The first time I saw this video was when I was in high school, the season was autumn. At that time, I caught a cold, so I left school early and was watching UA-cam on my bed at home, and I found this video in the recommended videos. I was intrigued by the grainy image, and when I opened it, I was greeted by the energy of young people and gentle music like a picture book. Since then, I've been watching this video from time to time, and every time I see it, it reminds me of that warm, fluffy feeling that's peculiar to having a cold.
Did you take cough medicine. I realized a lot of those very specific experience in retrospect are traced to being on DXM from cold medicine. (I realized this through doing higher doses on purpose and realizing "oh shit is this why i had mystical experiences when i was sick sometimes?" I always thought it was fever dreams but the DXM was involved for sure.
I agree they have really good energy. And surprisingly despite the low audio quality of this video. I feel like some of that energy translates better here compared to some of the recordings.
@BitsofParrots Toe is incredibly melodic. Yeah, the drummer is pretty much the epitome of all things good and pure in this universe, but the rest of the band has a perfect way of absorbing it all in a cotton ball full of the catchiest tunes you could ever pull into a syringe and shoot into your earballs for your weak little mind to get hooked to. What? I'm willing to risk prison time for a dose if I had to, that shit is fire. Of course, it can't be compared to that Piglet video up there. I have to come back to it once in a while to watch what looks like FUCKING KIDS create music that contains enough greatness to explode stars. I don't know how they do it. I don't even know what they're doing. It slightly resembles a half forgotten acid trip where 3 ninjas jumped into heaven and spin-kicked God in the face. But every time I watch this, I'm pleasantly satisfied. Kudos Piglet, kudos.
ahhh my god whyy did piglet break up! their music is so unique, it has a dreamy, euphoric feel that i cant get over. i really wish they had more songs. so much talent!
i cant even explain the goosebumps i get EVERYTIME i put this video on..i didnt think it was possible for a band to be THIS good. hands down, my favorite experimental band of all time. FUCK THE MAINSTREAM!!
Archipiélagos, cisne, bridges and Knights; y hay algunos más. Argentina es un país grande, tiene cositas interesantes en la escena underground. Acá cómo mucho encontrás a gente haciendo un poco de reggae.
This is one of the few visual shreds of evidence of how badly this Chicago band (that broke up way too early) shreds. Now... Where is a Colossal video?
Eric Albrecht It's much easier and immediate just to type in P-i-g-l-e-t into Spotify, than to ask an open question which may or may not be answered...
These guys are trying to raise money on kickstarter to release a bunch of new tracks and only need $1000 in 20 days! Help make this happen! Links can't be posted on youtube but just google it
While these videos are absolutely classic I do wish that you could hear Ashers guitar more clearly. There are times where the bass is definitely louder. That being said, it wasn't until multiple rewatches and re listens that I noticed how dynamic Ezras bass tone and playing both are. So there's that
The guy in the corner trying to act cool next to the girl still cracks me up
Fat Justin Long?
VICEGIRLS lmao he looks so awkward
looks like (sandy) Alex G
about as cool as trying to smoke a ciggie whilst drumming! great vid though.
Boidink Twistie are you saying that WASN'T cool? Do you know exactly how badass that is?
shoutouts to the drummer for keeping the cigarette in his mouth the whole time!
please dont ever let this video die
Still can't believe this video exists

Everything in this video is amazing, the music, the frat boy vibes and the flannel. Even featuring the classic red plastic cup. RIP Piglet
these are drunk hipsters not frat boys
that guy smokes cigarette.
bass player and drummer seem to be in clear violation of the flannel shirt policy.
sorry, one cool dude in a beanie smokin a ciggy permitted to each party brah
I genuinely wish this band would make an album every year. Incredible energy and feel.
they broke up like a long time ago
+Heytheresailor I know but I just wish that they could still come together to carry on making albums. Every song they do is golden.
I agree they have really good energy. And surprisingly despite the low audio quality of this video. I feel like some of that energy translates better here compared to some of the recordings.
The drummer is so fucking beast, words seriously can't describe it.

Guitar player became a doctor, he's a surgery resident: www.henryford.com/hcp/med-ed/residencies-fellowships/hfh/surgery/residents

What are bands that ended way too early for $1,000, Alex?
Ahhh, remember when Amem Foofboof was a fondly-remembered band that "ended too soon..."
when i first heard this song i always imagined yelling at :54 . this video is too perfect
Wanna be on this kind of stuff here on Argentina, oh man, tired of post-hardcore wannabe scene, this is what I need
Archipiélagos, cisne, bridges and Knights; y hay algunos más.

@federicomenjurje this was like 6 years ago. this type of music is so outplayed now. piglet and volta do mar where the last greats imo
