Great informational video, thanks. Will be attempting this on our 2011 RX350. It’s amazing to me how easily the front DRL bulbs can be accessed, yet Toyota made it so difficult to get at the fog lights and tail lights 🤷♂️
Good luck! Keep me posted 😄
Use gloves when handling bulbs when changing the bulbs leave the lights on and you’ll know they’re working before you close everything up.
Thanks for the advice and the support! Be sure to sub for more! :)
The led replaced above the turn signal is also the brake light. Do your brake lights work?
The brake lights are separate on my car and are LEDs already. The ones I replaced are all running lights. The brake lights function normally. Thanks for commenting! 😄
nice !!!!! all L.E.D !!!! SHOUT OUT FROM THE R UNIT ;222
Thanks for your support!
Great!
Thank you

Do the rear blinkers next!
I've thought about this, but I"m hesitant. I think the blinkers could be a bit more complicated because of the whole blinking timer thing? I think some blinker LEDs have that built-in...but I haven't tried pulling the trigger (or...dare I say, pulling the blinker stalk...🤣) on that one yet. 😄
Thanks for watching, and be sure to sub for more! Thanks, @armaanrooprai5880!
Do you see any hotspots from where you put in the LED bulbs either on the tail lights or bumper lights?
If by hotspots you mean super bright spots, don’t think so. It looks similar to how it looks in the video, I think 😄
By hot spots I wondered about meeting neighboring plastics. LED challenge can be great management, particularly in enclosed spaces that weren't originally designed for them.
And the blinker things I think are already LED modules? Not certain
Thanks for your video
@@markentress1286Ah, thanks for clarifying. I didn't notice any places where the LEDs met neighboring plastics; the LEDs I got are small, and the spaces they fit into seemed quite large. For the blinkers, this generation of RX does not have LED lights, except for the side mirror blinkers (those are LEDs, I believe). I have not tried replacing those. The brake lights on this generation are LEDs (at least on the 2013 and later refresh...not sure about the 2010-2012 model years).

You should have used red led bulbs
The original bulbs are not red, too, as the housing is red...so I just used LED versions of the same color. Thanks for commenting, @thekofianderson, and be sure you're subbed for more!
Originals are yellowish and that is able to project the red color of the lenses better than a white bulb. The whites make the lenses look pink. I've done it before. Try red and see the difference.
Ah, I see what you're saying,@@thekofianderson . They also sell amber bulbs...wonder if these would most accurately copy the originals? I don't mind the ever-so-slightly different color the ones I used project in the red casings...they seem to be brighter than before, so that's good for me! :) Thanks for commenting!
That is so cool
Love DIY projects so figured why not post 'em on my UA-cam too. Not many other places can you learn a Chopin Etude, see a concerto performance, and also learn how to install a bidet all on one channel. 🤣
RIGHTTTT
Nice
Thanks! Figured might as well upgrade 'em to LEDs when one goes out!
In the back it's tail lights
Ah thank you! 😄
These LED lights are junk. They don't last.
Uh oh…hopefully these last. How long did yours last for?
@@CharlieAlbrightPianist a few months and they start flickering. I only use these for inside cabin where they don't come on often. That seem to work ok.
Oh wow…I think mine are still good so far (knock on wood!).
