Absolutely. The best light change video of all that I watched. Though my 2009 is a little different set up the process of getting the bulb back in CORRECTLY in independently and putting those clips back in was priceless time saver thank you so much. I still want to beat up the engineer who designed that set up though. Changing lights shouldn't need to be so hard

For HID's best to try swapping Left/Right bulbs first. Need to verify if ballast is functional before throwing parts at it.

If headlamp has sealed cover for bulbs then LED's should not be used. May not fit for one but will also overheat.

My 2010 models bulb and headlight look very different from this one. The bulb has two wires (no way to disconnect) and looks different from the bulb you have. It's thinner and slightly longer.
Are you located in North America? Is the headlight for sure HID or is it halogen or LED? If you answered YES to both, you may have an aftermarket HID conversion kit on your vehicle.
@@Viktor_G_Automotive I did some research. Yes to the first, and yes. Turns out my specific vehicle is not manufactured with HID lights.
So it's must be aftermarket kit. I'll have to find a replacement online unfortunately.

Hey Victor, can you tell little steps how to disconnect a battery properly before replacing this low beam bulb? Do you mean to disconnect a Negative terminal in a small 12V battery in a trunk? Should I keep connected a Positive terminal?
Here is a video on where the 12V battery is located on the hybrid. You just need to remove the negative terminal wire, positive can stay attached. It is really just an extra precaution, if you have the headlight switch in the off position , keep the keys out of the car and people away from the car, the lights will not come on.

Been waiting for this video. Thank you so much. Do you know which fuse terminal is associated with the headlights? I’ll be working on the hybrid as well and want to be sure I don’t get electrocuted but would rather not completely unplug the battery.

I believe with the HID lights, it will be the 10A BIXENON fuse in the fuse box under the hood.
Honestly though, as long as your headlights are off and the ignition is off while you are working on them, you will be fine, we never disconnected the battery at the dealership where I worked to change the bulbs.
I'm going to play it uber safe and disconnect the battery negative terminal. What can I expect to have to reset afterwards? I'm guessing radio presets, maybe door windows, maybe rear hatch…and if the latter, what's that procedure?

Victor, your videos are very good. I have a Lexus 2012 RX 450 h where my driver side low beam is to the left of the high beam (it's closer to the left fender). My high beams are the inner bulbs and low beams are the outer ones. It's under a welded piece of the frame so very inaccessible. It also does not have the tab on the cover to turn it counter clockwise. Do you have a video describing how to replace it?

Could you please elaborate. The airbag turns on and off depending on the weight of the passenger, unless there is a fault or problem with the system.

It is located under the air filter box, screwed into the coolant manifold at the rear of the engine.

Thank you, Viktor. I have the non-hybrid 2010. Your video shows a Phillips HID bulb. Do I need to use OEM or can I get by with a good aftermarket?
The OEM one is just a repackaged Philips or Sylvania. The one in the Amazon link below the video is good quality.

The factory ones are quite expensive at over a dollar per clip. You could go with aftermarket ones like these: amzn.to/4a662rc

You could try to glue it back together with epoxy or plastic weld or similar.

Possibly, but I’ve never done it.
Those stupid metal tabs are annoying. I think they are made for small hands. Sometimes you just push them in towards the center, not down and in. One tab at a time. If it doesn't pop out in a few seconds you're doing it wrong.
Putting the bulb back in is much easier.
They can definitely be a pain!

You can’t get fault codes from using a different brand light bulb, this is not a Volkswagen 😉

@@davidmushio1324 just make sure to get the right bulb. If yours is a factory HID, I don’t know if Auxito makes a replacement for it.
If you have regular halogen bulbs, you’ll have no problem installing Auxito LED.

Fair enough. I’m pretty sure your 2004 RX330 uses a different HID bulb than the 2010-15 RX though.
