Just getting back into the sports after a long period of being de-trained. I recently turned 44 and it has been since i was 28 that i practised any form of martial arts. Now i still got the techniques in my head, but no longer in my body. My youngest son recently saw an old video of me when i was in my late teens training Muay Thai & taekwondo and now he wants me to teach him. He's autistic and the few clubs where i live unfortunatly are not eager to accept him. Mainly because he's only 8 and he's not so comfortable with crowds and his motor skills are not so well developed. So i decided to get back to the basics myself and see if i can train him, at least until he's comfortable enough and confident enough to train with other people in the club. This video is helping me help my son, so thank you for this, truely.
For all the teenagers out there that think they can't do it i wanna say something to y'all: just do it, don't be afraid even if you don't go pro, at least do it for you. I am 35 and i recently let a friend of mine who had 16 professional fights to show me the basics of kickboxing. I absolutely love this sport and i always said when i was 14-15 that i will never be good at this. I regret this so much now because i seem to understand and learned very fast what this gentleman is teaching you all...do it boys, the amount of confidence it gives you its unmeasurable! Don't let anyone talk you out of it!

Guys in comment list, do watch his video completely. He is helping people with science implementation in his training. @Gabriel varga
Buddy 🙌 you deliver information with good mechanism. And true basic is the only key 🔐.. keep inspiring brother ❤️💙💪
U know Varga is a great martial artist when he knows there are many ways not just one way. Great content from a world champ.
🙏🙏🙏
Thank you sir! This is very helpful. Not doing it as a sport, just want to try to learn
Thank you for explaining all the techniques from the most basic.🙏🙏 But unfortunately we can't see your feet. especially in punching technique, because it is also very important how the foot is positioned at the beginning and end when executing the 'jab straight uppercut hook' punch. Would you like to make another video about basic boxing punch techniques by showing your whole body. So it will be easy for us to imitate it. What is the correct hand position, what is the correct leg position for example.
Im so glad i came to this chanel !!! Thank you so much Master Gabriel for your great teaching skills! I took up a beginner classes of Muay Thai, i can learn a lot in this video!! So happy indeed 😘👍🥊💪😁😁 Thank you and God Bless you ❤❤
This was the best instructional video I've ever seen. I have no delusions of grandeur. Especially in today's "all inclusive world." I just want to stay in good shape and learn some basic self defense technique so at least I don't hurt myself.

Doing a senior kickfit class..loving the technique 🥊
Just started kickbox. These are wonderful explanations and demonstrations. Thank you!!!
Nice tips bud. Love the approach offering up variations and different schools of thought. (always pros and cons)
Very impressive for a 10 minutes guide 👍
Bro you can’t imagine how helpful that was, now that I’ve learned the basics now I can just practice until I become good, but the problem is that i go to the gym, I train to become a bodybuilder and that doesn’t let me go to a professional training kickboxing classes, thank you 🙏
Do kickboxing. It’s natural.( 95%😂)
Sensei Varga we are fortunate to have you teach us !_! :-)
Part 3 of this series is coming tomorrow.
Can you do a video about bag work? I dont have training partners or anyone to hold pads for me was wondering if i can get some tips? I have few videos for an idea of what i do
He posted one a while ago about long combos that are good for bag work, but I agree he should post more !
@@porkpine123 thanks man i will go back through his videos to find it thanks for the info man
@@ChekhovEis I practiced really slow in a mirror until it was perfect then I sped it up. I did this for 3 years before I went to my first gym. Full body mirrors are quite cheap if you don't own one at the moment
Great video, thak you for sharing your knowledge! It would be really helpful for us absolute beginners to be able to see your feet completely when you are demonstrating. Keep up!
Good, i will practice as much as u can, u are the best
