I love the plain and simple fabrics on the cushions. So many RVs have such crazy fabric patterns and colors. Sweet and cozy little camper. Enjoy your weekend get away. :)
@@madplaider Actually, I like that it doesn't have the crazy colors and patterns that most campers seem to come with these days. Quick tip on simple way to make your own curtains without sewing (from someone who got kicked out of Home Ec and sent to wood shop--so you'll know it's simple): Get some Heat 'n Bond Seam tape, get some fabric you like, cut it to length with an extr inch on each side for the seams. Fold over and iron the seams first, then put a strip of Heat n' Bond in between the layers of fabric and iron away. Instant curtains. For the top part to go over the curtain rod, make the seam larger, then just put seam tape over the edge of the seam and iron--then you have a "pocket" for the curtain rod to slide through. Of course, Amazon sells RV curtains too--that's even simpler.
I'd say you have everything you need and nothing you don't Madman! 😊 I love the two plaid pillows! I recently camped and hiked Ricketts Glenn State Park. Had a great few days in the woods! Keep on keepin' on!
I love this. I had no idea this existed. I just got an Aliner and like the Scamp better. Well, I haven't even used my Aliner yet, but I like I don't have to open it to use it. Really cool.
Thank you for the tour of your Scamp. We have a 17 ft Casita that we also got in 2020. They are very similar to the Scamp. We love ours too. We are senior citizens and got our America the Beautiful pass recently. We want to do the same as you, travel around to the National Parks. Happy camping.
Sounds like you have many great camping trips in your future!!! Sadly, I haven’t camped with this summer heat, but hopefully soon when it cools down. Thanks for watching!
yo-ho, mad-plaider: awesome scamp tour. looking forward to some winter videos with the scamp. smores appearing as the scamp mascot is neat. keeping the options to basic needs was a good idea. i gutted my first viking pop-up, keeping only the propane refrig. that fire was throwing off some good heat, oh wait, me wrong, its my wood stove behind me. anyway, thanks for the post.
Love the heat from a wood fire!! Hmmm I wonder if I could rig a little wood stove in the camper without catching it on fire haha. Thanks again for watching all the videos! I’m hoping to keep them going throughout the winter months!

My mandatory for any rv...I want indoor bathroom and place to take a bath!!!! And a good bed. I have a 20 ft R Pod...it's ok. I don't really care about the rest

Hahaha yeah, it’s pretty bland compared to the cabin! I would like to spice it up a bit with some new curtains!

I have a classic one and it’s beautiful. I love it.

That’s one of the PA state parks we haven’t visited yet! I think we’re up to around 100!
What a great little camper. Excellent choice!👍
Thank you. Very cool little campers for sure!

Friendly tip: you can buy leveler blocks at any RV dealer. Place them under the tires and jacks to help level camper.
Thanks for the tip!
Nice I love it
Thanks for checking out the video!

Love your camper. I have a squaredrop camper that is smaller, but I think it weighs more than yours. I guess I am not living right.
Thank you! I’m hoping to get out scamping more often!! It’s so cozy!
I like your license plate on your trailer

Thank you! Hoping to get out more in the scamp! Building the cabin has kept me busy!

Have you or any of your camping pals ever been in the military?
Are those levelers or stabilizers in the back?
Hi! I guess you could say they are both. I’ve been on slighted slanted sites and use them to level.
What I don't understand on these small campers is why they don't think about aerodynamics. That rounded edge in the rear creates huge drag.
The makers are aware - It's the buyers that aren't lol

Man there ain't nothing like having a shat in your own bathroom. Especially when you are towing it with you
