💅🏻🐉
Thank you for raising funds and awareness about Doctors Without Borders!
I was finally able to donate this week! DWB is an amazing cause and this is turning out to be a phenomenal series! I wish I had a social media presence or people in my life to share this with who'd actually care. I want so very badly for there to be future seasons but that will only happen if they reach their goal of (I think) 50K. Sadly, the fundraiser and series just aren't getting the attention they deserve. If you have the means to signal boost this in any way, please do!
NECROMANCY FUCK YEAH THAT MONOLOGUE WAS BEAUTIFUL
"life is like a tapestry, woven together by a beautiful thread, but death is what pulls the needle". Just... Wow...
I absolutely love all of you
I am loving this. You guys are great and it's for a reason. ❤
Missed the start, scrolled back, just happy to be here 😅💫
Just loving everyone's characters and portrayals! ❤❤
Forrest's Bear Claw joke just being missed by everyone at the table 🥲
Thank you for being there for me.
Too bad ginny isnt coming back 😢
Ginny happily donated what time she could and we are grateful she was able to join the table even if it was only for a couple sessions.
Is nobody going to say anything about the character that just disappeared? No one wonders what happened to her?
We all knew that Ginny was only able to play for a couple of episodes and we kinda forgot our characters didn't know that. There's some catharsis in the next episode, if I remember right.
okok so is vindeca like,, transferring his life force or smth to ppl to heal them w necromancy?? is that why he looks like he's boutta drop dead all the time?? if yes, thats Such an interesting magic concept, i love it!!
That's precisely right! The man will sacrifice anything for his patients, even himself.
Hey Forrest, did you mean to release chapter 1 and 5 on the same day while chapter 2 is still "upcoming"? 😅
This is unlisted so.... idk
Episode 5 is still coming next week, just so we're all still clear on what's upcoming and what's not out yet.
It look fine to me
You didn't see anything. No one will ever believe you.
@@RenegadeScienceTeacher finally! The other comments had me thinking I'd gone mad 🤣
Do you not have any steampunk suits? The tinker has the nice steampunk goggles and Jesse has a full-out steampunk manga look. But you wear a suit 😂
This isn't discussed very much on screen, but Victor is from a country called Odvaha, which is significantly less steampunk-y. They're a little island nation that just gained their independence 100ish years ago and still rely on more traditional technologies, saving the most advanced tech for medicine and education, both of which are nationalized.
But that tech decreases the farther you get from the capitol city of Kryt. Victor came up from nothing in a tiny, impoverished town near the border and moved to the capitol to put himself through medical school after his parents died. His clothes are a point of pride as a symbol of how far he's come and how hard he's worked for his position.
It's SO incredible how much thought, worldbuilding, backgroundstories and love went into this! You guys are absolutely amazing and I'm looking forward to every new episode!
@@RenegadeScienceTeacher ah thank you, makes more sense 🍉💗
I have 20 pages of detailed backstory for Victor. Don't even get me started on what Jesse has for the whole world.
Can I ask all of you atheist something if I took
A small piece of rubber
A small chunk of wood
And piece of metal
And leave all of this in an empty void folwting among each other, what are the odds that in a billion years those three objects will evolve a pencil.
On a scale of one too ten what are the odds that in a billion years those three objects will evolve in to a pencil all without a mind
The difference is a pencil is designed by humans, whilst animals arise from the non-random selection of random mutation due to Natural Selection (the animals what suit their environment best are more likely to reproduce and pass those traits to their offspring)
You should call in next time I'm on The Line (early August) and I'll happily explain the difference between evolution and stuff randomly combining to form other stuff.
since you only accept 1-10 as an answer (assuming 1 is the least likely and 10 the most likely) and i understand correctly that this void is similar to our universe as it is now but just without anything in it except these 3 things, my answer is 1 (meaning not very likely. I would prefer my answer to be 0, meaning not likely at all, but thats not an option you have given, so thats what I'm sticking with).
I say that, because:
1) there is no graphite core. without a graphite core, even if the rubber, the wood, and the metal selfassemble into a pencil shape, thats just a stick with a rubber attached. not a pencil
2) assuming there was a graphite core: The only thing that would happen (in the "short" term) these now 4 things will likely come closer and closer together, due to gravity, since all of them have mass. And then they stay that way. They loose their heat energy until they cannot get any colder and remain in some stabel state
You'll see that this hypothetical pencil universe, even though it is similar to ours in how mass "behaves" in it, it is still incredibly dissimilar to ours. Our universe has a lot of mass that can clump togehter and form planets and stars, which is super helpful in limiting the movement of reaction material and keeping a system from loosing energy to expand the timeframe something can happen. So yeah. I don't get what you were on to, since in the pencil universe is much less reactive than ours, because there is much less in it. Can you please explain?
@@Akronsus Exactly what I was thinking in regards to the graphite part😅
@@Astron-Somnir3141the second law of thermodynamics says that everything is getting worse and will eventually die who.
But evolution says everything is getting better and better, evolution says from cosmological to geological to biological evolution everything is getting better and better, the entire earth started from disorder to order
Which one between these I'm I suppose to believe the second law which we observe or evolution which we have never obser and in which there is not even I transitional fossil of a human.
And how can you expect me to believe that something as simple as a pencil can't come into existence on its own or make itself but expect me to believe that the universe and earth can and even do the impossible make life out of non-life or non-living matter.
