Reading this while under mental duress is not an experience I can recommend
This is interesting. From what i gather from skimming wisegeek and yourdictionary, 2nd person storytelling is when the narrator or whatever character addresses the reader directly. By that definition, I don't think this game could be defined as 2nd person, because the characters are always talking to the guy trapped in the control room, not the IRL player.
Its hilarious that this lady spends half a minute trying to remember the name of the girl you were with at a party in the middle of this crisis situation. She's super bad at it but will not give up.
LOL there's a family feud section where you're brainstorming stuff to find inside the infirmary. this is great

"PS2 was never meant to run for 12 hours." I'm not exaggerating, when I played mine as a kid, I left it on for months at a time. Never for more than a year, but that was only because of power outages, but it still runs smooth today.

Imagine a VR game where you have to issue voice commands like this, but you're sitting in a room with cabinets and folders around you and a large console with screens and buttons you use to watch one or more characters. You have to familiarize yourself with the controls on the fly and find relevant information from the folders and other materials around you.
Example: You have a woman on the third floor in a closet. There's no camera in the closet, but she found a bomb in there and it is too heavy to move. You have to listen to her describe the bomb and then walk her through disarming it using the information in one of your folders. Meanwhile, a man on the second floor was exploring on his own, and while the woman is fiddling with the bomb on your orders, he reports back in that he's found a secret room behind a bookcase. Inside that room is a paper that shows part of the bomb schematics, so you have him hold the paper to the camera so you can use the information to help the woman. It's entirely possible that you find the secret room with the paper much earlier and already have the information, or maybe you never found it and have to guess. In either case, you're gathering information from many different areas in the building and processing them to lead the people inside to safety.

Is it wrong to say that I actually really like the concept and ideas of this game?
Its weird to say that I actually felt sympathetic towards a fictional character, but I genuinely think the interactions you can have with Rio are pretty cute.
It's like a weird bridge between actual interaction and scripted visual novels, and it kind of makes me feel good.
There's a game with a concept similar but you can only make beeps and the character is blind. Pretty cool as well

Yep, except Im a child with a small attention span so whenever I try to watch Jerma he's in the middle of seriously playing the game and I get bored quickly and just leave. But this is like the highlights of the stream while 2ndJerma is like the cream of the crop
