brett!
